The whole experience was an absolute dream!
Kenya Safari Arcade went above and beyond our expectations. Coming from Canada and not being familiar with the process and how to navigate the various offerings, Kenya Safari Arcade walked us through every step of the way. Communications were clear and concise with plenty of options made available to us within our budget. We decided to go with Lerai Safari Camp and it did not disappoint. The staff were amazing (Mandela, Daniel, Jamblick) made it seem like the entire camp was reserved for just the two of us. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in experiencing a safari in Masai Mara.

Fantastic from start to finish, if I could give six stars I would!
I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience with Compass (Darren and Kate) was. Between finding the right trip, canceling and rebooking due to covid multiple times, and finally rebooking the whole trip with 2 days notice they were absolutely unbelievable. Further, the communication during the trip was also above and beyond. I highly, highly recommend Compass and I look forward to more trips planned and managed by them in the future

Well informed and he is good at his job
We love the hotel Villa Rosa In Nairobi and the tour guide Paul took us to different places for food such as Carnivore Restaurant was our favorite. He also took us to the museum, Nairobi park, giraffe center with in the short period we were there. Overall it was a great vacation.

Had a fantastic trip with super good service!
Almost 2 years before the actual departure date, the first plans were made with Sander. Due to Covid, the plans have been postponed a number of times, which was never made difficult. Not even when the departure date was approaching, but the infections were rising rapidly. Even then we were able to decide last minute whether or not to go. Finally decided to go and never regretted it. You can make agreements with the guide about how to deal with, for example, wearing a face mask and this is respected. In the end (due to circumstances other than Covid) the trip had to be canceled early, but this was no problem at all and everything could be arranged. When our guide, Moses, was told that we were going home earlier, he did everything he could to get the most out of our trip.
All in all a very good experience with Grassrootz. They completely unburden you and do everything they can to give you an unforgettable holiday.

My sisters and I have been wanting to "take a dip in Lake Turkana" for years now. Finally, in December 2021, we decided we will accomplish this dream come hell or high water. A quick browse on the internet brought forth "Bush-thorns Adventures and Safaris". In Kenyan spirit, we didn't give it a second thought and started a conversation with Samuel about quotes and what have you. Since it was our first time to travel to Turkana, we had like a barrage of questions that we bombarded Samuel with every now and then. He was always so patient and kind and satiated us with his responses every time. D day arrived and we found ourselves spellbound with the magnificent views from the chartered flight to Lodwar. Our stay at Eliye Springs was simply "magical" - one has to just experience this for themselves. We don't have enough words to praise the staff there. Special thanks to the chef who catered for our very specific diet (vegan and jain); we definitely came back 2kgs heavier. Day 2 was very special. We took of to explore Central Island - Kenyan geography never ceases to amaze me! GORGEOUS and a must visit! I can prattle on and on about this special trip but, as they say, words won't do justice. I highly recommend a trip to Turkana asap :) Asante Bush-thorns :D

Going on a safari with Safari Update Travels was the highlight of my trip to Kenya. From the first contact on email, till the very last process, the entire team has made my trip an unforgettable one. Silas who took my reservation was so kind and available, He advised me on the tours, the different options, the tented camps. Always answering my questions promptly.
I spent 6 days on safari, with the most incredible guide Simon. Super kind, making sure I had the most amazing experience from the different places I’ve been to. He knew every single animal we encountered, taking time to explain the difference between male and female, how to differentiate one from the other. I couldn’t have wished for a better guide and next time I come to Kenya, I won’t hesitate on which guide to go with.
He wasn’t tired of me asking to stop for more pictures and he was making his best to get me the best scenes. A truly great safari experience comes from the people who guide you and it has made this journey one to remember.

Knowledgeable, safe driver and patient
Ahava Safaris gave us a trip of a life time. On 25th December 2021 Brian our driver and guide took us to Jinja and sipi falls for a 3days trip. He knew the best places to stop for lunch, and allow us buy soveniers and best spot for photos. He answered almost all our questions knowledgeable. The Safari jeep we used was am comfortable with great music in it. I must say we received more than what we paid for. Forever grateful of Ahava safaris and Brian.

Went on a safari trip (5 days) with this company. I enjoyed the trip a lot! The guides were nice and friendly and the chef was good. We saw the big five!

Very professional and knew the park well
The driver was very professional. He was a great guide, answered all of our questions about the animals and the park. He took us to see all the animals we wanted to see as well. Overall it was an awesome experience and a memorable one.

Excellent Safari and Best guide James!
My Husband and I traveled to Kenya for our honeymoon in August 2021 with Safari Update Travels. We had the most memorable time with their team and the whole process was like a breeze. Linsel was very helpful throughout the trip.
Our trip including 4 days in Masai Mara, 2 days in Nakuru, Naivasha area and 2 days in Amboseli.
The land cruiser car was in splendid condition with comforts like a large size fridge and WiFi.
What stood out of the whole trip was James our safari guide. He's a remarkable guy with more than 15 years of safari experience, he made our trip very memorable and adventurous, he's not only a good driver and a guide but also a wild life and biodiversity enthusiast.
