Our trusted agency to travel to Africa. Impeccable service
I have hired Mwajabu's services twice and each experience has been better than the last! The first time was in 2016, I did a Safari in Tanzania in the Selous NP with my husband and we were very well accompanied and always guided by Godlisen, our driver. There were very heavy rains that caused flooding in the hotel and thanks to Mwajabu's quick management and attention, we could stay in another hotel and not lose any day to enjoy the Safari. It was such and incredible experience that made me fall in love with Africa. So in August 2018 I returned, this time to go to Kenya and with a group of 6 friends. Of course, I called Mwajabu and she arranged everything. We were 5 days of Safari in Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru with our driver Dixon and the trip was perfect at all times. The organization for a group of 6 people, which is not easy, was impeccable and very professional. Without any doubts, we are waiting to be able to return and continue discrovering Africa with the help of our most trusted agency.

Excellent and satisfactory tour, very warm and helpful tour guide.
To begin with we were well coordinated from the beginning of our journey in the morning. Our guide had a well structured program that made the tour experience wholesome. We had stopovers that allowed us to take in various sceneries on our to the destination.
Once at Lake Nakuru National Park the entry process was seamless with a fun photo session at the gate.
The tour within was excellent, our guide helped us notice various views and wildlife we might have missed otherwise. We were treated to information on the wildlife that was both interesting and enlightening. Our time at Makalia falls was the crowning jewel of our trip. Lot's of fun and laughter.
I would highly recommend Bovid Africa Safaris to anyone considering a tour of nature and sight seeing in any park.
This is an experience worth having severally. Thank you Bovid Africa Safaris

Average
I did the 6 days safari. The parks are nice, it was a good experience, but I'm a bit disapointed about the tour operator.
Firstly, my plane was late, and I got blame for that because other people were waiting for me, but it's not my fault and nobody told me before the hour of departure of the tour, so I couldn't know.
Then, few times during the trip, we lacked of water and I had to insist to them to buy me some (it's supposed to be included).
The accomodations are very "basic", but it's the same for all tour operators within this range price.
The overall organization was pretty bad, I can understand it was during the COVID pandemy and it was harder to fill groups, but still.
I had to check the day by day program on Safaribookings otherwise the tour guide would have skip some parts.
The tour guide for the last part (Ambelosi) was from an other company and was pretty bad. He was not honest and just rushed the tour.
I guess if you want something really serious, you have to pay much more.

Overall it was a good experience but dealing with mechanical car failures is not ideal on vacation.
The overall experience was good but we had concerns with the lack of social distancing & mask wearing & sanitising throughout the trip. Considering the global crisis we are facing I would expect tour operators to do the most they can to ensure the safety of their guests. Our guide, for example, would stop to pick up random strangers next to the road & these individuals did not wear masks or anything of this sort but would drive with us for long durations. This was quite concerning.
In terms of the guiding & the park - this was great. The guide was knowledgeable and made extra effort to ensure we were able to view the animals as best we could.
It was very disappointing when the vehicle broke down on our last day. This meant we were unable to go into the park on the morning safari as scheduled. There was no alternative, no other arrangements to ensure we could still enjoy our morning drive. When the vehicle was finally fixed the guide suggested we immediately return to Nairobi while the vehicle was working as he didn't know whether it would break down again. So our whole experience was overshadowed by this. It is a once in a lifetime experience to visit the Masai Mara & to be told that we are unable to experience our last game drive was simply unacceptable.

Comfort In The Wild: Discovering Kenya's hidden gems!
Not only did Bovid Adventures live up to my expectations, but they exceeded them.
Our tour guide was professional, prompt and quite knowledgeable. He was attentive to our needs and accommodated all our questions with finesse. I learned so much more than I bargained for!
The beautiful sceneries, the rich scent of the lakeside, the hidden waterfalls we discovered, the game we watched in their natural habitat... It was an experience truly worth leaving my couch and telly for.
The tour truck was beyond comfortable, with provision to elevate the roof head and allow us better vision. Oh, did I mention they gave us binoculars to enhance visibility? Bovid for the win!
I recommend this agency 10/10. Anyone who is looking to explore the local sceneries in Kenya and loves a blend of comfort and adventure should engage them.
Thanks Bovid Adventures!

