Superb from start to finish
I stumbled upon MoAfrika Tours online while planning a safari as a birthday trip for my mother. This being our first trip to Africa, we were a little apprehensive and wanted to work with an honest and competent tour agency. Within 24 hours of requesting a quotation on MoAfrika's website, I was contacted by Anthony, a founder of the company, who promptly and proactively provided detailed information about the available packages and offered thoughtful, useful suggestions. Formal quotations were issued quickly, and were all-inclusive; no hidden fees. The team was polite and responsive without exception, even as our plans evolved, and would often respond to my messages even outside their office hours. The prices represented very good value (confirmed by independent comparison), and the team was always reasonable and flexible in accommodating the exigencies of our trip (e.g. an early morning arrival). We were met at OR Tambo Airport by Arnold, who went the extra mile to give us a warm welcome to South Africa after our overnight flight by pointing out interesting landmarks, sharing some of the history of the region and allowing plenty of time for photographs and rest stops during the transfer to the Shepherd's Tree Game Lodge in Pilanesberg. After an incredible four days at Shepherd's Tree (an excellent recommendation by Anthony), we were taken on a lovely closed vehicle game drive by a MoAfrika guide before being collected by Arnold for the transfer to our hotel in Johannesburg. The following day, we were taken on a wonderful tour of Johannesburg by another MoAfrika guide, Cpho, who shared his personal experiences as a resident of Soweto to bring an already very informative program to life. At every stage of our trip, the team checked in on us and politely sought feedback. They were always ready to help: when our hotel in Johannesburg cancelled our fully-paid reservation on arrival due to 'overbooking', I reached out to Anthony, who immediately coordinated the change in pickup location for the following day's tour even though the MoAfrika office had closed for the day. In sum, MoAfrika Tours went above and beyond in every possible way, offering exceptional value for money, unfailing reliability and first-class service. They have truly earned my unreserved recommendation.

A perfect trekking experience with Alpine Chat Adventure!
I just came back from the 6-day Machame route trek with Alpine Chat Adventure, and I can confidently say that my expectations were not only met but exceeded in every possible way.
I was initially drawn to Alpine Chat Adventure due to their incredible reviews, and it was important for me to support a local Tanzanian-based company. From the moment I contacted the owner, Erick, he responded promptly to all my questions, and provided me with a clear and detailed itinerary.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, I unfortunately found that my suitcase was lost and it was just a day before my hike was supposed to begin. However, thanks to Erick, who took charge and personally handled the situation with the airport, my suitcase was located and returned to me in time for the hike.
Alpine Chat Adventure went above and beyond to ensure I felt secure and cared for throughout my entire journey, which was especially important to me as a young solo female traveller. From the friendly drivers who transported me to and from the airport, the amazing hotel I stayed at before and after the hike, and the attentive crew accompanying me up to the top of Kilimanjaro, I felt comfortable and well looked after at all times.
During the trek itself, my vegan diet was catered to with delicious meals, and all of my questions were addressed during my daily briefings with my guide Yaky. Yaky was a truly amazing guide, providing me with valuable insights, guidance, and support every step of the way.
If you're considering trekking to the top of Kilimanjaro, I cannot recommend Alpine Chat Adventure highly enough. Choose this amazing company, and you'll be rewarded with a perfect and personalised experience. Thank you, Alpine Chat Adventure, for making my Kilimanjaro trek a dream come true!

Incredible! We had the best experience ever - everything we hoped for and more!
Our time with Joagro Safaris was the most amazing experience. We spotted everything we wanted to see including lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, giraffe the list goes on. Our tour guide made sure we spotted everything and seemed to know all the right spots to ensure we spotted the wildlife we wanted to see. He was also really funny and great to spend time with. The service was fantastic, beyond what we imagined and can’t thank joagro enough for the best holiday we’ve ever been on. The accommodations and staff at all of these were amazing, the food was great and above all the safari experience was incredible. What an adventure - thank you!

Best overall experience
A really enjoyable experience! Communication with Jocky Tours was very easy, they were quick to reply to emails and well coordinated as a team. They were also great at accommodating a last minute change.
Our driver Joseph was amazing, a lovely person, an experienced driver, and great at spotting the animals at Masai Mara. When you book, opt for the Land Rover option, it was a lot of fun!
We stayed at Lenchada camp and the experience was exactly as described, with good food and friendly staff.
Totally recommended overall!

Emphatic, kind, high expertise
I went to Masai Mara on a group joining safari with David. He was very emphatic, kind and humble. He was caring about our group as if we were close friends. Also, through his very high expertise, we were lucky to see many animals and amazing views there. I would recommend to everyone to go with them.

Perfect!
We booked a 6-days safari with Multiways in June. Communication was easy, and Romeo had some good suggestions to tailor the safari to our wishes. We were so lucky to have Pius as our driver! He has a lot of knowledge, is a good spotter and is a nice guy (also not unimportant , because you share a jeep for some very long days). He made an effort to make it good days and tailored it well to our interests. We visited Arusha NP, Manyara, 2 days in the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro crater and Tarangire. All parks are different, and added something to our trip. Accommodations were amazing, we especially loved the overnight stays in the tent in the Serengeti.
We absolutely recommend Multiways Safari, and hope to come back some day!

Competent, professional and reliable
We were a travel group of 3 couples and last year, we spontaneously decided to book a 22-day intinary with Home To Africa, 18 days through Uganda and 4 days in the north of Kenya.
Hedmond of Home to Africa, informed us precisely, competently and always very promptly during the contacting and tour finding process.
Derrick then guided us through Uganda in a Land Cruiser 4x4. We experienced him as a very reliable, professional guide who always knew comprehensively about the country, its people, life and history. He also knew a lot about nature and great wildlife. The lodges suggested and booked by Home to Africa also surprised us very positively. Very good service, extremely friendly people, good rooms and last but not least the fine food convinced us.
The highlights of gorilla and chimpanzee trekking will remain in our memories forever. Great experience.
Jeremy from Home To Africa accompanied us for 4 days from Nairobi to the Samburu and Ol Pejeta conservancy in Northern Kenya.
We can also rate Jeremy as a good guide and the stays in both areas with many animal sightings were a wonderful experience.
We can highly recommend Uganda/Kenya Tours, being organized by Home To Africa. +

Best week of our lives!
My friend and I were lucky enough to go on a safari to Tanzania with Heaven as our guide on a recommendation from another friend. What a fantaatic move! This was during Covid so there were extra logistics involved with Covid tests and timing of results, but everything was coordinated beautifully. Heaven picked us up from the airport and was our private guide for the entire 6 days until he dropped us off at the airport. He never tired of our questions, which were many. He is kind, trustworthy and thorough. He was flexible with our schedule but gave us honest information so we could see the most. For example, when we wanted to sleep in and we needed to leave early, he told us! He didn't let us miss anything becuase of our own uninformed decisions. We had a slight issue with the covid test getting back on time, but Heaven was on it! He was able to get our tests from the lab so we could leave as scheduled.
I highly recommend Heaven as a safari guide. When I go back to Tanzania I will use him again without question.
