Great experience with a great professional team.
5/5

Many thanks for making such a trip possible. The organisation, the effectiveness, the planning and on top the guides and cooks were excellent. We felt so comfortable although being so far from home. Everything worked out in time and perfectly. We felt very safe and were treated like royals or VIPs.

A special thanks to our great guides during climbing journey. It was tough time for my friend and me and we always felt professional friendly support from our guides.

Once more, many thanks for all of the above mentioned but also the perfect service at the airport, both when arriving and leaving the country and kind regards from very happy clients.

Dreamlike safari with luxury lodges
5/5

We had a fantastic safari with Travel Wise Safari.
The entire support from Donald before, during and even after the trip ran smoothly and was perfect.
We would choose Travel Wise Safari again for our safari in Tanzania at any time and can wholeheartedly recommend the entire team, especially Donald, Amani as a German-speaking guide and Hosea!

Hands down, the best safari company and tour guides around
5/5

My family contracted Prime Safaris for our dream safari to Uganda. From the moment we began speaking with Cate at Prime Uganda, it was clear we were in good hands. Cate worked with us to craft an itinerary that provided daily one-in-lifetime experiences: gorilla tracking, walking safari, channel cruise and more. I don’t think I’ve ever seen *so many animals* in such short time. From the minute we entered Queen Elizabeth National Park, we spotted a leopard, warthogs, elephants, mongooses, hippos and water buffalo. Literally, within 15 minutes of each other!

Joseph, our guide, was an absolute masterclass in hospitality. He worked with every ranger, lodge concierge and porter to make sure we, our food, our rooms and our luggage were given the utmost care. He even spoke with the gorilla trackers to assign us to the closest confirmed gorilla family, as my mom was in poor health and otherwise wouldn’t have had the opportunity to track them with us.

In fact, we had to push our trip a full year due to a health scare; Cate was unbelievably kind and respectful of our situation. She worked with the lodges and the government to get all of our deposits applied to the following year, with no money lost despite the cancelled plans. She and Joseph made this trip the best adventure we’ve ever taken.

If you’re reading this, do yourself a favor and book with Prime Uganda!

Great budget-safari
5/5

Really nice budget safari trip. Both the game drives and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. Would like the locals to give us a few heads up for the scams along the way and recommend which optional activities we should not waste money on. Other than that, really unforgettable experience.

About: Viatu
Good support and outstanding holidays
4/5

Its the second time that I planned a trip with Viatu and I can still recommend the agency.
Last year I went to Bali and the experience was excellent.
Due to the great support of our Bali Expert (Alisha) I had high expectations this time and was looking forward.
Last year the experience was brilliant, this year it was good. Reasons:
- I had a very nice call for the initial planning with the local expert and she promised to make a further appointment 6 weeks before the journey starts for talking about the detailed agenda. This unfortunately never happened and I missed a bit the effort and personal component in the end
- There were some things that could have been planned better (e.g immediately after the arrival and 11 hours flight, the recommendation of starting the journey with a hike is not the best idea imo.)
- In Bali we got a surprise by our local expert: a romantic sunset massage and have several times been asked, how our days have been. this time there was no surprise and until today I have never heard again from our contact person. A bit sad actually…
BUT- the service via what’s app was great and the Viatu team answered very quickly to our questions and supported us very well (e.g in booking a table in restaurants or in reserving a rental car spontaneously)
Overall it was a beautiful trip with great accommodations and activities and I will plan trips again with Viatu.
South Africa is beautiful, with super good food, clean water, amazing beaches, nature and animals. We will definitely come back to this outstanding country.
Super friendly people and a great value for money.

Review of Likana Safari in Rwanda and Uganda with Guide Andrew
5/5

I recently returned from an unforgettable 10-day safari in Rwanda and Uganda, and I can confidently say that it was an experience of a lifetime! Our guide, Andrew, played a crucial role in making this trip absolutely perfect. From start to finish, everything was smooth, well-organised, and thoroughly enjoyable.

Itinerary Highlights:
Throughout our journey, we explored the breathtaking landscapes of both countries. We started in Rwanda, where we visited Volcanoes National Park and went on a trek to see monkeys. I liked how the trek prepared me for the gorilla trek.

Next, we ventured into Uganda, we had an incredible gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Witnessing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat is something I will cherish forever. The guide, porters and trackers knowledge and passion for wildlife truly enhanced the experience.

We explored Queen Elizabeth National Park and each day was filled with exciting game drives, boat safaris, and memorable encounters with animals ranging from elephants, leopards, giraffes, and lions and their cubs to diverse bird species. Andrew knew all the best spots to maximise our sightings, and his keen eye ensured that we saw everything there was to see.

Service and Care:
The outfit along with Andrew’s attention to detail and genuine care for our comfort made all the difference. He was always punctual, ensuring that we never missed an opportunity. His patient and friendly demeanor created a warm and inviting atmosphere. It felt more like traveling with a knowledgeable friend than a guide.

We were provided with delicious meals and lovely accommodations during our travels.

Final Thoughts:
Overall, my 7-day safari with this company was a seamless blend of adventure, education, and relaxation. The diversity of wildlife and stunning scenery in Rwanda and Uganda are truly unparalleled, and having such an excellent guide made it all the more special. If you’re considering a safari in this region, I highly recommend seeking out this company . You won’t be disappointed! This trip has left me with memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you to both Bonny and Andrew, for an amazing adventure!

Price: Unbeatable!

The value for this safari was truly exceptional. Also, as Canadians, we're accustomed to tipping for excellent service, so we made sure to express our gratitude to everyone who contributed to making our trip memorable, including the porters, trackers, and guides. Their dedication and expertise genuinely enhanced our experience.

More than a company, a family
5/5

The safari we took last year with Termite Tour was an unforgettable experience. From our first contact with Benji, the owner and guide of the company, we knew we were in good hands. Not only is he an incredibly knowledgeable professional when it comes to wildlife and parks like Serengeti and Ngorongoro, but he is also a warm and approachable person who quickly made us feel at home.

The safari was private, just my wife and me, which made the experience even more special. We were accompanied by a private chef who prepared delicious meals in the middle of nature, making every moment unique. What impressed us the most, aside from the incredible biodiversity and landscapes around us, was the opportunity to learn about the local culture and customs, all presented with respect and authenticity.

Benji was not just an expert guide but became a friend throughout the journey, always attentive and eager to share his passion for nature and wildlife. We felt very well cared for at all times, and thanks to Termite Tour, we were able to enjoy a one-of-a-kind safari. We 100% recommend this company to anyone looking for a personalized, unique, and deeply enriching experience.
We’re waiting for you in Spain, Kaka!

Great experience
5/5

I traveled in January 2025 with Exotic Travel Centre (3,5 days privat tour). The company was very responsive and professionel from start to finish. I had a fantastic trip and I saw a lot of exciting animals and scenery. We were in Tsavo East, Tsavo West and Amboseli. The highlight for me was probably the Mount Kilimanjaro with the endless grasslands in front of. My driver Steven did everything he could to find the animals when the rarer species hid. He was generally a funny and nice guy and at the same time very professional. The Safari bus was not new, but in a good condition. Manager Anna was always tried to help wherever she could.
I can only recommend the company. The trip was a great experience.
