Excellent Trip! Would definitely choose them again!
We have 14 people in the group, they definitely manage it well. Our drivers are Charles and Dexter. We really enjoyed our trip with them. I followed Charles’ car most of the time. He is very talented in finding animals and he is a super experienced driver who drives safely! He has a good knowledge of the Savana and animals and he is a very good teacher, answering all of our questions during the game drive patiently. I personally learned a lot and developed great interest to learn more. Our group agreed that we would go back and choose them again! Thank you Charles and Dexter!

I had the chance to go on a safari with Joseph and his team in February 2025, and everything was perfect! The lodges were superb, our guide Dennis was excellent, and the accompaniment throughout the stay was great. Joseph and his team offer high quality services, and if I have to go back to Kenya, it will be with them. I highly recommend!

Wonderful experience and awesome safari
We booked a private camping safari with Serengeti Wakanda. There were five of us on safari for six days. It was an incredible experience and we would recommend Serengeti Wakanda to everyone. The tour is extremely well organized, and we visited the best national parks. We visited Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater.
Special thanks go to our guide Zepha, and our chef Dullah. With over 10 years of experience as a guide Zepha was able to show us the best spots. He was able to name every animal and answer all our questions. He also waited patiently at each spot until we had taken all our pictures. Thanks to him, we found the Big 5, witnessed three hunting scenes and had a tremendous amount of fun.
Dullah provided us with delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners every day. It was amazing what elaborate dishes he prepared for us while we were camping. Dinner was always an excellent three-course menu with European and African dishes. Thanks to his Magic Box, there was even freshly baked bread every day.

Amazing Company and Drivers (James and Lawrence)
Before our trip, we compared offers from numerous safari companies, and Marurumi Safari stood out by far as the best choice. They impressed us with their quick and high-quality responses, a detailed and well-thought-out itinerary, and a highly competitive price.
Our safari lasted 6 days: 2 in Amboseli Park, 1 at Lake Naivasha, 1 at Lake Nakuru and 1 in Masa Mara (last day was travelling back to Nairobi)
Our guides, James (for Amboseli park) and Lawrence (for the remainig part), were fantastic! They were incredibly friendly and passionate, providing engaging and insightful commentary about the animals we encountered. Their expertise truly enhanced our experience—they always seemed to know the perfect spots and times to position the vehicle, allowing us to get remarkably close to the wildlife. On several occasions, animals passed right by our car, making for unforgettable moments.
Overall, we highly recommend Marurumi Safari—it’s excellent value for money, and the experience was absolutely top-notch!

Flexible and professional
I went to Samburu National Reserve with Green Places Adventures on a three-day private safari. It really was three days, even with the long drive from Nairobi we managed a good long game drive the first evening and the same again on the final morning. Everything was very easily organised by email, Elijah in the office always responded quickly and was very helpful and efficient. The trip itself was really good value and everything was excellent, a problem with a mysteriously draining battery in the vehicle overnight for example was quickly resolved and no time was lost. I am a birder so I wanted to look at slightly different things to a typical customer, I sometimes asked for very frequent stops and to look in places safari vehicles maybe wouldn't typically go, and this was all fine and no problem at all for Jackton, my driver / guide, who was fantastic. On the final day, with a long drive ahead and potentially late finish in the evening, there was no rushing or pushing to leave. The camp, Samburu Riverside Camp, was 'no frills' but lovely, great staff, great simple food, really comfortable bed, no complaints there at all. Thank you all, it was a really memorable tour.

I came with a group of friends and we all had wonderful time.
Dexter speaks excellent English and easy to talk too. He’s also a great driver who always finds perfect photo spots for us. I had some of great pictures taken because of his help.
We had such great time in Kenya and saw all big fives the second day when we’re arrived. Thanks to Dexter and Charles.
I’ll definitely see Dexter again if I ever come back!

I arrived in Tanzania on Sunday 23 February, and had a plan but nothing booked. The next day I got a business card from someone at a local supermarket in Moshi who organised a hike up Kilimanjaro and safaris. I checked online that evening and made contact and booked a hike that started 2 days later. The hike via the Marangu route was an unforgettable 5-day experience. Led by guide Rama and with the help of great cook Goodman and helper Luca, it was excellently organised. I reached the top and am richer in experience. Thanks for that! When I got back, I indicated that I also wanted to do a safari and that was quickly arranged. The safari to Maswa Game Reserve, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater was also excellently organised with delicious meals and a guide who made sure that we saw all the animals and drove beautiful routes. Thanks again! In short, book with these people and you will have a great time!
