A great tour with lots of animals and amazing guides in Arusha National Park
5/5

The 1 day Arusha national park tour with hike was amazing. A great experience and the two guides we had were great. You get so close to the animals and they are all so calm in their natural habitat, the guides did a great job of explaining, directing, and spotting everything. The hike to be with the giraffes is a must! But we got to see a good variety of African wildlife. A must visit for sure.

Great Experience
5/5

We spent great 3 days with Guide Castro. Besides being very polite and helpful, he managed to show us wild animals like lion, leopard, cheetahs, zebra, hippo and many others. We also had a chance to see those animals in action - when they ate someone and mating(lions

Responsible, flexible, professional, perfect!
5/5

From the moment we got in touch with Rajab and the moment we were picked up from the airport, I knew our adventure with Sopai African Safari will be amazing, thrilling and unforgettable!

My husband and I opted for the 8 days Mid-range Everlasting Tanzania Experience + Wildebeest calving Season Package. This was our honeymoon trip and we had the honeymoon of our dream thanks to Sopai African Safaris. Can’t be thankful enough!

Throughout our 8 days Safari we were able to visit 4 National Parks: Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park (Central and southern parts), Ngorongoro Crater & Conservation area.
We also included a visit to a Masai Village to learn more about this African tribe, their way of living and their customs and habits. We also provided some school supplies to the Maasai children and some sweets. If you’re planning a Maasai experience make sure to bring some school supplies, these kids need it!

January was the perfect time in the Serengeti National Park according to the migration calendar, especially in the southern part of the Serengeti known as the Ndutu Area, as it was Wildebeest and Zebra’s calving season with lots of predators’ actions. So Rajab made sure to organize an itinerary including 2 nights in Ndutu area. No matter when you’d like to visit, you can trust the team of Sopai African Safari to use their expertise and experience to organize your Safari with the best spots according to the seasons!

We were stunned by the beauty of the different national parks we visited and the different landscapes we discovered along the way: lush rainforests, volcanic lakes, desert areas, mountains and altitude plains, plains and green savannahs… everyday we enjoyed unforgettable scenery!
And I’m even not speaking about the wildlife… As wildlife lovers we had high expectations about this Safari and we were not disappointed at all! Tanzania is a true wildlife heaven. We were lucky to spot all Big 5 (several buffalos, elephants, lions, rhinos and even a leopard hiding in a tree) and much more. Our guide was really good at spotting wildlife, going to dedicated places to look for species and avoiding when possible other groups by going off the beaten paths for us to enjoy private wildlife spotting. Everyday day he undertakes the challenge of the day (eg spotting a leopard, a crocodile, lion cubs or rhinos). He was professional and super knowledgeable about the different National Parks we visited, the wildlife, the flora and the culture. He took care about our safety and was always flexible to adjust all our needs and wishes during our game drives. He showed us the best spots and we met plenty of amazing animals thanks to his experience and dedication!

As owners of an ethical trekking company in Sumatra (specialised in orangutans spotting and other primate species), we give a lot importance in the way we approach and treat wildlife and it was really important to us to choose a company which does it in an ethical in responsible way. We always kept enough distance with wildlife and made sure to not disturb them too much. Our guide Vincent made sure to respect all the rules of the National Parks we visited. When spotting wildlife, we were never rushed and were encouraged to take our time when silently observing them which was really enjoyable.

The food throughout the safari was incredible. We were stunned by the quality of the lunch during our game drives. We always had a large selection of freshly cooked dishes served in proper containers with proper plates and cutlery (and not in single use lunch boxes like all the other groups we met). Yummy fruits were provided as well. The dinner prepared at our evening accommodations were always delicious!

We had 4 different accommodations during our 8 days itinerary, which were selected together with us during the booking process. Each of them was amazing. We had a mix between lodges and tented camps always with amazing scenery. The rooms were always fully furnished, super comfy and with scenic views! The staff of each accommodation were super caring and made sure we had a perfect stay. In each accommodation had a kind attention for our honeymoon which was really sweet. The food was always delicious! It is also our accommodations which prepared our (yummy) everyday lunch. Couldn’t have asked for more, everything was perfect!

