Amazing Private Safari
We did an incredible 7-day private safari to Masai Mara and Amboseli National Park , and it was an unforgettable experience.
Our journey began with great planning, thanks to Alex's prompt and clear communication. Upon arrival, we were fortunate to have Joseph as our guide. Joseph's in-depth knowledge of the region and animal behavior was truly impressive. He navigated the parks with expertise, ensuring we witnessed the entire Big Five in action, from elusive leopards to majestic lions, swift cheetahs, massive buffalos, and gentle giants like elephants.
Joseph's skill as a driver was equally remarkable. Opting for the Land Cruiser was a wise decision, and we were grateful for the comfort and safety it provided throughout our adventure.
Overall, our safari exceeded all expectations, and we owe this incredible experience to Alex and, of course, our outstanding guide Joseph. This journey will forever remain a cherished memory.

Perfect in every sense
We interviewed several travel consultants while planning for our first trip to South Africa. Our connection with Michelle was instant. She was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and quick to grasp our needs (vegetarian meals cooked without cross- contamination etc). Her recommendations, Simbambili lodge turned out to be way better than our expectations so also Oliver hotel in Nespruit. Transportation were seamless. Michelle made us available at any time of the day and always made us feel that we were talking to a friend. She cared to check on us at every stage to make sure everything was going perfectly smooth. Michelle works at much higher level than your average (travel agent) Joe and experience with her has made us start planning for another trip to different parts of Africa already! No Safari trip is cheap but if one puts the proper price for the service, we feel this was one of the best deals for money spent.

Johny, Kevin, and Khalifa were excellent tour guides. They went out of their way to meet the needs of the group and make sure that everyone was having a good time. They were always willing to share their knowledge of the area and the wildlife, and answer any questions we had. We saw the Big Five and more, and it was a great experience. 10/10 would definitely recommend !

Thorough, knowledgeable and kind.
We took a high school group on a 5 day safari and it was amazing. All parts of the trip were smooth. Great food and accommodations wherever we went. Our guides, Kevin, Johnny and Khalifa were all fantastic. We saw EVERYTHING on the Maasai Mara and we’re thoroughly impressed by the helpful nature our guides had in helping other groups out when needed. Lennox was always prompt and helpful answering our questions about the adventure allowing us to prepare appropriately. :)

Exceptional Uganda Experience and Guide
My wife and I recently returned from a wonderful 28-day combined birding and wildlife safari in Uganda led by our very talented tour guide, Paul, who is the owner of Terrain Safaris. If you are someone who loves nature, seeing wild life amidst breathtaking scenery, having unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime experiences like gorilla and chimpanzee trekking, then this is the dream trip you need to take.
And if you have an interest in birding, as we do, then prepare to be more spoiled by the variety and number of species of birds that you will have the opportunity to see. There are about 1,000 different species of bird that can be seen in Uganda, and in our 4 weeks, we were able to see almost 500 different species.
Every aspect of our trip was well planned. The lodges where we stayed ranged from clean basic accommodations to relatively plush lodges located in very scenic settings, based on what was available in the locations where we were touring.
We traveled in a Toyota Land Cruiser competently driven by our guide Paul. As is common in many African countries, many of the roads were unpaved dirt roads, so we were treated to the well-known "African Massage" that these dirt roads provided.
Paul is a talented knowledgeable guide in all respects. He is a calm, interesting, and very likeable person with a good sense of humor. As a birding guide, he is exceptional, with the ability to recognize almost 1,00 different species of birds by their calls alone, and to then quickly locate them even in densely vegetated habitats.
Perhaps the best compliment that I can give Paul is to say that as great as he is as a birding guide, he is even a greater person.
Obviously, we loved our unforgettable journey to Uganda, and we want to thank Paul and his company for making all of it possible.

One of the most incredible aspects of this Amboseli safari was the sheer diversity of wildlife I encountered. The open-air vehicles a spectacular view of the African savanna, and it wasn't long before we encountered our first group of elephants. Watching these magnificent creatures gracefully walk in mother nature was amazing. The knowledgeable guides shared fascinating facts about each species, enhancing our understanding and appreciation of the animals. Seeing these iconic animals in their natural habitat was a dream come true.
My safari experience was so transformative. It allowed me to connect with nature in a profound and deeply meaningful way. If you have ever dreamt of experiencing the untamed beauty of the Amboseli park, I wholeheartedly recommend embarking on a safari adventure. It's a journey that will leave you with memories to cherish for a lifetime and a newfound appreciation for the natural world.
I am looking forward to this awesome experience again. Truly unforgettable!
