Individual safari with very experienced guide
5/5

We booked a 4-days safari for 2 people with Captain Abdalla as our tour guide for the whole trip.

Communication: The communication before the safari worked out perfectly via Email and Whatsapp. Lennox from Axis was very helpful to adjust the itinerary and arranging the payments via our hotel in Kenia.

Service: Both car and driver were perfect for that long rides. Abdalla is a very experienced driver in all terrains and knows how to fix minor issues at his car by his own. We felt very safe and throughout the whole journey Abdalla explained a lot about the country, culture and of course animals. He was extremely passionate about the wildlife and nature protection.

Safari: Abdalla spotted so many animals without binoculars and at full speed. We have even seen many animals outside the national parks. No matter which park we visited, we had always the impression he knows most animals in person and can tell an interesting story about the animal, its family or its history. The hotel which where picked by Axis were all gorgeous. We went for the more luxurious accommodations and didn’t regret it a second. After our official safari, we were dropped directly at our hotel.

Recommendation: As the hotels where all extremely nice, it would have been worthwhile to stay there a bit longer. Either for a longer break (whole afternoon) between the safaris or an extra day in between. Maybe it’s worthwhile to offer a package with 4 nights as well to allow a bit more relaxation time between the long rides. We would consider that for the future! Especially as you can watch so many animals for the hotel ground as each accommodation was located in the parks

Highly Recommended for a Great Ugandan Safari & Ape Trekking Experience
5/5

We had an amazing trip with Home to Africa Safaris. All questions and communications were prompt and clear, and all lodges used were highly reputable. We particularly enjoyed Haven Lodge in Buhoma, as well as Chimpanzee Guest House, Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort and Rwakobo Rock.

The Company went to great lengths to ensure a smooth trip during COVID times. Home to Africa was also able to build the required COVID test for departure (as of Feb. 2021) into our already existing itinerary. They worked to find a reputable testing lab close to our itinerary, and arranged so that the test could be taken in transit between two different lodges. This only caused a very minor deviation (2 hours transit/testing time) to our tour to accommodate the test - I was very impressed! All went smoothly and COVID testing results were provided within 24 hours of testing. All other COVID protocols were followed and I would not hesitate to take the trip again, even during the ongoing pandemic.

Of the three safaris taken in multiple countries, our guide, Karim, was the best I’ve experienced. Karim has a keen eye on spotting birds and game I would have never had seen, and also has a vast knowledge on these species which he uses to educate you during your trip. Karim’s knowledge on Ugandan wildlife far exceeded my expectations and he possesses an extensive expertise far greater than most guides. While we were not on a bird safari, Karim’s great proficiency of Ugandan fowl turned out to be an unexpected gem of the trip. He is very articulate and organized - we felt we were in very good hands with Karim! Dinners with Karim were also particularly enjoyable and we learned a great deal about Ugandan culture through our conversations. I would highly recommend requesting him for your trip.

Wonderful adventure for a great price :)
5/5

I'm very pleased that I chose Safari with Nelson. Contact with him was immediate. Nelson is a helpful and reliable person, he took care of all the details. The cook is amazing - the food was delicious. I have never been hungry and thirsty. As for Safari itself, it was an amazing adventure! I've seen all of the big 5. I will remember it for the rest of my life. Thank you Nelson!

Flexible operator - adapting to my requests as a solo traveller.
5/5

I liked that the tour operator Ally(Ali?) showed me the camping gear in their office and was able to adapt the solo safari to my requests.

I really recommend that you ask for the driver "Abduhl" (Full name: Abdilah Hamad Kisio). You will hardly find a more trustworthy and nice driver, and his English is very good as well.