I could write an entire book about our safari adventures. To make it short, this was one of the best experience I have ever done on and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in outdoor adventures, nature and wildlife.

Thank you to Rajab for being in constant communication with me regarding the package organization and all the questions I had prior of our trip. But also for being available anytime and super fast in answering. Super grateful for all the kind attentions he organized (personalized car for our honeymoon, personalized wine bottles during the safari, special attentions for our honeymoon in each accommodation, personalized reusable water bottle as welcome gift)

Best safari at best price!
5/5

Our private 6-day safari with driver-guide JACOB and cook RACHIDI was absolutely fantastic. Meru Slopes was not only the cheapest I could find for our program, they were also the most flexible for all our personal preferences. We had an optional walking safari + a bicycle tour (Lake Manyata) included.

Guide Jacob is a very efficient and patient organizer. He spotted so many animals : tree-climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, hippo's and many many wildebeests, zebras etc.

Jacob even organised a surprise birthday song-dance for my birthday and our sweet Rachidi baked a beautiful birthday cake :-)
Strongly recommended!!

Once in a lifetime experience
5/5

We had a great experience on our safari traveling around Tanzania. We are a family of 4 (two parents and two teenagers). Having our own private guide (Ian) with us the entire time allowed for a worry-free trip.
We loved the overall experience, but especially loved the higher end Lamala properties we visited (Nanyukie and Mpingo Ridge). The accommodations were magical, the staff world class and the food delicious. We loved the sun-downers we did throughout our safari and the unexpected surprises that came with each one.
The animals were amazing, and we saw everything we had expected. Unfortunately, some of the areas were overcrowded with safari vehicles which felt a bit intrusive on the animals. Our guide knew many areas that were remote and made for a more intimate experience. The cultural experiences were very special and made us feel as if we gained a better understanding of the way of life in Tanzania. I highly recommend the banana plantation lunch cooked by local ladies followed by a tuk tuk tour around the local village.
Overall, we had a great experience on our safari and would recommend it for anyone!

One of the best experiences ever!
5/5

Seeing gorillas in nature is one of the most amazing things I've done in my life. And Ngoni Safari made this adventure a very good one! Our driver, Arthur, was very polite and responsible. Even though it was a very long trip from Kampala, he did the best of it. We stopped for pictures, to stretch our legs, to buy local fruit (jackfruit and avocados), even to the ATM! Then, when we arrived in the accommodation the night before seeing the gorillas, we were actually impressed by the beauty of the place, the calm (perfection) of our lodge and delighted with the delicious food. We also had a beer and the chance to meet some locals! Ngoni: highly recommended! I wont' change a thing!

First off all excellent experience with safaribookings site for entire tour booking.
I traveled SOLO from Mumbai to Arusha. Before reaching Aursha I spent few hours in Dar Es Salam to visit city. I took airport registered taxi to visit city.
Then I joined the group for 5 days Safari in Arusha. National Parks included Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti and NGoronGoro.. Each park has its own beauty and different games. Weather was excellent during our Safari.. Ngorongoro was cold compare to other parks. I stayed one night in Seronera Public camp site and one night in Simba camp.. Superb experience of camping. In all my journey I felt safe with the tour guide and within stay.
Food prepared was really delicious. We spotted all big five and lot of other animals and birds.
It was a life time experience for me. Thank you.

Best safari tour with good staff.
5/5

I had the opportunity to go on a safari to Kenya organized by Aardwolf Africa for the first time last month. I have to say that i was surprised to see how well organized it was. The staff was very nice and helpful. One of them a tour guide, Paul was friendly and he had a great knowledge about animals. The vehicles were also very good and we were also very well accommodated.
