A wonder of nature

South Africa is really worth visiting. incredible nature, fauna, gastronomy and I highlight, the sympathy of the people. really wonderful.
In terms of safety in Cape Town and Johannesburg, it is better to avoid night walks. I am waiting the next chance to vome back.

About: Tanzania
Place of numerous natural beauties - but lacks infrastructure
Overall rating
5/5

We hired a Safari company that helped us a lot, even before the trip (choosing the best airport, and the best flight time).
The Safari itself was wonderful. The guide was super knowledgeable, attentive, and fun. He welcomed us at every step.
We also went with an excellent cook- we ate very well at every meal!
We camped at the public camp. The structure was very good, and we could see some animals very close!- the camp doesn't have fences, so the animals roam around there.
Our tour offered a day visit to the waterfall and hot springs. That day was not very good. The waterfall is beautiful, but it's inside a coffee farm, where you participate in the coffee-making process, with lots of partying and singing - which you don't have the option of not participating. The visit to the waterfall itself was super short, you can't swim or even stay for a long time, as there are many tourists in addition to the residents of the farm. Then we travel for hours to get to the hot springs. Well...the place is crowded (we went on a Sunday), as it is the leisure space of the locals. Several people with floats and loud music, in addition to the barbecue. We, like other tourists, didn't feel comfortable staying there, it felt like we were invading something and being in such crowded places bothers us a lot. We left very quickly.
We were 6 people, and none of them recommends this last day tour as a whole.
In general, be prepared for latrines, lack of hot showers and toilet paper, and long hours of driving on very bad roads - in addition to a lot of bureaucracy and delay in airports and cheaper hotels.
Still, it's worth it to be so close to the animals and see them peacefully in their natural habitat.

About: Tanzania
Incredible
Overall rating
5/5

Tanzania is incredible. Anyone who is interested in wildlife should consider going there. We visited Serenity National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area as part of the safari and the whole experience was awesome. We got to see pretty much every animal we wanted to (excel Rhinos), passed around many Masai villages. Lions were three feet from our vehicle in some cases. The view of the endless plains in Serengity and the Ngorongoro Crater are amazing.

Our tour operator Safari Soles was very good with answering any questions we had and our safari guide Simone was the best. He knew everything about the parks and its residents and took us to some spots with no other people in the vicinity and these were some of the best wildlife sightings in the whole trip.

I highly recommend Tanzania to anyone considering a safari.

5stars
5/5

this was a very special trip, we were doing 25y of marriage and were taking our 3 kids to do a trip that we were talking for several years-a safari in tanzania.
we have prepared this trip for several months, our travel adviser Luis from Soul of Tanzania was always available, giving us good hints and replying always very quickly to our requests and questions (which were many) and when we finally got there were extremely lucky to have the BEST GUIDE POSSIBLE- AZARIA.
having a good guide makes the trip and we had the best one possible. I am sure there are many good guides but Azaria is the best- he is always smiling, is incredibly knowledgable, very attentive to details, have a very good sense of humor, is great with teenagers, is a very company and a very good driver as well which is important when you do some many kms in tanzania as we did.
we went to Tarangire, central Serengeti, north Serengeti and Ngorongoro. we saw the big5, had great experiences, the travel went as planned, the lodges were as good as we thought, they were exactly what the images showed to us and I can only recommend this trip, Soul and Azaria. it was like we see in National Geo TV but this time we were there not in front of a TV. priceless.

Incredibly kind and accommodating to all needs
5/5

I will start the review by saying firstly… I had the best African experience with Uzuri Safaris!! Edris, Ronnie & Joaquin were the best tour guides - incredibly accommodating and kind. We had an extremely busy schedule for the 6 days we were with them, and their execution of the itinerary was so well done. Highlights of the trip- chimpanzee and gorilla treks! The food & hotels they coordinated were top notch (and I am a picky person)! Also, we traveled with a group of 13, which can get difficult to navigate, but it went very smoothly with them. On top of it, the 3 tour guides turned into 3 friends very quickly. Wouldn’t have wanted to go with anyone else!

4 Day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru
5/5

I had a wonderful 4-day itinerary organized by Sino Safari. Jong handled all of my communications and I must say that he was on top of everything for start to finish to make sure that we had everything needed to have an enjoyable Safari. Even as far as helping us to stay on top of requirements needed to enter Kenya and providing additional resources to ease our process. George was our Safari guide and I would request him again and again anytime that I would return for a visit. He was kind and courteous and also quite patient. He was knowledgeable and helped us change our itinerary to suit our needs. He ensured that we were able to see as much as possible and seemed to know some of the best routes. When the weather impacted our plans, he gave us additional time on our last day to ensure we still had the best itinerary. At the end of the trip he even helped us to arrange for a doctor to meet us for a same day covid test when we realized it was necessary for the next leg of our journey. I would highly recommend Sino Safari and George especially as a guide.

Organization and Guide perfect
5/5

Lionking tailored and organized our safari plus Zanzibar for us (family of 5, kids 16-24) perfectly. Khalifa, our guide, was a great animal spotter (how did he manage that while driving on those roads?) and knew everything about the animals as well as country and people. He was also a nice and friendly guy and competent driver, so we always felt safe. Lionking vehicles (we saw other Lionking vehicles, too) were all in good condition.
Our safari comprised Tanguire, Lake Manyara, 3 game drives to different parts of Serengeti, and Ngorogoro Crater. September 2022 was apparently a good time as it was not very crowded by people, but lots of animals. Although each area and day had a unique and unforgetable character we would not like to have missed, if you had less time for a safari, you could skip Lake Manyara and possibly cut down on Serengeti. The rain in recent years has mostly destroyed the marshlands of Lake Manyara and you can see the remaining animals also elsewhere.

The most amazing experince in our lives
5/5

Midian is a great manager, super available, fast and attentive. He really was someone on whom we trust during our travel and that make it unforgettable. African chitah is then, a really good safary company where you should trust to find an amazing exeprience offered by excellent professionals. For that, it is essential to mention Chiba, the greatest safari guide you could ever think about. To justify it we could say that on our arriving to Serengeti NP we spot, in about 2 hours, the big five (including black rhino and leopard with cubs). He is an amazing, inteligent and interessant person that customized our trip with some changes to fit our expectations (we did even visited a Masaai tribe). We also stayed in a very good camp and lodge. This was, indeed, the best experience of our lives.
