Eye opening
The 5 day private safari for 4 at the Kruger National Park was awesome. Not only did we see a large variety of animals in their natural environment, we were also very fortunate to have had Shoes Mathebula from Khalanga Safaris as our guide because he pointed out and explained many aspects of animal behaviour to us, which enriched the whole experience. Besides that he also prepared ‘local’ meals for us which we enjoyed and the accommodations in the parks were very comfortable . Having never been on safari before, we did not know what to expect but we came away rating the Kruger safari as one of our best holiday trips. Besides the safari, we also spent 3 days in Cape Town which was not enough to appreciate what it had to offer. Having been warned about security issues, we were careful and attentive and did not have any problems during our self drive around the scenic costal route . Our stay at the V&A waterfront was exceptional for the ambience and proximity to food and shopping. I would recommend South African as a holiday destination.

Local company that can show you the non-touristy places - we had the best experience!
My family and I went on a seven days tour with destination specialist in January 2023. The very experienced guides took us to see small villages and on safari. We had the best days we could have wished for. All the guides were very kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the animals, culture and history of Tanzania.
Since destination specialist is a local company we were able to get some amazing experiences in places that tourist do not normally go. One guide took us to his home town a Maasai village in the mountains. It was tailored for our needs and we got to see a perfect mix of safari, local culture and history on the tour.
I like that the company is local and hire local people so we were not supporting a large overseas company. The price was also very fair compared to other operators. Will give my best recommendations for destination specialist.

A trip worth revisiting. Punctual pick up times to all the safari parks in the region between zimbabwe(hwange game park) and chobe in botswana over 4 days was a dream for me and tamuka saw it through. A reliable group worth every penny.

This past September marked our second visit to South Africa and our second time utilizing the services of Matthew Grace - African Safari Guru. Amazing !!! More than a dream
Amazing !!! It was even better than i expected. We saw all the big 5 animals and more, our guide Ezechiel was very helpful and answered all of our questions. He is a experienced guide who knows where to find animals and he is always in good mood so you wont be bored

Fantastic safari!!!
Meru Slopes provided us with very well organized and incredible tour. We booked it about 2 months in advance (we were in November 2023). As most people, who planned it for the first time, we had a lot of questions but Geofrey, a head of the company, was very open to answer any question we had. He also helped us to book later trip in Lushoto. It is worth to trust them. Their offer has no hidden costs and standard of the service is on highly professional level. The safari was amazing!!! Thanks to our guide Modi we learnt a lot about local fauna and saw much more animals than we expected. He is our animal spotting hero

Knowledgeable and provided all the things we needed
5 women went on Safari with Serengeti Smile and our tour guide John Paul. Serengeti Smile handled all of our logistics while John handled our every day needs. John was outstanding and had a truck full of 5 women to accommodate. He did that with an amazing smile and incredible knowledge everyday. He answered all of our questions, stopped where we wanted, let us watch as long as we wanted, kept us safe, and kept us moving.
I can’t suggest this company and especially John enough! I wish I could come back every year!

Perfect!
We loved the 3 days safari beside that we don’t saw lions (simba) like they say :). Besides that it was a magic and an unforgettable experience. The sound of the birds, the nature and all the animals in her pure natural environment such a beautiful moment. We appreciated the comprehension, the attention and the communication with Justin. We loved our safari guide Elihakim, he told us so many interesting things about the animals. We had so much knowledge about them and the nature.
