Starting with communication, straight fwd and fast email response on every question I could come up with when starting my trip planning.
This safari exceeded my expectations by far.
You do not only need luck for that, but also a great guide, who knows where to go, for upping the chances being lucky.
Our guide Khalifa is for sure one of those. He relentlessly sought out every corner he could, to find as many animals possible on the wishlist. Great energy and a real sport too.
We've seen at least 60 lions plus, inclusive cubs, we've seen leopard, cheetah, rhino (yes) and all elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos and what not you could ever wish for.
The whole big five.
Of course, ultimately it's up to the animals if they want to show themselves. But Axis certainly gives you a great chance being lucky with that, and we were.
I can't see any reason going with the super expensive luxury type of safaris, if the animals are what's important to you.
A great guide is what you really need, and Khalifa is one of a kind for sure.

Fast, efficient, polite and was an expert on safari tours
Excellent service from Sandra. Within less than an hour I had several options to choose from and I was provided with all the details, costs and recommendations. It was incredibly fast and efficient and Sandra thought of everything - including even small things like arranging for meals on route. I could not have asked for more. Other companies could learn from the wonderful customer service - it was perfect and I would use the company again. Highly recommended to anyone. If you want someone to trust to deliver your holiday for you - then Traipsing is it.

BEST TOUR OPERATOR EVER!!!
We booked a safari with Zohar in 2020 for our honeymoon, but we couldn't go because of the pandemic. We stayed in touch all this time and Lilian and her team have always been kind and available to postpone and adjust the tour, giving us precious suggestions to fit it based on our desires: at the end everything was PERFECT, beyond any expectations!
David is a careful, funny, competent guide: he really knows everything about wildlife and he can predict the animals behaviors! Everyday with the Zohar team we felt special and pampered as they surprised us with little amazing gifts.
We really have no words to thank you enough for this great unforgettable experience!!!

Sammy was very helpful, an excellent driver and communicated well well with us.
We used Pride of Africa Adventures to transfer from Nakuru to Naivasha and later from Naivasha to Nairobi. They were excellent, reliable, and courteous. Their driver, Sammy, made our trip very comfortable.

Great communication and service
Noel was amazing and very helpful in everything around the safari admin as well as getting around Arusha.
The actual safari was great, only one note, it felt a bit intrussive when “chasing” a cheetah.
Apart from that the whole experience was great and surely recommended.
As a note for the food, quantities could be slightly bigger and would appreciate some snacks for the car.

Mount Kilimandscharo -
As two friends from Germany we decided to end 2022 with the ultimate adventure - climbing Mount Kilimandscharo-. Via SafariBookings we contacted Joagro Safaris Tanzania. After a few days of contact we booked the 6 days Machame Route, which is said to be the most beautiful one, 3 weeks in advance. Communication with Jonas was always easy and pleasent.
On the day of our flight the airline overbooked the plane. So we were compelled to start our journey one day later. I called Jonas in the evening (quite upset) , because we were on a strict schedule. But he calmed me down and rearranged everything, so that we were still able to fully enjoy our climb.
Which we did!! We met Jonas twice. First for casual chatting, also for him to make sure we arrived savely and second to intruduce us to the crew. We had an amazing cook und enjoyed our fresh meals three times a day. I am still amazed by the friendlieness and strength of our guides and porters. We felt very well looked after during our time in Tanzania. So if you are looking for an operator to climb Kilimandscharo, go with Jonas!

Best tour provider with the best guides ❤️
The 7 days tour was really amazing - a once in a lifetime experience. Our guide Freddy took us to Tangire, Ndutu, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We saw all animals on our bucket list incl leopard, cheetah, rhino, hippos, so many lions.... Freddy is the best tour guide you could wish for - he knows so much about the wildlife, is really friendly, funny and has the best eyes to find the animals. We also enjoyed our lodges and camps in the wildlife and the good lunch (no lunch packages like others but good and warm meals every day).
The last day, Andrew took us to the Kilimanjaro area for hot springs, a coffee farm and a waterfall. We had a great day, enjoyed the singing for the coffee process and the best lunch we had so far in Tanzania (all locally grown).