I had really wonderful time, I think it just can't be better
My husband and I just had really great time with Suricata Safaris! I feel like this company really cares about their customers experience. Our guide Rocky and our chef Chazz made every effort to make our safari comfortable and fascinating, I want to thank them a lot for that. We enjoyed it so much!
Now I'll describe everything step by step so you could make a decision yourself. We had a 5 day group safari with transfer, meal and accommodation included in February 2021.
When we got to Arusha Airport there was a driver waiting for us to get us to the hotel. At the hotel we met Hilary and he explained us the plan. The original plan was to visit lake Manyara, but because of the beginning of the wet season it was floody there. So he suggested to change our plan and to have Arusha national park instead with a walking tour included. That was really kind of him, because it wasn't the company's fault that the weather was bad, but he offered us, I think, more expensive option (because of the walking tour) and charged us no extra money at all. So after amending the plan was to visit Serengeti, then Ngorongoro, then Tarangire and then Arusha with walking safari. We were supposed to be in a group of 6 people for all 5 days but in fact we had a company only for 4 days, the last day was private (even though we didn't pay for it).
So the next day we met other tourists and our crew: the guide Rocky and the chef Chazz. I want to tell about the safari car, how comfortable it is. There are 6 seats for tourists and a small fridge, also you can open the roof, charge your phone, use free wifi and enjoy your safari. During the safari you will have very tasty breakfasts, lunches and dinners in camps and special picnic places.
So we got to the Serengeti national park and did a game drive for a couple of hours. Serengeti is an endless plane indeed. We saw a lot of lions, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, leopards and many other animals there. Then we went to the camp at 6 pm, because that is the rule in national parks.
I must say that I was really impressed by camping in all national parks, because there are good toilets, showers with hot water, free wifi (limited, but still), kitchen and dining place, also you can charge your devices there. We spent three nights sleeping in a tent, the company provides you the mattresses, pillows and sleeping bags, it was very comfortable.
The next day we woke up at 5 am to start our game drive in Serengeti, because many animals can be spotted at early hours. This day we saw almost whole "the big five", there was only the rhino left. The night we spend in a camp in Ngorongoro, there were a lot of buffalos feeding just very close to our tents during night, amazing!
The next day we also woke up at 5 am and started game drive in Ngorongoro Caldera. It is much different from Serengeti, but also very beautiful place full of animals. We saw buffalos, rhinos, elephants, flamingos and many others. After late lunch we went to the Masai village, where they showed us their dances and everyday life. This excursion took us about 30 minutes, cost 10 dollars per person and was quite interesting, but it's optional, you may not take it if you don't want to. We spend the night in Mto wa Mbu town in a camp lodge. This day was the last for two guys from our group, so there was only four of us left. Later we had a free excursion in this town. We saw rice fields, banana forest, visited local artists and Makonde tribe, tried some banana beer and wine. We really enjoyed it.
Next day we woke up not that early, at about 7:30 am, and went to Tarangire national park. This park is also different from those two we saw before. It's more like hilly area, there are a river and not dense forest. There are so many elephants in this park! Later we came to Arusha to have a sleep in a hotel. It was the last day for two other people. We had a dinner in this hotel at the restaurant, it was included in our tour also.
The next morning we had a game drive and a walking safari in Arusha national park. This park is more mountainous, the forest is quite thick there. The walking tour is very interesting because you can get really close to the animals, the feelings are just amazing! And during the game drive we spotted some black and white colobuses, they are really rare and you can only meet them in this park. This night we also spent in a hotel.
The next day we had a plane back from Arusha. The checkout time is 10 am, but we were allowed to stay longer, because our flight was after 3 pm. The company provided us a transfer to the airport. That was the end of our safari adventures.
In conclusion I want to say, that we had really pleasant time, we enjoyed every minute of this tour. The parks have a very developed infrastructure, there are all the amenities. And our guide Rocky was so cheerful, he had so many surprises for us, shared so much interesting information with us about nature, animals, country and citizens. I will definitely come back here in few years, and I hope I could have a safari with this guide, chef and company again.
