Very nice safari with a wonderful guide
We had a very nice 4-day safari with Obag Safaris. Obeg, our guide, picked us up at the cruise port in Dar es Salaam. We had contacted each other on WhatsApp which was good because we had some trouble finding each other at the port. My husband uses a very big sport walker, so we were glad that we were picked up in a van which was driven by the very capable Katcha (sp??). The Mikumi Lodge was about a 6-hour drive away, and we stopped for a pleasant lunch on the way. Mikumi Lodge isn’t as well-appointed as some that we’ve stayed in at Arusha and the Serengeti, but it was very clean and comfortable and staffed with the loveliest people.
We had two full days of game drives during which Obeg pointed out all of the game and birds in sight. We we’re able to see plenty of zebras, gnus, water buffaloes, antelope, lions, and birds. We really wanted to spot a leopard, but it was not to be. But we did get to see a python! We’d never seen on in the wild before. This guy was about six meters long.
Obeg was very kind, helpful and attentive the whole time. He also handled my husband’s walker in and out of the safari truck multiple times a day which wasn’t easy.

The organization is impeccable, the 4x4 very clean and comfortable, the high quality accommodation offered (lodges and tents, the experience is worth it!), the meals very good (cooked meals served on a tablecloth in the middle safari!).

Unforgettable Tanzania Safari Experience
I wanted to travel to Zanzibar for this summer of 2022, I went through google search process finally I met Amore African Safari. I shared my trip plan with them. After 1 day the proposal was sent via email showing every detail regarding to Tanzania Safari, Zanzibar Vacation and hotels plus what is included and not included.
Thanks to Nalisis was beneath with me and my wife to make sure we are part of the planning process. Finally the tour begun, at Kilimanjaro International Airport was what I dreamed for, here I met Nalisis at Aiport waiting for Us with Flowers, 'it was Waaaaoooh. The next day we went for 5 Days Tanzania Safari to Tarangire National park, then Serengeti National park spending 2 nights and then Ngorongoro Crater. The last 5 days were spent in Zanzibar doing excursions and beach relaxing. Thanks to Nalisis for the best experience from start to end. He made us to feel we are part of our experience from the idea, plan and itinerary finally in adventure it self. Thanks to Mr. Mtaita our beloved tour Guide was very professional and knowledgeable.

The tour was one of the best that I've had in a long time. I was picked from my apartment on time for the afternoon tour. We set out into the National Park and right after I was able to spot a few zebras grazing. In the distance were giraffes grazing too. I was also fortunate enough to see a pride of lions resting, I presumed they had a very sumptuous meal. They had cubs which were seen playing beside the pack. Buffaloes were also in large groups. The tour turned out to be amazing. I had the best experience and I felt so good getting to see all those animals. I'll definitely be booking my next tour with Delfin Tours.

The tour was very worthwhile and a once in a lifetime adventure. Among many of the animals observed I saw elephants, rhinos, lions, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, water buffalos, giraffes and a large variety of birds. The beauty of the spectacular landscape, as well as the observing the creatures that freely roam in that landscape in the wild in the safety of a raised vehicle, was an unforgettable experience. Even though I took many memorable photos with my cell phone, I was thankful I had my binoculars to zoom in on animals that my camera could not. I recommend taking a good pair of binoculars with you.
