Excellent safari with Lappet Faced safaris
The company were great to deal with in advance in putting together the right itinerary. We saw everything we hoped to see on this trip and the accommodations were perfectly chosen.
The vehicle was clean and well maintained.
Naftal was a fabulous guide and host, from meeting us at the airport with smile, through all our game drives and lunches. Knowledgeable, friendly, well presented, and also a bird expert! Excellent for our trip.

Amazing time ! Saw the great 5 in one go!
We had excellent time in a 4x4 keep with our amazing driver and guide Ken.
We managed to see not only the five great animals from a very short distance but also some of the rarest ones such us Leopard and black rhino as well.
The camp was also nice and got the chance to feed baboons!
Only positive words for this amazing experience!

"My first trip at Aberdare National Park with Bovid Africa Safaris"
To be sincere enough, Bovid Africa Safaris you the best company keep it up.It was my first time to receive your services and actually i found to be the best ever, being my first time to visit Aberdare you can just imagine the anxiety that i had.
A day to, we were well prepared, early in the morning we were picked from our doorstep on time with my family and our journey set off.
A jovial, lovely,competent lady Diana Cherop Serem our tour guide of the day actually made our day just from the start upto the end,on the other hand Alex Mwangi our driver you the best driver your patience made us access each an every place at Aberdare.
Aberdare the place to be meeting various animals, various plants and great waterfalls made me to learn more, thanks Bovid for your services, the crew Diana and Alex keep it up. If you want to tour somewhere try Bovid Africa Safaris you will never regret.

Professional crew which loves what they do!
Setup: we booked a 5 days Mount Kenya trip (basic setup with tent) and a 9 day private safari in from mount Kenya to Diani Beach (more luxury than mid). Due to corona every was very quite and most resorts had only a few guests + we were alone on the mt. Kenya. So perfect time to enjoy yourself.
Tdlr: we loved it.
+ very experienced crew
+ because of the size of the org. fallback options
+ very good local network of the guides/driver (which is key to see game or sth unexpected happens)
+ you can (besides 100$) pay on arrival with a fair $/€ rate
+ easy and fast planning/communication via whatsapp
+ The owner matched us with a fun and very knowledgeable guide/driver who loves his job and lives and breathes game drives. We saw the big five and since he knows a lot of ppl you will have some special experiences a normal group wouldn’t have access to. We highly recommend you to ask for Kikitu as a guide!
Important note: keep in mind that on top of the costs for the booking following tips are expected by the crew: All per day for the group. 20$ For the mountain guide; 15$ for the cook and 10$ per porter (we had 3); for the driver/guide are no real recommendations but plan with at least 10$ per person per day. We also tipped 10$ per night for the resort crew.
Mt. kenya: We had a very experienced crew on the mountain with a great cook (crazy what Peter prepared on the mountain / don’t bring your own food on top...) and a guide (Charles) who was on top of everything + had the right feeling for attention. We liked how he handled the situation of lite altitude sickness. Be aware that most routes on the mountain include a 1000m climb on one day which is normally to much in these heights and often leads to headaches (or worse). So plan with a rest / light day. The tent was very good. Only recommendation - if you have already a nice and light mattress - bring it.
Safari: due to corona it was very quite where ever we went. Which means: few cars hunting one leopard, empty pools, very attendant bar keepers, best rooms/views in the lodges and dinner a la cart instead of buffet. Best lodge we had was “the cliff” esp. in terms of food and room. All other lodges where also outstanding in terms of views (game in front of your room/tent) and service (we could always choose between to when we planned the trip)! I could imagine that in normal time they are not so quite and the common areas could feel a bit more like a canteen in Disneyland.
We had a 4x4 car which you don’t need but was of course more comfortable and allows you to get to some points which wouldn’t be accessible otherwise.
We had 9 days and stayed in only two resorts for two nights. Since the distances between the parks a quite long (often 4-7h) we would recommend to do more 2 night stops and discuss the travel times with your agency when you book/plan - otherwise it can get quite exhausting. We took most of the time lunch to go to - to make the trip a bit more relaxed. We enjoyed the 9 days since all parks have a different scenery but probably 6-7 days would be enough to get a good overview and see most of the animals.

The 04 day Uganda Kidepo National Park Safari experience was full of joyous & memorable moments.
Kubwa Five Safari Ltd and the entire team including the driver, travel guide, game ranger were very helpful , calm and hospitable from the pick up on Thursday until the drop off on Sunday when our safari ended. We enjoyed quite an experience of game like Elephants, Buffalos, Elands, Uganda Kobs, giraffes , Zebras Bush bucks among others , beautiful natural ranges and a great cultural interaction with Lorukul Cultural Village members.

Was an amazing experience everything went on perfectly without any hiccups.
The trip was perfectly organised and planned by mr.johann Mwale with the best rates in the market.
We were even upgraded for free by the company into some beautiful cottages at aa lodge on a full board basis.
The vehicle provided a landcruiser was in top notch condition and our guide/driver mr.harun was perfect. Very patient and knew the mara very well.

A lifetime experience, amazing and unforgettable
I did a 5 days safari with them. We had a wonderful group of nice and funny people and our tour guide Malisa was I think the best tour guide you could ever wish for. He was so nice, funny and able to answer all of our questions. Due to him we were able to see all big fives... He told us to get up early so that we also get to see the more night active animals like the guepards. The food was great and the overnight stays in the Serengeti where the Hyenas joined us had been just incredible. During the night you could hear the hyenas laughing and the lions roaring as if they were just close to you. If your a wildlife fan, you shouldn't miss that opportunity. Even now when I see my pictures and videos I can't stop smiling. An experience I will never forget. Thank you so much for making this an amazing memory of my life.
