Excellent experience! :D
5/5

We did the 6-day safari Samburu-Nakuru-Masai Mara and it was wonderful!! I would definitely choose the same tour and company again!
The route was great, as it gave us the chance to see most of the animales of the area and also appreciate different sceneries, as plants and animals change a lot between the different reserves. We actually got to see 3 types of giraffes, 2 of rhinos and 2 of ostriches + plenty types of birds and other animals as well (including Samburu's Special 5 and the Big 5)
In terms of cost/benefit, I thought it really good, as it was a private the tour for 2, including an excellent guide, very very nice hotels and all the food.
Our guide Patrick was very good. He made us feel safe and was incredibly skilled on spotting animals (we saw a leopard on our first game drive!). He would give us as much time as needed to be watching animals without hurrying us! That was great! He was very flexible and that made us feel comfortable. He would always considered our thoughts and wishes (he tried to focus on the animals we wanted to spot)... you could see that he was doing his best effort! He really wanted to make sure that we were having an incredible time.
We were surprised by the good quality of service given by the company and how trustworthy they were.

One day Safari + quad bike ride in Aquila Private Reserve
4/5

I experienced the full day activity in the Aquila Private Reserve. The Resort was fantastic, with great food and a nice spa. The safari, though, was not as exciting as I expected, but it's a matter of external conditions.
I had the greatest time with the quad bike ride!
I totally recomment Gems of Africa!

Luxury Safari plus Zanzibar
5/5

My wife and I just completed a safari and add on visit to Zanzibar arranged by Lion King Adventures. I have no hesitation in recommending Lion King for planning your trip and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Our positive experience began with our initial contact. I had contacted three safari companies and Pendo, from Lion King, most impressed me with her response. She was always prompt in her response (taking into account the time difference) and thorough in her answers. She listened to what we wanted and tailored a safari and an add on trip to Zanzibar that met and exceeded our expectations. After the safari she met with us personally, which was a pleasure for us,to get our feedback to try and improve an already excellent product.
We elected to do the luxury tour. We stayed at Mount Meru Hotel Arusha,Lake Manyara Kilamamaja Lodge,Kubu Kubu Tented Camp Serrengeti,Lake Masek Tented Lodge,Sopa Lodge Ngorongoro Crater,Maru Maru Hotel Stone Town Zanzibar,Spice Island Hotel East Coast Zanzibar and Double Tree by Hilton on the north coast Zanzibar. All of the accommodations were excellent with a special shoutout to the Kilamamajo Lodge, which was gorgeous-one of the nicest places we have ever seen.
The safari itself was a wonderful experience. Our guide,Khalifa, was excellent. He is knowledgeable,a great game spotter,a careful driver (he never got stuck, other drivers did) and fun to spend time with.
Finally a few words on doing a safari at this time of year. Normally this is a mini dry season but this year and last have been wet(apparently global weather change is a real thing). Consequently, now is the low tourist season with the high season (dry season) being June,July and August. There are plus and minuses to both choices. In the wet season the landscape is green, lush and beautiful. There are less crowds so there are fewer safari vehicles on the road and finding accommodation is easy. In our case, 5 male lions decided our road was a good spot to sun and dry off so it made up close viewing possible. On the down side it can make wildlife spotting more challenging,as the animals are not concentrated around a few watering holes (there is water everywhere) plus the animals can be difficult to see in the thick vegetation. If it is raining heavily the animals tend to seek shelter and aren't very active. Finally, with heavy rains some of the roads become impassable and getting stuck is a possibility. Having said that,we never got stuck and the difficult terrain added to the adventure. We enjoyed great weather and saw more animals than we could have imagined (including the big 5).
All in all it was a "bucket list trip" made possible by Lion King Adventutes.

Flexible and capable of organizing a weekend trip at very short notice.
5/5

While being on a business trip in South Africa I had a free weekend to spend which I only knew on Thursday. After sending out an inquiry I got
a response from TIMELINE very quickly. Instead of sending emails back and forth I had a telephone conversation with Andrew Machete and before long we were on common ground.
Out of a few options I chose KwaMaritane, a wonderful place.

