If you are looking for a safari tour, Karibu Safaris is recommended. Mr. Castro who was our tour operator was very entertaining. They spent hours trying to show us as many rare moments of animals as possible. And the driving technique was excellent, showing the animal at the closest and best point of any car. Thank you Castro. The inn run by the Maasai tribe was also very enjoyable. The tent was comfortable and the conversation with the Maasai tribe was very humorous and fun. It was the most memorable and fun tour of my life.

We can fully recommend to climb the Kilimanjaro with the almighty Team. The organisation off-mountain as well as on the Mountain was perfect. The communication with the Almighty director Rashid was easy via Mail and WhatsApp. He answered our questions fast and was flexible with our wishes like date of departure and extra nights in the Hotel before or after the climb. On arrival we were picked up on time by our driver Raphael, who also showed us the town of moshi the next Day and drove us back to the airport on our last Day. At the salinero Hotel, where we had a relaxing stay with delicious breakfast and Dinner before and after the climb, Rashid introduced us to our head guide Emanuel. Before departure, Emanuel checked our luggage to see if anything is missing. With Emanuel, the assistance guide Issa, the chef Martin and the porters Feya, Haji, Youness, Kelvin, Julius and Kanaa, we had an amazing time on the Kilimanjaro. Emanuel and Issa made the trip very enjoyable, despite the sometimes tiring hikes, and were like friends to us. They are very knowledgable about the flora and fauna of kilimanjaro. They made us reach the peak by their constant Motivation and help with even carrying our daybags in the long and strenous summit night. The Chef Martin prepared delicious breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and even snacks in the afternoon, so we were never hungry. Our tent was large enough for the two of us and equipped with mattresses as well as a table and two chairs. All in all, we had a great time under the guidance of Emanuel and the whole almighty Team and would recommend it to people who are looking for an adventure and don't mind the hardships of climbing a 5895m tall mountain.

6 days Kilamanjaro - incredible
Last week we set off on a 6 day route with Mafie Adventures on Kilamanjaro. This has been one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Although I did struggle each day, the amazing guides Oliver & John were always able to put me at ease. I would not have been able to get to the top if it wasn't for these two incredible men. Our entire experience with Mafie was brilliant. They have a brilliant team full of reassurance along with amazing chefs and porters. I will definitely use this company again or recommend to others. Great value with high quality. Highly recommended
We were keen to get a reasonably priced yet high quality tour and Home to Africa delivered. On our safari, we saw chimpanzees, gorillas and lions up close, as well as many more animals. Our driver, Brian, was knowledgeable and great company; the lodges were clean and very well maintained, food was delicious and plentiful and we had no complaints. As well as the gorilla and chimp treks, three game drives were included in our 4 night tour. More expensive safaris do the same treks, so I highly recommend Home to Africa. Also, all lodges were Ugandan owned.

An unforgettable experience!
For some years it was high on my list to go with my daughter (12 years old) travelling, to let her see elephants in the wild. This year was the year, we went to Tanzania with Altezza Travel to Tanzania and it was an unforgettable experience. For me to see how my daughter is experiencing her great adventure, I will never forget it and I am very grateful for having these memories now. I booked a private safari of 4 days, Simon was our guide and driver, we were fortunate to be in his company, we not only enjoyed his professionality but also we had a very good time together and I thank him very much for giving us this experience! We visited 3 parks;
Tarangire National Park, were we saw elephants for the first time! Ngorongoro Conservation Area (which is inside an unactive volcano) and Serengeti National Park, here my daughter also celebrated her 12th birthday at The Sound of Silence, at diner the entire Sound of Silence team came singing and dancing for her, you should see her face! Unforgettable!!! Thank you, Jan (owner) and your entire team, for such a hart warming birthday celebration!!
After the Serengeti back on the East African Highway for an African massage (because according to Simon, it is the worst highway in Tanzania, it is a very long dirt road), were we spent our last night at Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge. The next day we continued our journey to Zanzibar for more amazing experiences.

This was an incredible safari! First and foremost, Hyrax Safaris leading up to our game drives, was highly professional, responsive, and flexible based on our unique requests. They were highly accommodating, making our experience that much more memorable.
Secondly, Ben, our safari tour guide, was exceptional during our game drives by providing informative facts about animal behaviors, spotting unique animals, and putting us in a position to get the best angle of the animals. Additionally, Ben was knowledgeable regarding all the routes and roads in the mara triangle and the mara river conversancy. It helps to know you have an expert tour guide who knows the roads, as you can go days without finding the animals you want to see during the game drives (I.e., Cheetahs, Leopards).
Overall, this was a great experience, and we highly recommend Hyrax Safaris to anyone looking for a unique experience with never forgetting moments you can take home with you.
