A once in a lifetime experience in Africa filled with nature, its animals and wonderful people
5/5

For our honeymoon, we booked with Wayfairer our African Safari. We booked on short notice and the whole team made a big effort to get us the best experience we wanted. We couldn't have booked with a better operator and we can only recommend booking with Wayfairer as our travels to Tanzania were stunning and 100% fulfilling. The experience we were looking for and more...

We first spent 4 nights at the Impala Camp in Selous. The Camp and its stuff are wonderful. The food, the Safari, and the accommodation were absolutely amazing. We loved being there and couldn't wish for more. Our tent was located in front of the river, right there where the hippos are. After the Impala Camp, we traveled to Ruaha and spent another 4 nights at the Mdonya Old River Camp. This small Camp is one of a kind because the dry River attracts lots of animals right in front of the tents. And during our time we woke up in the morning and saw already Zebras and Impalas grazing in front. The view is incredible and also Elefants are visiting the camp regularly. The staff and the camp managers Kings & Iris are wonderful people and we enjoyed a great time, the dinners are special as you meet at the fireplace first to exchange what happened during the day. It's interesting to hear what other tourists saw and experienced during the day being on Safari. Afterward, we always had dinner together which was very nice. The Safaris tour guides in Mdonya are very well trained and we could have spent easily another couple of days learning from them and hear their knowledge about the wildlife. On both Safaris we were alone during the day in an open Jeep.

Thanks a lot to the whole team of Wayfairer and especially to Josh who made a big effort to book everything in time.

Asante sana!

This was a trip of a lifetime saved by Shadracks' flexibility
5/5

The itinerary and hotel selections were terrific. Could have done without the train ride from Nairobi and there was a lot of driving but once we got to our destinations it was worth it.

A True Safari Experience
5/5

We took a private family tour carefully planned by our journey designer Luis G. where he's taken into account all our requests and exceptions. He's been pivotal in designing the right route, what to see, what to expect for a family of safari seekers at the "elementary" level. This is quite critical since what you see is assessed by what you expected in the first place. Moreover, if you are not part of a standard tour, be it a private or a group tour, chances are you'd be forgotten and ignored. However that was not the case for us...thanks to Luis G.
I strongly recommend for anyone who wishes a "boutique" safari experience to have a word with Luis prior to doing anything upfront.
He is the "one"...

We did a 7 day safari - Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli. All visited parks were different enough not to get bored. We liked our accomodation except one hotel that had some issues. Our driver was cheerful, helpful and patient. He made our safari so much better. Greetings Kikitu!

We took an Animal Day tour and enjoyed it a lot! The guide Maciej from Poland was very helpful and provided us a lot of interesting information about the animals and the life in Lapland overall. I definitely recommend the tour!

Excellent experience!

We had a 4 day safari and visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorogoro and Lake Manyara. Horace our guide was very nice, knowledgeable, tried to answer any of our questions and was a very good driver. We were able to observe so many animals up close that we could not leave wondering. The accommodations Hhando Coffee Lodge and Serengeti Heritage Luxury Camp were very comfortable.
Many thanks to Maureen and especially to Horace for a wonderful time.

Snow Leopards in Ladakh and Tigers in Raipur India
5/5

Rose put together a wildlife trip for us seeing Snow Leopards in Ladakh and Tigers in Raipur India. The entire trip was absolutely amazing, filled with both nature and culture. We were a little afraid of how cold the Himalayas were going to be but found the the lodging was quite warm and activities were always accompanied by warm tea. During our trip we saw a snow leopard with her two cubs for a four hour period, it was really incredible and thrilling. We then went to Kanha National Park were we saw a tigress with her three cubs, another beautiful and exhilarating experience. Everywhere we went, Rose provided us with the best guides to help us learn about the environment, wildlife and culture fo the area. This is the second trip we've taken with her and have found that each trip we walk away with not just an exhilarating wildlife experience but also with a better understanding of the area we've visited. Looking forward to our next adventure!