In a nutshell:
- TIMELINE put together a perfect package for me
- Organization and the invoicing process was no problem at all
- TIMELINE's driver came to pick me up perfectly on time at both ends
- He also was a pleasant chat partner during both 2 1/2 hr trips to and from the loodge

I can certainly recommend TIMELINE as an operator and I will be happy to have them organize a trip for me again

Great trip, great driver, great travel agent!
5/5

First, we had a wonderful experience in the Mara, Naivasha, and then Elmenteita with my wife, 2 kids, mother/father-in-law, and brother-in-law. Saw a good amount of wildlife in the Mara. The grass was tall so some things were hard to find, but you can't control wild animals and nature. Naivasha (Enashipai resort) was a great place to relax with the family and some really great activities near by (bike ride in Hell's Gate and boat ride on the lake). We lucked out and had a nice valentines day dinner as well! Elmenteita was be beautiful and tons to do at the Serena Camp there (we did horseback riding, game drive, archery, yoga, swimming, and cooking class between all of us). Great trip!

Second, Allison, our agent in Kisumu, was very patient working with my wife as she tried to wrangle in my in-laws into what exactly they wanted to do.. :) Shout out to her (and my wife, of course) in planning a great trip! Also, there were a few minor wrinkles with my brother-in-law, but she worked with us and the resorts to come to a good solution. All-in-all, the whole team was very patient with us and Allison made everything work and once things started it went off without a hitch.

Last, but definitely not least, our driver was awesome! Onesimus was punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. He had a great attitude throughout and worked his hardest to make sure we saw tons of wildlife (saw all but leopard and rhino, which was the same for essentially every tour group there at the same time as us). We saw 5 cheetahs the first day super close up and tons of other great animals (lions, hippos, tons of antelope/gazelles, jackals, hyena, ostrich, buffalo, flamingo, water buck, eland, etc.). He knew his stuff and you could tell he had a great relationship with the other drivers coordinating to find good stuff. He helped make whatever we wanted to do happen. He was also very friendly, great to chat with during our long drives between parks, and super friendly with all of us. The kids loved him and he made sure my daughter had a great time when she couldn't ride the bikes and had to ride along in the vehicle with him. We got him to join us on the climb of Mount Longinot one day and had a blast with all the guys together (while the girls had spa day). Couldn't recommend Onesimus more, great guide!

Great Time with Great People
5/5

We were a group of 6 people and we wanted to do a safari in Africa but specifically northern of Tanzania for 7 days, we came across Serengeti Camping Safari in this platform. Anita of Serengeti Camping Safari worked diligently and professionally to arrange such a unique travel experience. She's an awesome and flexible consultant that provided us with good services and advice. She planned the entire trip perfectly, with effective transfer service, perfect timing and all those little extras that make your trip easier and more entertaining.
Simba our guide/driver had a safe driving style and ability to manoeuvre the rough roads and muddy tracks which made us feel comfortable. There was a variety of fauna to see, he was extremely good on spotting animals and knowing where to go in the parks. He treated the Land Cruiser like it was his own, cleaning it inside and out each day, making the experience even more comfortable.

On the last day of our safari we went to just chill and relax at Chemka Hot Springs where we had much fun swimming in the hot water. We could not have been more pleased with our experience.
We LOVED it! We would most certainly go back and share another beautiful experience with the Serengeti Camping Safari gang!

3 Day Short Exciting Tanzania Safari
5/5

3 Day Short Exciting Tanzania Safari

What a lovely trip in the bush of Africa’s most authentic National Parks!
We had a great time with Msago, our tour guide and Hashim our driver. He knew where we can spot each animal and was very humble and e accepted whatever we asked in terms of directions and animals to look for. He was very flexible and knowledgeable of every route in the park. I Loved where we stayed, the lodge is clean and spacious but affordable also, and the food and drinks were good and the people charming. Thank you Connect African Safaris. Thank you Sheikha for planning this trip with us and thank you for coming to the airport and constantly checking on us over the phone every evening.