Amazing
5/5

We went on a safari for 2 days: the first day is Tarangiri Park, the second is Ngorongoro. The organization was at the level, the tour provided for another zero day. In addition to the fact that we were picked up from the airport, they also conducted an excursion around Arusha, told in sufficient detail about everything that interested us. Overnight stay at Arusha tourist inn. Breakfast is also there. We traveled a lot in both parks and saw all, well, almost all animals. The driver talked to each other, telling where and who to see. Lunches were in lunch boxes. The first day there was a lot of meat (burger, chicken, some kind of triangle with meat). In the second, a sandwich with mayonnaise and carrots is not equivalent). General biscuits, muffins, juice, banana. Everything is organized in such a way that it is impossible to get lost, but at the same time there is no feeling that you are being controlled all the time, there is also free time and take pictures, and you can stop wherever you want. These two parks are completely different, they undoubtedly complement each other very well, but they certainly do not replace. I will safely recommend the travel africa safari agency, because everything is reliable, the food is delicious, and they organize a stop in hotels that are good for their level (the only problem was with hot water everywhere, but this is clearly not about the tour itself)

Incredible week of Safari
5/5

Tanzania is an amazing and beautiful country and I would highly encourage everybody to choose the place for Safari. The people are all very nice, Hospitable and all really take the effort to try to conserve the natural environment in the country which leads to a vast concentration of animals. Kili slopes is the perfect company to take you on safari in Tanzania. David is very accommodative and made a personalized itinerary for us for an 8 night Safari. He is easy to reach and his pricing is very reasonable. He promised us we would see all the Big 5 animals during our trip and the Safari lived up to its billing. The diversity of animals far exceeded my previous Safari in South Africa, as we got a great look at the wildebeest migration/calving season in the Ndutu area right before the long rain season. We saw all the big 5 during our safari, several cheetahs and hyenas and even some rare finds such as a serval cat, albino baboon, and a hippo out of water! Overall our Safari was made because of our incredible guide Simon. He is very charismatic, speaks great English, communicates well and truly makes the extra effort to make sure that we get the best chance to see animals. In the Ndutu area off road driving is allowed and he made sure that we could get close enough to see lions in trees, leopards and cheetahs. He is very experienced and we always felt safe in his Jeep. He is very knowledgeable about all of the animals, has an eagle eye in spotting animals we otherwise wouldn’t have seen on our own and is easily one of the best drivers who goes into Serengeti. Additionally, chef Salim made us delicious vegetarian food during every night we camped (even Pizza!). Tanzania has very low rates of covid transmission and is safer than most western countries. Nonetheless, nearly all businesses (including David’s) take the proper precautions including having hand washing/sanitizer readily available. Overall Tanzania is a must see and Kili slope will make sure you have the best experience possible! If Simon is your guide you will certainly not be disappointed.

Breathtaking and life-changing experience--trip of a lifetime--seriously!
5/5

I took this trip with my sister-in-law (and best friend) in 2019. We still talk about it over and over again. The memories of the time spent in South Africa have sustained us through this past year of pandemic madness, a very disturbing political time in our country and personal family crises.
Some highlights--
warm, friendly, knowledgeable guides who obviously love and appreciate this beautiful country
rustic, authentic, yet comfortable, accommodations
well planned and orchestrated activities that filled our days with amazing experiences and numerous animal sightings (far beyond expectations)
meeting and making connections with people from all over the world and sharing delicious, home made meals with them as we discussed the days' adventures
and so much more...
I can't begin to adequately thank you for the most amazing adventure of a lifetime!!

Just perfect! Everything you need to arrange tour without problems and enjoyable
5/5

I had two tours with Meru Slopes, 4-day lodge safari and kilimanjaro materuni waterfall in Feb 2021. Everything with this agency was excellent. The price was ok, there were a lot of inclusions, Mr Geofrey was extremely responsiveness to our 1000 questions we have had, the hotels in safari were extremely good, all their personnel extremely carrying, open, and pleasant. Special thanks to Asantaeli, Godfrey, Nuru, Prica and Emanuel. Excellent team. The programs are well crafted and the organisation is perfect. I recommend this agency with full confidence. Thank you Meru Slopes.
