4 day group-joining safari with Max from Suricata
I went on a group-joining 4 day-safari to Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Suricata. I can recommend the tour for everyone! You might wanna switch out Lake Manyara with Tarangire but for me it was perfect because I visited Tarangire a week before.
Our driver Max was fantastic! A very kind person and he tried to bring us in the best positions for our adventure all day long. On top of that we got a lot of interesting information about the different animals.
I decided to take myself on a camping safari (rather than being in a lodge) and it was perfect. On the Campsites you had everything which was needed (maybe take a power bank with you...even that you can charge your phone in the Jeep while being on the safari - you never know :) ) and two of them were even in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro area. I felt really safe but you might see or hear some animals during day or night. Our cook Tito prepared amazing meals for us every day (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Couldn't have asked for more - that's for sure.
All in all it was a great adventure with amazingly friendly people all around me. If you are going for a safari with Suricata you should definetely ask for Max and Tito as your driver and cook!

An Amazing Experience Made Possible By Capable Guides
An Amazing Experience Made Possible By Capable Guides
We went on tour with Moonlight Tours in September 2023 and had a wonderful experience. The guides took care of everything for us and some very good English, Spanish, and French. Food, transportation, lodging, etc. They made sure we had plenty of water and adequate time and breaks to use the bathroom. They knew the parks like the back of their hand and were able to find every single one of the Big Five over the course of our travels with them. The lodging they selected for us all had amazing food and atmosphere and places we stayed at were well equipped and convenient to the places we were going to. Their travel knowledge and diving skills were amazing as well. Most people could not navigate the places we went to but our guides had no problem with the muddy roads. If you are looking for an easy to go on safari I highly recommend Moonlight Tours. They took care of all the business so that we could relax and completely enjoy the safari.

Amazing service and guide!
I loved going on my Uganda safari with Elyson adventures. It felt very personalized, and the attention was great. Nathan our guide was super knowledgeable of nature, history, culture of Uganda. We had great conversations with him.
Every lodge was above our expectations, the food was great, and the attention was perfect. I like that this agency is created and owned by Ugandans so I know it's people that want to show their beautiful country to the world.

The best Safari is with Meijo Safaris!
We did the 5-day, 4-night Safari and it was the best experience we had with the Meijo Safari agency!! Our guide MALIAK explained everything to us in great detail, he is very intelligent and passionate about what he does! It is a pleasure to travel with a guide like this, plus he was very kind, patient and willing to do everything we asked of him. Thanks to him and the communication he had with other guides we were able to see the Big 5! Everything was a dream and choosing the option to sleep in lodges was the best option because we slept very well, we had a private bathroom with all the comforts. I would definitely travel with them again and recommend them to my friends without a second thought.

Amazing Experience - Above and Beyond!
My wife and I went to Tanzania for our honeymoon and chose to do our safari through African Big Cats Safaris. I have previously done a safari in Uganda so I had some idea of what to expect, but the trip honestly was better than I ever could have imagined.
We cannot stop talking about how impressed we were with Endeni, our guide for the trip. Endeni really went above and beyond every single day of the trip; we ended every day feeling like he had done everything that he possibly could have to make our safari that day as amazing as possible. In addition to his knowledge of wildlife (especially birds - wow!), he knew so much about photography and never failed to get us in a position for the best lighting possible.
Obviously a lot of what you will see is dependent on nature, but Endeni did everything he could to make sure we saw as much as possible. We saw all of the big five - we did not expect to see any rhinos, but ended up seeing six (three in Ngorongoro and three in Serengeti!). We also saw a leopard carrying a zebra in a tree in the Serengeti, which was a truly unforgettable experience.
While there were countless things that Endeni did to make our trip perfect, there are two examples that I want to share. The first was in the Ngorongoro Crater. We had been there all day, and the park was closing soon, but Endeni went out of his way to take us to a hippo pool. We were the only car there, and got to watch three hippos get out of the water and walk right in front of the car. It was such a special experience and made possible by Endeni choosing to stay as late in the park as was permitted. The second was in the Serengeti. I asked if there were cheetahs in the area that we were in, and Endeni deducted that I was hoping to see more cheetah. Somehow, he knew exactly where to go to find two cheetahs that had been hiding and let us spend an hour with them getting tons of great pictures.
For the entire trip, we never felt rushed or pressured. Endeni always made sure to give us enough time with the animals, but could sense when we were ready to move on.
Everything else was great as well. The company was great to work with during the planning phase and helped a lot with selecting our lodges. We stayed at Gran Melia Arusha, Maramboi Tented Lodge, Kitela Lodge, Ngorongoro Serena, Elewana Pioneer Camp Serengeti, and Z Hotel Zanzibar. I will write separate reviews for each of these, but they were all great. Pioneer Camp was by far our favorite (the coolest place we have ever stayed), but we also loved Gran Melia, Maramboi, and Kitela. Serena Ngorongoro was good, but it was definitely an older crowd (as honeymooners, we were in our late 20's and felt like we didn't see anyone at the hotel below the age of 40 while we were there). But the views were excellent from our room and we didn't really have any complaints. The transportation we received to our first hotel in Arusha and to and from our last hotel in Zanzibar was also excellent.
If I had to mention one bad part of the trip, it would probably be our flight from Seronera Airstrip in the Serengeti to Zanzibar (but this really wasn't African Big Cats Safaris' fault). The airport is just very chaotic and it wasn't even clear to us when our flight was leaving - we basically just got on a plane and hoped for the best. Our flight also had a longer layover in Arusha than we expected. However, I took a regional flight within Uganda when I was there and had a similar chaotic experience, so I think it is just something to be prepared for when taking flights from smaller airports in Africa. Again, nothing African Big Cats Safaris could have helped - Endeni got us to the airport in plenty of time and waited there until we were through security and situated.
Overall, it was the trip of a lifetime and we really couldn't have been happier. I would recommend using African Big Cats Safaris to everyone I know - the cost was fair and I can't imagine how we could have possibly had a better experience than we did with them. If you are on the fence, just book with them! You will not regret it!

Best trip ever!
We had the most amazing time. We travel a lot and this was our best vacation ever. We booked the 5 day safari. Our first stop was tarangire national park and it was pure magic. Like a scene from the lion king. There were sooooo many animals. It absolutely exceeded our expectations. We also spent 2 days in the Serengeti and got just a few feet from male and female lions and even baby lions. We saw a cheetah chase after a gazelle. We saw leopards and about 100 hippos. Of course there were giraffes, elephants, wilder beasts, ostriches, and impalas all over the place. We spent 3 nights in lodges where everyone was extremely hospitable and the food was awesome. In the Serengeti and crater we glamped and came back from dinner to find our camps surrounded by zebras and gazelles. We went to sleep to the sounds of lions, elephants and hyenas which was a surreal experience. We explored the crater and saw 2 rhinos, hippos, lions, and thousands of flamingos. Our guide Louis was so knowledgeable and knew everything about every animal, bird, tradition, food and everything. We had a cook who traveled with us and prepared meals for us while we were out on game drives. We felt absolutely safe the entire time. It was one of the best weeks of our lives and we will be talking about it until we are 80z. Book the trip and thank me later. :)
