Well done, despite the lack of actual camping!
I probably wouldn’t have used this company if not for the effort and attention to detail by Anita, my point of contact. She was really professional and helpful, beyond what was expected.
The safari was good. I’m not particularly a fan of organized group tours but I did enjoy myself. I think many safaris are probably similar since the routes are shared and guides/drivers communicate with each other to converge on the leopard or whatever was spotted. The drive to arrive at the first parks is slow... the drive back on the last days is much faster... yes, I mean the actual speed. Not my style, but be prepared for them to stop at those touristy places on the side of the road that sell crafts or a visit to a village where you can pay for the Maasai to sing and dance for you...
Due to the possibility of rain and we stayed at lodging rather than camping, despite the absence of actual rain. Everybody was very pleased with a shower and a bed- although I would have preferred actual camping. There were fire pits that were not used- and evenings were pretty much eat and go to bed... perhaps with a more lively group or escort (some were sick) it would have been good to have at least one evening of extended conviviality.
The food was certainly a step above the boxed lunches I observed in other groups. Don’t expect strong flavors, spices or rich meals; it will be bland for some, including myself, but I understand this approach is to please the majority. That said, our chef, “Dullah”, is quiet but always pleasant in demeanor and did really very well in preparing good and healthy meals with limited resources.
Our guide/driver Lucas, as well as Dullah, seemed to give the group a certain space, but were always on call if needed. Lucas, was somewhat aloof, but always courteous. What makes Lucas really shine as a guide is his extensive knowledge of the wildlife which surpassed my expectation. He knew just about every single mammal, bird, and even the plants, and not just the common ones. On the rare occasion he wasn’t sure, he knew exactly where to confirm in the wildlife guide book. I ended with a list with well over 60 different species.
Overall; I recommend! They’re good people, and you will have a great experience.

Enojoyable and simply amazing!
Hello folks,
Im a professional tour guide. I have met many tour operators around Africa and Asia during all the years. So I dare to compare. And I have to say, that Mr. Peter from Kibera Holiday Safaris is probably the most experienced guide I have worked with. Every each game ride has slightly different theme and we have seen other animals or even ecosystem. He is also genuine easy going person and wiling to show all the difrences of enviroment in ceratin area. I have just good memories and experiences. For sure I want to cooperate only with Kibera Holiday Safaris each time I will be guiding in beautiful Kenya!

Kenya and Tanzania Safari
We finally got to write your review, thanks for the reminders.
There it was- that familiar joy and excitement of receiving my flight confirmation email in my inbox. Although that sense of joy was accompanied by a hefty side order of apprehension. Is it a good decision? Is the Safari offer worth it? I’m I being irresponsible? What it I get covid? In true World escapes form , Paul and team had anticipated my apprehension and took many steps to reassure me as they proposed a 14 day safari tour of Kenya .Tanzania with Zanzibar. Plans were put into place to receive us upon arrival in Nairobi and to to take us on Safari. Although we had challenges adjusting to the rough roads and in a minibus in Kenya, Tanzania proved more rewarding in terms of comfort. We are putting up a blog about our experience. We shall be back.

Serengeti in 3 days.
My husband and I did a 3 day short safari to Serengeti with this safari outfit. Mr. Ngueso, our Tanzanian tour driver / guide was very rapid with replies, with a great deal of information and cautious in driving. He did a fantastic job on time management and was also a polite person.
We spent two nights at the explore nature lodge, highly recommended. We saw all the big five on the first day; thanks to Coleb, the consultant who put this memorable trip together. I'm coming back after the pandemic to explore more amazing parks in Tanzania's northern circuit.

The Safari you dream about
We had a once in a lifetime experience! Nestory, is the best safari guide, knowing all the ideal spots for sighting the big 5 and was a wealth of knowledge when it came to the animals and the Serengeti land. Our chef, Calvin, made some of the best food we had during our stay in Africa. Seven Wonders staff were extremely accommodating and made our experience smooth and unforgettable. We highly recommend them and their team!
Many thanks,
Alex, Steve, Darius

A great 6-days safari experience for a reasonable price
My son and I had got safari offers from different providers and decided finally for choosing a 6-days safari with Safari Soles Tours. Bryson, the manager convinced us by good and precise communication via email and WhatsApp. He always answered all my questions quickly and accurately. That made a very good impression. Bryson is also an interesting person to talk to and can tell you a lot about his country.
The safari itself also turned out to be a good choice: everything was very well organized and thought out. We visited the four most beautiful national parks in northern Tanzania and saw a lot of wild animals, birds and beautiful nature.
Lucas, our tour guide / driver did his best to give us lots of information about every animal we saw. He had three encyclopedic reference works in his jeep (animals, birds, plants with pictures and English names) and was able to tell us about anything that interested us.
We loved Abdullah the chef. The meals were excellent. For lunch there was hot meals every day, no cold lunch boxes. That was the dinner that was a real highlight: Not only the food itself but also its presentation by Abdullah - he appeared in his chef's uniform and solemnly announced the dishes. This gave the whole safari tour a luxurious and exclusive character.
Maybe that was also our luck to go on safari at the end of March - beginning of April, at the start of the rainy season. It is also called "Green Season", as the savannah is particularly beautiful. There were few tourists, which was an advantage for us: normally it would be a budget safari with two nights in a lodge and three - in a tent (on a campsite), but it rained in Serengeti the night before, and Bryson organized an upgrade at short-notice: two overnight stays at the Serengeti Safari Lodge in Seronera. We were accommodated in cozy, small houses with private bathrooms (see the attached photo). And the first and last night we spent in the town of Mto wa Mbu, in the good and clean Fig Tree Lodge. With a swimming pool! We felt welcome in both lodges, and the staff was very kind to us.
However, we stayed for one single night (the penultimate one) in a tent, on the chic Simba campsite at the Ngorongoro crater, with a canteen, toilet and shower. When we got there, the tents were already ready, and there was a mattress under each sleeping bag. My son and I shared a tent, single travelers each had a tent to themselves (we were a group of four). And the water in the shower was really hot.
All in all, in my opinion, this was a luxury safari for a reasonable price. I can recommend Safari Soles Tours to every safari friend with a clear conscience. I would like to thank Bryson, Lucas and Abdullah warmly: Asante sana!
Another tip that might be useful: If you arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport a day before the safari or stay in Arusha a few days after the safari, Bryson can organize a day trip for you. We took the Materuni Waterfall, Coffee Tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs trip and were satisfied. Justin and his friends in the Materuni Village are very funny guys, they performed a great "coffee-making-show" with nice singing. I enjoyed it (see photo)! Attention, waterfall: It's beautiful, but the hike there takes 45 minutes. In exchange, the Hot Springs were "pure relaxation", even if they are not really hot. The weather was already hot enough with 31 degrees, and a bath in the lukewarm water was good for us. And meanwhile our lunch, which was included in the trip, was ready. Thanks to our nice guide / driver Abouh, who took care of us that day and took us to the good Tulia Hotel & Spa in Arusha in the evening. Thanks also to Freddy for the smooth transfer to the airport at the very end of the trip. The transfer was also organized by Bryson.
