Such a great experience with so many kind and helpful staff.
Since the moment I arrived all the staff (safari guides, cooks and the tour operator customer assistant) were so kind and friendly!
They really tried their best to let us see the big 5 and get the most of our time!
Their lodge was exceptional and very clean.

Super efficient, informative, helpful and friendly!
We had a wonderful experience booking our trip with Sister Safaris. Everything ran smoothly and was efficiently organised. There was a great line of communication the whole time if we had any questions. We felt like we were in good reliable hands and were getting the best value for our money. Great holiday! Would do it again!

Great experience
We've booked a 12-days tour in Kenya and Tanzania with Wild Race Africa Tours. Our route was Nairobi - Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara - Serengeti - Ngorongoro - Lake Manyara - Amboseli - Nairobi.
First we hesitated because of the pandemic situation we are living right now - but we didn't regret our desicion. Simon answered all our questions we had prior to the journey and with Alex we had the perfect guide in Kenya. Alex wellcomed us at the airport and cared very good for us. He is a great troubleshooter and you are lucky to have him as a guide. We've learned a lot about the places we've visited and about the country and its people. Also in Tanzania we had a great guide with China and his son Shidi.
We were concerned about the border crossing Kenya-Tanzania-Kenya, but with the help from our guides everything went smoothly. For every border crossing a negative PCR test was required, as well for the return flight from Kenya to Europe. So keep in mind to calculate... Read more the waiting time for the results.
We booked a budget tour, but at some places we upgraded to a mid range lodge. It's great that you can customize your tour the way you like it. Normally we are individual travelers - it was our first experience with a organized tour. We enjoyed to just sit back - and don't worry about were to sleep or eat next. The organization was perfect - the food was yummy - the lodges were fine too! So we could 100% focus on the beautiful nature and spotting wild animals.
If you think about doing a safari in this complicated times, but you're unsure about all the covid regulations - I really recommend to do it. Of course it's a bit more complicated and bureaucratic - but it definitely is worth!

Unvergessliche 3 Tage Safari in Serengeti und Ngorongoro
All in all, it was a great and unique experience that everyone should have!
From booking to implementation, everything went perfectly. Humphrey answered all of our questions about our trip in advance and made it possible for us to run smoothly.
Due to all the incoming tourists, we only got out of the airport after more than two hours. Nevertheless, our driver Mr.T was extremely understanding and always friendly.
He always had an open ear and helped us with every one of our concerns. E.g. we wanted to have a SIM card for the vacation in Tanzania. Despite the fact that we had a long excursion to Materuni Village (highly recommended) and it was already late when we got back, he went out of his way to get us a map. So in the evening a lady came to us at the lodge and we got our SIM :)
We also got a briefing for the next day every evening.
After our excursion on the first day to the Materuni Village, where we visited a breathtaking waterfall and attended a coffee... Read more ceremony, the safari started. Camping in the middle of the wilderness is an experience in itself that is and will remain unforgettable! Our guide Msupa was simply an asset and we all saw the Big Five :)
The food was delicious, but vegetarians and vegans should explicitly say what they want. Otherwise, every meal is served the same.
Still, the safari was just beautiful!
Thanks to the whole team of the Cubs Expeditions for an incomparable experience in Tanzania ❤️

10/10 would recommend
Simon was great in helping organize and arrange everything for our 5 day private safari. He even arranged something special as we were celebrating an engagement. Our driver/guide Daniel really made the trip too. Very knowledgeable and friendly and was always quick to get us towards the animals we most wanted to see.
The value for our money was great and next time we are looking to book a safari would book again

Namibia: Lark Journeys is the BEST!
I booked a 10-day Private Tour with Lark Journeys. I am a very discerning traveler that books many corporate and personal trips for my boss, so I have tons of experience with agents and companies, but booking in Africa can be tricky. Lark Journeys was professional and thorough from the first email. Claire was very quick with her responses (even though a 6-hour time zone difference). She answered ALL my questions (and I had a lot of them). As a solo female traveler, she understood some of my concerns about safety and addressed them all. She prepared for me trip that checked all my must-haves and made great recommendations every step of the way.
Greg was my host and guide and I could not have asked for anyone better to show me Namibia. He is patient, thoughtful and delivers excellent customer service. We had great chats as we traveled down the road or sometimes he allowed me to just soak in the beauty of Namibia's ever-changing landscapes. I always felt safe with him driving... Read more hours down dirt roads and I cannot say enough good things about him and Lark!
If you have never been to Namibia, run don't walk to plan a trip! If you are looking for a top-notch company to help you plan, I cannot recommend Lark Journeys more highly as they over delivered a most spectacular holiday for me! Namibia has so much to offer, from games drives, to amazing sunsets, to other-worldly landscapes that don't stop impressing you. You get so much more than 'just a safari' with Namibia and with Lark you get excellence at planning your great adventure!

Gosheni for the Win
If there was a sixth star, Gosheni would have it. This Safari tour was by far the most epic and luxurious adventure I have been on. I traveled to Tanzania with three of my best friends, we’re all big travelers and adventurers, but usually do more low-fi camping/frugal world traveling. This tour was worth ever cent. We did tons of research beforehand on different companies, comparing many in this region, and Gosheni was the clear winner after a bit of sleuthing. When we arrived and started touring we immediately proved ourselves right. In terms of overall value and transparency of the costs, as well as their care for our experience and take away of the trip, they took the cake. Their level of professionalism, kindness, and knowledge is astounding.
Our guide William was extraordinary. Beyond his expansive knowledge of the animals and nature all around, his excitement and fervor for finding them with us made it all the more fun. He’s been guiding for over 14 years, and he approaches... Read more every day like a new adventure. His attitude toward his work and life was inspiring. He is funny, sweet and great to be around.
We were like a family wandering in the wild. We struck a great balance of hakunamatata vacation mode and finding the punctuality of being up and out to be where we needed to see many animals and the great migration. I can’t believe the amount of diverse wildlife we saw out there.
Belinda was fabulous in helping us organize what we should see and how to set the path for our trip. We were so well taken care of, and I couldn’t imagine putting together an itinerary for all the places we visited and how much we saw. We had loads of questions while we were planning and she was very patient and in depth with her responses before we even booked with Gosheni.
The touring vehicle was a very comfortable Toyota Land-cruiser. Considering we basically lived in it for 7 days, it was the adventure car of our dreams. It felt super safe, and the seats were comfy, even when we were off-roading and gosling about. Plus there was a fridge in the car we could put snacks and keeps waters cold. William is an excellent driver through this terrain. I’ve done a bit of off roading in the states with my partner and know how throttling it can feel - he made us feel completely at ease and was always checking in on our comfort levels and if we needed anything.
The accommodations and “camping” exceeded my expectations of luxury. That being said, camping is not quite the right word for our palatial dwellings in the middle of Tanzanian wilderness. Hot showers and baths, running water and toilets in each tent. Incredibly plush beds and delicious hot meals, surrounded by beautiful views at every turn. The staff at every camp was so attentive and kind and wouldn’t let us lift a finger. During safari, the food was just wonderful. We had gorgeous, multi-course picnics every day with table clothes, wine and fresh juice to boot. Two of us are vegetarian and they were excellent about catering to all of our individual edible desires.
This is by far the trip of a lifetime. I highly recommend you afford yourself the the distinct privilege of going with Gosheni, and William being your guide.
