Excellent organisation and service
From the outset communication was very good. Because of flooding in Kruger our accomodation had to be changed. Our alternative accommodation was excellent and the change done seamlessly. In addition we received a refund as the alternative accommodation was cheaper. The majority of our accommodation was comfortable and adequate for our needs. Information on restaurants and places to visit were comprehensive. All in all a very professional outfit and one which my wife and I would have no hesitation in using again

Zambezi Expedition was the highlight of my trip and it does not come close. I was a student and wanted to find a budget option to be able to travel to Chobe and going on a few drives. I found Zambezi Expedition and found they had exactly what I was looking for and more. I scheduled a 3 day, 2 night safari in Chobe and it couldn’t have gone better.
The team picked me up from my accommodation in Vic Falls, and drove me across the border (with ease thanks to their staff) to begin our first game drive. The first drive I was able to see around 7 lions, 2 giraffes, and plenty of other animals that Chobe has to offer.
I was then dropped off at my Chobe Accomodation and relaxed before a beautiful sunset boat cruise down the Chobe river where I saw tons of hippos, buffaloes, and elephants up close and personal. This all happened on the same day, and shows that if you are looking to see animals in Chobe and are on a budget, the Chobe day trip is perfect for you.
I then was woken up in the early morning on the following day for an early in the morning game drive. I saw around 120+ baboons, 3 more lions, and a giraffe so close I could’ve touched it!
Later that day I had the opportunity to go on one more drive, where we stopped at a watering hole towards the end, and saw 18 elephants all bathing and drinking the water. It rained on this trip, but little did I know the team supplied rain coats and I stayed completely dry while enjoying the animals.
This trip was a 10/10 and I will for sure be coming back and using Zambezi Expedition. Oscar has been the nicest man to work with, and will tend to any and all of your needs with a simply WhatsApp text. He is quick to respond and has even driven me the following day after my tour to the airport, free of charge (typically costs $30 USD for transport). When signing up, I recommend emailing Oscar directly and he will be able to set up the perfect trip based on your groups needs. I was a solo traveler but groups are also welcome, long and short trips, budget and expensive as well. He did a phenomenal job of making me feel at home and welcomed into the beautiful park of Chobe and nation of Botswana.

Last month we booked a tour to Kenya with Hyrax safaris. We covered Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, and Masaai Mara. Our experience with Hyrax was amazing. Even while our tour was ongoing, Roselyne was very fast in responding to any communication, demonstrating her dedication to ensuring our trip was smooth and enjoyable.
Undoubtedly, one of the highlights of our tour was our guide, Dan. He is a true professional who goes above and beyond to ensure that his clients have a safe and enjoyable trip. His impressive knowledge of the area, wildlife, and culture was evident as he shared his insights and answered our questions with enthusiasm. Dan's speed and efficiency in navigating through the terrain allowed us to make the most of our time and experience the stunning landscapes and wildlife. Thanks to his expertise, we were lucky enough to spot a Black rhino within three minutes of entering the reserve.
We were also impressed with Denis, our guide on the last day, who was very knowledgeable and pleasant. He gave us a detailed city tour, covering all the important places in the city of Nairobi.
Overall, we highly recommend Hyrax Safaris to anyone looking for a well-planned and guided tour in Kenya and Masaai Mara. Roselyne's amazing planning and coordination skills, combined with Dan's outstanding guidance, make for an exceptional experience. If you are planning a trip to Kenya, we would highly recommend asking Roselyne if she can get Dan for you as your guide as he truly made our trip unforgettable.

Amazing adventure with great crew!
In February 2023 I went on a 6 day safari adventure with my brother with Polecat Safaris and it was an experience of a lifetime! The highlight of our trip was seeing the big 5 and so many more amazing animals, which was made possible by our incredibly knowledgeable and skilled guide/driver Eli. He was an absolute pleasure to be around, and made the entire trip so much more enjoyable with his comfortable driving and hard work.
The amazing food that was prepared in the middle of nature by the cook, DVD, was constantly surprising and delicious! We couldn't believe the quality (and amounts) of the meals that were served up on a daily basis, and it really made the whole experience much more memorable.
The owner, James, was very friendly and helpful in arranging the entire experience for us, and meeting is in the hotel lobby the evening before our safari to explain our trip. He even helped us out in booking some last minute day trips afterwards, which we really appreciated.

Wonderful experience
A budget safari that was more than we expected... we saw lots of animals, the drive and the places we stayed made it more adventurous.
Our driver Jimmy was exceptional(very knowledgeable about wildlife and a happy soul)... he made the trip so smooth and fun!
The company was very quick to answer any queries we had and made sure we did all that was included in the package.

Outstanding both in normal safari with excellent wildlife viewing and in medical emergencies
We had a lovely and verz well organized safari with lots of lovely wildlife. Sightings. Our guide was verz knowledgeable about all the parks. A big challenge for us and our guide was a medical emergency. With that, our tour group was separated because of the necessary treatment and our guide had for one group to continue the safari in the usual way. At all the times, however, he was also extremely helpful for the patient and the companion. Thank you very much for these achievements. We all always felt us in good hands.
