One of the best trips in my life
5/5

Visiting Africa is always a little nervous thing to do. You hear a lot of disturbing stuff, that they would cheat you, take your money and disappear, that the timing is something next to non-existing, you'll lose a lot of your precious time arguing with the driver and so on... And most of it is true, but not with Mureithi Ephraim. He is one of the most reliable and precise person I've ever met. During our trip to Kenia everithing went exactly as we agreed, we saw all the parks, the car was there for us every morning, clean and with a supply of water. No extra charges. Mureithi himself knows a lot about the animals which can not be over-esteemated during a safari trip. We parted as best friends and still keep contact ib Facebook.
His company is the best choice for you in Kenia! And trust me, I know what I'm talking about as in Tanzania we missed Ngoro-Ngoro completely just because of an unprofessional driver. We missed Mureithi so much...

Best company for the perfekt Safari
5/5

We went on a 4 day safari in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater with Serengeti-Wakanda.

Bartho (the head of the organization) was super nice and very helpful and answered all our questions before the safari quickly.

Our guide Praise is an excellent driver and made sure we saw the Big Five multiple times over the four days. He told us the most important facts about each animal, answered all of our questions, was super nice and funny and made sure that we felt safe at all times.
We couldn't have imagined a better guide than Praise.

Our cook Dullah cooked super delicious for us every day. Our group consisted of vegetarians and non-vegetarians and there was a delicious selection for everyone.
It was one of our fellow travellers birthday on safari and he even baked a cake for her!

If you want to book a safari, then definitely with Seregeti-Wakanda!
The four days are definitely among the best of my life and I am sure that this was not my last safari with Serengeti-Wakanda!

Serengeti Wakanda is the best company you can find!
I already went on safari with a different company 2 years ago but nothing compares to Serengeti Wakanda. Everyone we met was beyond nice and helpful!
Our guide was Praise and our chef was Dullah, both extremely good at what they are doing!!! The food was always so delicious, I LOVED the bread and the soups, I wish I could eat Dullahs food everyday.
Praise knowledge about the wildlife and his driving skills are truly astonishing. The best guide we could have asked for.
Overall we had the best 4 days!
Asante sana ❤️

An experience of a lifetime
5/5

Look no further, because this is the safari company to book with!
We booked the 4-Day Camping Safari and couldn‘t be happier with how the trip went.

While booking the trip, Bartho (who is the owner of the company) was extremely nice and helpful with every question we had concerning our safari.

The Safari itself was just amazing and even better than we could have ever imagined.
Our guide Praise was very informative, fun and overall an amazing driver - because of the rainy season there were a lot of mudholes but he made sure we easily made it through all of them! We were able to see all of the Big Five several times and countless other animals extremely close up, which I am sure wouldn’t have been possible without the broad knowledge that Praise has about the animals and his ability to spot them from very far away.
Dullah, our chef, was so talented and consistently cooked great vegetarian options for us. You can tell by the food he cooks that he really loves what he does as well.

The camping sites where also chosen very well. We always felt safe while being so connected to nature, and the tents were very nice and comfortable as well.

A big thank you to all of the Serengeti Wakanda Team! The trip really was an experience of a lifetime and I hope I will be back very soon.

Very friendly and informative
5/5

It was a lovely experience. The tour driver was very friendly and informative. Me and my friends learned some new things on this tour and we're very happy for it. The tour driver was able to describe what we saw and answered our questions intelligently.
We were very happy with the experience and will definitely do it again. Thank you

Near the end of the dry season, most water holes attract few animals.

About: Tanzania
An incredible trip to Tanzania
Overall rating
5/5

My wife and I always wanted to take a safari to see African animals in their natural habitats. After extensive research to determine whether we go to Botswana, Kenya, South Africa or Zambia, we decided Tanzania had the largest concentration of animals in all of Africa in the smallest geographic area, it was easy to decide on Tanzania. We then researched safari tours of all types, and again, comparing many different companies' offerings, we determined that the tour offered by Lion King had an excellent 8 day itinerary which not only included lots of animal watching, also included nightly stays at tent lodges that were all amazing. We booked the tour, and went in January, when the temperatures are cool. Everything that the tour promised was exactly what was delivered. The safari was incredible. The tent lodges were like 5 star hotels with incredible views. Our tour guide and driver, in a very comfortable Toyota Land Cruiser, was could not have been more friendly and knowledgeable of where the animals would be. My wife and I are in our 70's, and we had no problems with this trip. The people of Tanzania, without exception, were kind, caring and wonderful to be with. Eight days of sunny days with about a 70 degree high. What are you waiting for? Go to Tanzania and have an experience you and your spouse, friends or kids, will never forget.

About: Tanzania
Tanzania is a Country of Many6 Contrasts
Overall rating
4/5

I ventured to Tanzania to work with a NGO and develop a proposal to help build sustainable food security for women and youth.

The countryside is impressive as is the work ethic of the people. I was especially intrigued by the customs and the value placed in livestock ownership.

I toured most of the country and am fascinated by its true potential to become a major African nation.

Travellers should bring an extra article of clothing to leave behind. It will be really appreciated by a recipient.

About: Tanzania
Gentle, charming, authentic.
Overall rating
5/5

We had four stops in Tanzania: two nights in Dar es Salaam, two nights in Stonetown, three nights in the Nyerere game reserve, and three nights in Paje. They added up to a fascinatingly varied experience. Tanzania, as we had been warned, is a poor country but with almost no violence or aggression. We did not have contact with anyone who was not friendly or helpful. There was none of the persistent and aggressive begging we encountered in Nairobi. Western observers might think that Tanzanians could do more to help themselves, by clearing up the mountains of litter everywhere, for instance, but their society seems to work for them. All four of the hotels we stayed in had very high standards and were immaculately run. They were very much part of the positive experience. The weather (and even the seawater - a big plus in my eyes) was intensely hot but somehow that was part of the overall picture. I cant speak more highly than to say that we are already looking at flight schedules to see if we can return at the same time next year.
