Fantastic service: professional; helpful; value for money; fun!
This was our second trip to the Masai Mara with Madhuka Tours and yet again, it was truly brilliant! William makes the booking and organising of such a trip very easy and he understood exactly what our family was looking for and communicated with us within an hour of messaging him each time. Our driver and guide Hudson was truly fantastic. He was punctual, helpful, a very safe driver and made the joinery to the Mara part of the experience with his local knowledge. Once in the Masai Mara, Hudson’s incredible knowledge of the area and animals allowed us to have THE most incredible few days. He is so wonderfully friendly and fun and knows all of the local guides! We saw over 30 lions (including Cubs!); 7 cheetah; leopards; elephants; hyenas; hippos and so many plain animals too. Our children had the best time as Hudson made the game drives so much fun and educational for them. Our accommodation was great and exactly what we’d requested from William- within the park; delicious food; very helpful staff and a pool for our children. I cannot recommend Madhuka Tours more highly and can’t wait to use them again for our next trip.

Fantastic experience with a top notch operator
Wow! This was a trip of a lifetime and one that I will never forget. From the beginning of the hike with the song and dance to send us off, to the one to one attention provided to ensure that each participant was successful in their hike - I could not have asked for anything more. Personally, I struggled with the altitude and needed to take my time. My guide Mike, carried my backpack from day three on and he was there every step of the way with words of encouragement, information about the environment we were hiking in and checking on me for safety purposes. I am happy to say I made it to the summit! I was blown away by how quickly the staff worked. We would leave our tents to begin our hike and by the time we got to our new camp site everything was ready for us - tents, food, etc. We had tea everyday halfway through our hike! Simply amazing

Must recommend tour agency, I visited Uganda this year and went on a trip with bright safaris Uganda but it was really wonderful after meeting most friendly people and lots of animals, their staffs are very professional and knowledgeable.

We traveled with a group of four to a safari in Kenya. We did a lot of research and contacted Seven by Far to book our trip. Sylvester at Seven by Far handled all of our flights and bookings. Our itinerary was very full with 4 parks and air transportation between them. The lodging suggested and booked by Sylvester was outstanding. The flights and transportation to them went flawlessly. Our guides at each park were skilled, knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. The guides were more like friends than guides. Sylvester even handled the appointment for our Covid tests to fly home. There were no surprises - except some extras that our tent camps threw in. I would highly recommend Sylvester and Seven by Far.
(And yes we saw the “Big 5” and much more!)

Compass Odyssey exceeded all of my expectations
To start, with the complexities of traveling from the USA due to Covid, and correspondingly, with firming up plans, I found Darren and Kate at Compass to be the most patient, informative, and accommodating. They answered every single question I had ( probably more than once) and remained extremely patient. I new almost out of the gate that I was going with Compass Odyssey as out of all of the many operators I connected with they were THE most responsive and informative. I trusted them out of the gate and they lived up to my expectations.
The trip was amazing. Again, due to COVID, and the constant need for PCR tests, I was a little nervous. No need, Darren and team had this completely arranged for me, everything always went smoothly crossing borders and having the required testing completed.
Compass's travel partners and lodges were the best. Truly top notch service and experience. My mind was blown all along the way. Again, all of my expectations were exceeded. Mortimer my guide in Zimbabwe was fantastic and went above and beyond to make me feel safe and cared for as I was traveling by myself.
This was a trip of a lifetime, or so I thought...as I am going back. I will most definitely be using Compass Odyssey again!

Wonderful!
Wonderful experience: We saw the big five! Lots of elephants and lions up close. Zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, flamingos, buffalos, antipopes, and even a rhino, even though it was in the distance.
Everyone was extremely friendly and considerate.

We come from Switzerland and at first we didn't expect such a high level of quality for the price (good value)
We chose the standard pack hotel :
1. We had a jeep for two
2. For Lunch, we had hot meals and wine, really delicious
3. We learn a lot with our guide about the culture and also the animals
4.the hotels were well situated and fancy..
Definitely we was amazed by the norongo crater.. We recommended this agency to our friends who plan to travel to Tanzania..

We spent 3 days exploring stonetown with our brilliant guide Juma, whose intricate knowledge of Zanzibar was amazing during the stone town, prison island, spice and Jozani forest tours. He then drove us to Matemwe beach where we had been booked in the spectacular Matemwe Lodge where we spent the next four days relaxing in the secluded beach.
