Great, very helpful
Great deals and Janine is very helpful. I loved the fact that they also included a list of what to pack to make sure you are ready for anything and have a great experience too. The lodge was amazing, good welcome by the staff. Overall I had an amazing time, staff takes care of you, whatever you want, they are super nice, just amazing. I'll definitely use Gems of Africa a lot.

Fantastic safari! Reliable company.
We were on a 4-day family safari with Altezza and visited Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti. This is not the first time we visited Africa. I have worked for a long time in a number of countries on the continent, and I know firsthand how difficult it is to organize anything at all here. The guys from Altezza did that just brilliantly! Obviously, they enjoy their work. We had a competent English-speaking support team (special thanks to Julia for providing antimalarial prophylaxis!). Their choice of lodges, safari guide, technical condition and the car - everything is at the highest level! Not a single slip in 4 days, fantastic for Africa! Safari guide Omay was very polite and professional! Also, with his help we found the Big Five and the Great Migration ... Thousands of antelopes and zebras crossing the Grumeti river is certainly a sight to behold! In general, both the vacation and the tour operator exceeded all expectations. I will definitely recommend Altezza to my friends. Should I ever visit Tanzania again, the question of choosing a tour operator is solved for me. Thanks for everything you did! Good luck and prosperity!

Safari in Tanzania
Thanks to Altezza Travel for the excellent safari organization in Tanzania. Everything was done without delays, we had a very good guide and wonderful lodging in the parks. We were very worried, since it was our first trip to Africa, but eventually everything was amazing.

Not professionnal or serious enough
I booked two different safari tours with this company. I had to pay cash for the 2 tours and the tour operator applies a strange conversion rate (440$ -> 48400 KES). I did'nt complain at the time.
The first tour was a 3 days in Masai Mara tour - safari joining group : it went quite well, especially thanks to our guide James who really did his best to help us find the Big Five.
However, we didn't get water as planned on the website. When I asked the company, they put responsability on the guide.
The second tour was a One Day solo in Amboseli: the guide was supposed to pick me up at 5am at the hotel. He arrived at 5:40 because of a technical problem with the car. This car was so old that it was already amazing that it could still drive. The first guide drove at a gas station and I had to wait for another 15 minutes for a second driver to come and pick me up. A lunch box was supposed to be included so we could have lunch in the park but it was'nt. So we headed to the park and had nothing to eat before 5 pm, at a gas station, when we came back to Nairobi.
When I wrote to the tour operator to complain and ask for compensation, they didn't even bother to answer and at least apologize.
I know I booked cheap tours, but even when it's cheap you can expect the basic professionalism from a tour operator.
