Wonderful Experience with Real Africa Safaris
My friend and I had an absolutely wonderful time on Safari with Real Africa Safaris! Silas was a knowledgeable and friendly guide throughout our trip who went above and beyond to make our experience special.
We travelled to Samburu National Reserve and the Ol Pejeta Conservancy and saw some phenomenal wildlife both from a distance and up close (elephants, lions, giraffes, rhinoceroses, gazelles, zebras, and so much more). Silas was an excellent driver and guide and ensured we could see and photograph the animals clearly.
Arrangements for transit and lodgings were seamless, and the lodge at Samburu was especially nice with a private balcony from which we could see giraffes and elephants in the distance.
Communication before the trip was also excellent as we had all questions answered comprehensively and in a timely fashion.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and I recommend it without hesitation to anyone!

Wonderful safari
We had an amazing safari, everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Our guide, Damian, was exceptional friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about wildlife. He made sure we had the best game drives and always found incredible animals for us to see.
The food was absolutely delicious, and every meal exceeded our expectations. One of the highlights was enjoying a picnic lunch a hot meal inside the beautiful Serengeti National Park, surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
We were lucky to see so many animals, including the Big Five, and exploring both the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater was truly unforgettable.
Thank you, Damian and the entire Toilo office, for creating such wonderful memories. We highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional, exciting, and unforgettable safari in Tanzania

Great safari with an excellent guide
My wife and I had an amazing time on safari in the Serengeti National Park and Ngorogoro Crater. It has formed part of our honeymoon and the service we received from the moment we arrived off of our plane in Seronera was exceptional. Our guide introduced himself with a huge smile, which never left his face throughout the 3 days we were with him. A beautiful touch, which we were not expecting was that there was a 'Just Married' cover on the spare tyre on the back of the jeep.
The Jeep/Land cruiser was comfortable, spacious and had lots of storage facilities and full power to charge our devices. It also included an opening roof so we could stand and see the animals with maximum ease and with the best view.
Said (our guide) was polite, helpful, considerate of our wants and needs and so full of knowledge about the park, animals, other wildlife and the local area. He could not have done enough for us to ensure we had the best time.
Lunches were really delicious, freshly prepared by the lodges and were always full meals, as opposed to sandwiches. We had chicken, rice, spaghetti, beef mince, burgers along with fresh fruit, cakes, biscuits, etc.
There was also an electric cool box full of water, soft drinks and beer which were inclusive of the price. All were plentiful and readily available for when we wanted/needed.
The lodges we stayed at were lovely. Night one was at Wildlux Serengeti Camp where we were welcomed with a traditional song/dance which was amazing. The camp team had made our room up to showcase our honeymoon with a decorated bed which was a lovely touch. The food served at dinner was also delicious and the overall service was excellent.
Night 2 was at Nakupenda Luxury Lodge. For us, this location was the better of the two. The service was better (not that it was bad on night one, just better here), the facilities nicer (including a camp fire to watch the sunset) and food options better (buffet style). At the end of our stay here, we were gift a 'happy honeymoon' cake which was so kind and thoughtful.
We saw every animal we wanted to see, apart from Leopards - which evaded us unfortunately. So 4 out of the Big 5, which we were so happy with.
Overall, we couldn't have wished for a better trip or guide - if you have a choice, please consider Said. He was brilliant from start to finish. Thank you so much for giving us the best time and helping us create some amazing memories ❤️

We recently completed a safari with **Serengeti Smile**, and I can confidently say that the experience met—and in many ways exceeded—our expectations.
A special mention goes to **Francisca**, our coordinator. From our very first inquiry, she was incredibly responsive, answering questions promptly at all hours, whether late at night or early in the morning. She put together a fantastic customized itinerary that perfectly matched what we were looking for. Throughout the planning process she was friendly, professional, and attentive to every detail. It was also a pleasure to meet her in person, and we appreciated that she checked in with us during the tour to make sure everything was going well.
Our guide and driver, **Hussain**, was equally exceptional. His knowledge of the parks, wildlife, and local area greatly enhanced our safari experience. He consistently made excellent decisions about where to go and when, helping us maximize our wildlife sightings. Beyond that, he was friendly, personable, and a highly skilled driver, making us feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey, even on challenging roads.

Three Generation Family from USA treated to a trip of a lifetime by African Welcome Safaris!
Our trip included my wife and I, five kids, two sons-in-law and four grandchildren. I wanted to recreate for them the Safari experience I had in 1987 in Kenya and Tanzania to inspire them for their future. African Welcome Safaris exceeded my ask and delivered an experience that overshadowed 1987 Kenya. Kathi got us Lodges in Madikwe & Kariega that made us feel like Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. More importantly, the twice a day Safari drives delivered all the predators and prey we had hoped for sans the elusive Leopard. In Madikwe we had infinity pools from which we could observe animals collecting at a watering hole. We were kept safe and felt safe at the same time as we were getting Up Close and Personal with Lions, Elephants and Giraffes. My 27 and 33 year old daughters came to us with tears saying: "Did you see all those Elephants around our truck, it was the most beautiful experience". Everyone of us, down to the four grandchildren had the experience of a lifetime. We are so grateful to Kathi for selecting the perfect reserves and lodges for us and ensuring that we had safe and timely transportation as we moved from Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town and to the two reserves, Madikwe & Kariega. Kathi checked us into flights, gave us the name and phone number of the driver for our road trips. True White Glove experience.

From the very beginning, Francisca made the whole planning process incredibly easy. She helped us choose the perfect itinerary and was always available to assist us with everything we needed, from arranging our airport transfers to assigning us an experienced Italian-speaking guide. Her professionalism and kindness made us feel well taken care of even before our adventure began.
Our safari started in Tarangire National Park, and right from the first day we were amazed. We saw so many animals, including a beautiful lion resting in a tree just a few meters away from us. It was an unforgettable sight!
On the second day, we visited the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, where we were lucky enough to see an incredible variety of wildlife, including two black rhinos from very close up. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The third and fourth days were spent in the magnificent Serengeti National Park, where we also stayed overnight inside the park, surrounded by nature. Sleeping in the heart of the Serengeti was an unforgettable experience. We were lucky enough to see countless lions, leopards, cheetahs, and many other incredible animals, including some very rare species. Every game drive was full of surprises and unforgettable moments.
Our last night was spent in Karatu, where everything was once again perfect and the accommodation was excellent.
A very special thank you goes to our amazing guides, Erick and Pius, who made this journey the most incredible experience of our lives.
Erick, thanks to his excellent Italian, explained so much about Tanzania, its wildlife, and its fascinating culture. We learned about the traditions of the Maasai and other local tribes, making the safari not only exciting but also deeply enriching.
Pius was an outstanding driver with exceptional knowledge of the parks. Thanks to his experience, patience, and incredible tracking skills, we were able to find not only all of the Big Five but also many rare animals. He always knew exactly where to go, even in the most challenging situations.
Thank you once again to the entire Serengeti Smile team for giving us memories that will stay with us forever. This was, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful experiences of our lives, and when we come back to Tanzania, we will definitely choose Serengeti Smile again.
