The most magical and unforgettable experience
We have had the most amazing safari with Serengeti African Tours. This was a long saved for trip we are 3 generations and 13 of us in total. It took a great deal of planning and Inviolata helped with the full booking process and was on help on whats app for what seemed like any time of the day or night. When we arrived we had 2 jeeps and our guides were Abu & Mathayo - they were simply amazing, their knowledge was incredible and we saw everything - big 5 ✅️. This was a mid range safari but felt like luxury. The accommodation surpassed all expectation each one different from the next. The tented in Lodge in the Serengeti was the coolest and scariest place I will ever stay in my life. This company is a small, independent, Tanzanian run business so please seriously consider for your safari. We have had an unforgettable experience and memories to last a lifetime. The drivers were professional, the cars were comfortable the entire route.
The service form the point of engagement was very professional and helpful. The cars are very suited for rough terrains and the drivers were patient at stopovers and even acted as tour guides all through.

Everything was planned very well, with all the things you need when you go on safari!
First of all, thanks to Green Hippos because of the good facilities. The jeep was comfortable and filled with all the musthaves for a safari. Also the schedule was perfect, we saw a great variation of landscapes and animals.
Beside that, I really want to thank our driver, named Clever. Clever is the driver you wish you’ll get when you book a safari. We were on safari with Clever for a whole week. This friendly man was always full of energy and excitement! Clever has also very much knowledge about the animals, trees, plants, nature processes, and all the other things you want to know! He really became a friend of us in this week. I’ll always recommend this guy to anyone, because he’ll make your safari a 10/10!

From our very first contact, Losim was professional, responsive, and made planning our itinerary easy. He answered all of our questions quickly and welcomed us in Arusha with thoughtful safari gifts, flowers, and a personal briefing before our adventure started. It immediately made us feel we had chosen the right company.
Our itinerary was perfectly organized and included a Tarangire walking safari, a game drive in Tarangire, several game drives in the Serengeti, a breathtaking Serengeti hot air balloon safari, a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater, and a visit to a Maasai village. To top it all off, we spent our last few days relaxing in Zanzibar, which was the perfect way to end an unforgettable trip.
The tented camps selected by Koju Safaris were excellent. They were comfortable, beautifully located, and gave us a true safari feeling. One of our favorite memories was lying in bed at night and hearing elephants and other wildlife just outside our tent—an experience we'll never forget.
Our guide, Humphrey, was outstanding. He shared so much about Tanzanian culture and everyday life, drove confidently through the parks, and his knowledge of the wildlife was exceptional. Thanks to his experience, we saw an amazing variety of animals, including a serval cat, and he always seemed to know where the chances of spotting animals like cheetahs were highest. We especially appreciated the respect he showed towards the animals and their natural environment.

Beyond our expectations
We had an incredible experience climbing Kilimanjaro with Joyful Safaris on the 8-day Lemosho Route. From the very beginning, everything was exceptionally well organized. The team took care of every practical detail, making us feel safe, well prepared, and supported throughout the entire journey.
A special thank you to our guide, Samuel, and our assistant guide, Nikson. Together with the rest of the crew, they did everything possible to make our climb as comfortable and enjoyable as it could be. Their professionalism, encouragement, and positive attitude made a challenging adventure feel much more manageable.
What impressed us the most was the dedication of the entire team. Every single person—from the guides and porters to the camp staff—worked incredibly hard, always with a smile and a genuine desire to help. Their kindness, attention to detail, and service mindset were truly exceptional and made us feel cared for every step of the way.
We would also like to give special recognition to the chef. We were amazed by the quality, variety, and taste of the meals he prepared every day, especially considering they were cooked at altitudes of over 3,000 meters. It was far beyond anything we expected and played an important role in keeping us motivated throughout the trek.
One moment that we will never forget was how the entire crew went the extra mile to celebrate my birthday on the mountain. They surprised me with a homemade birthday cake and gathered to sing for me, creating a truly special memory in such an extraordinary place. It perfectly reflected the warmth, thoughtfulness, and genuine care that the whole team showed throughout the expedition.
Unfortunately, we had to turn around at approximately 5,000 meters due to altitude-related challenges. However, this was in no way a reflection of the team’s efforts. On the contrary, we were extremely impressed by their professionalism and their unwavering commitment to our safety. As they repeatedly reminded us: “Safety and health above everything.” They made the right decisions, monitored us closely, and ensured that we always felt safe and supported.
Although we didn’t reach the summit, we still consider this an unforgettable experience, thanks to the outstanding team at Joyful Safaris.
