Hassani knows everything!!!
5/5

Really enjoying our safari so far. Hassani, knew the answers to the millions of questions I asked about the safari and surrounding areas. He's also so eagal eyed, spotting animals where you'd never think they were. He's polite, professional and helpful. Catered to our needs, especially as I had a baby, they accommodated with a child seat and stopped for nappy changes. Highly recommend Gosheni Safaris.

Greatest trip ever
5/5

I spent 6 days with Agusti Renga and the Wings of Africa TZ guys.
We climbed mount Meru and took two day safari trips.
I must say, i have never met such friendly and trustworthy people. They took us from the airport and show us the country. We had great climbing experince and enjoyed the safari very much.
I highly recomend you to book your trips in Tanzania with the Wings of Africa. You will not regret it.

Easy going, professional, punctual
5/5

It was a great experience. Everything worked out as it should have. The timing, picking up at hotel, everything! We got to see lots of animals, get good angles for photos and enjoy our experience!

Avoid This Company – Lost €2,153 Due to Their Negligence
1/5

We booked our wedding safari with this company and had extensive communication — over 10 emails exchanged using their official email address — where we agreed on all the trip details. After everything was confirmed, we received a request for a 50% deposit, again from their same official email. Trusting this, we sent €2,153 to the account details provided.

Some time later, we received an email from telling us to contact them via WhatsApp. We then heard from them on WhatsApp, where they told us their email had been hacked. I have proof email regarding payment request, and WhatsApp communication confirming these facts.

During later discussions, instead of showing any regret or empathy, they told us it was our fault for sending the money — even though they admitted their own systems had been compromised. To make things even worse, they then demanded we pay the full price again — even higher than the previously agreed price — claiming that the lower price had not been agreed by them and that the “real” price is higher.

This is especially outrageous because this was meant to be part of the most important day of our lives — our wedding — and their attitude has completely ruined the experience before it even began.

Recommendation:
For your own safety and peace of mind, avoid this company at all costs. We lost our money, and instead of helping us find a fair solution, they blamed us, refused responsibility, and tried to charge us even more.

Great, reliable tour operator!
5/5

Before the safari, Tabitha was very communicative on WhatsApp, answering any questions and concerns. I went on the 3 day safari to Maasai Mara with the guide, Raymond. As a solo traveler, I was paired with 3 additional solo travelers and 2 couples. All from different countries, we had a great time, driving back and forth between Nairobi and Maasai Mara, and doing the safari. Raymond was extremely knowledgeable about the park and the animals. A guide for 15 years, Raymond’s appreciation for the wildlife is very apparent. He went above and beyond to make sure we would see animals we were looking for. The tour was well organized and ran smoothly. The campsite I stayed at felt safe and secure, and they attempted to fix any issues that arose with things like hot water and electricity for different guests. But also, in the middle of rural Kenya, do not expect everything to be perfect. The weather and some things like that are just difficult! We were very muddy on our first day and dusty on our second. My group found things to laugh about through any unexpected circumstance, because everyone was able to go with the flow - something important for this experience. So expect your clothes to be dusty or muddy, expect the roads to be rough, but most of all expect to have the best time!

A family run business that takes care of all your needs!
5/5

I came across Porcupine Expeditions through this site and the reviews spoke for itself! From the initial contact prior to the safari, the communication was clear and prompt. As a solo traveller, I had so many questions about the tour but Mama Anna made me feel safe and assured that I was in good hands - I knew I booked the 2 day safari with the right tour company! Upon arrival at the airport, they were there ready to welcome me with open arms. The warm hospitality with Porcupine Expeditions was impeccable - it felt like I was home! Safari driver was very knowledgeable and was happy to stop by a Maasai village after the safari to do a village tour. After the 2 day safari, Anna also organised a day to visit Materuni waterfalls, coffee tour and Chemka Hot Springs. It was the most magical day! Loved every bit of the itinerary put together by Porcupine Expeditions! Highly recommend! :)

A trustworthy, friendly and professional travel operator.
5/5

I chose Ongeri Expeditions to help me organise my first ever safari, and my first ever trip to Kenya. This was purely based on a recommendation from a video I watched on YouTube. I had no contacts in Kenya, and very little knowledge about the country.

My plan was a 3 night stay in Masai Mara, and 4 nights in Nairobi. It was for my family, including my parents and sibling. I tasked Ongeri Expeditions to organize everything.

And I have to say, the experience was excellent. Faultless. Cazeah was the company representative assigned to me. She was in constant contact with me - giving recommendations for camps in Masai Mara, organising detailed itineraries, answering all my questions, and basically acting as a trusted advisor. She didn't rush me or pressure me into making decisions. Her responses were prompt. She understood that because of the amount of money involved for the safari, I needed to be very careful.

In terms of payment for the travel package, Ongeri Expeditions was very flexible. They allowed me to make payment in installments. Payments were made to a legitimate bank account in the name of the company. Receipts were sent to me. The entire payment process was transparent and above board. Again, as someone who has never been to Kenya and who was dealing with a Kenyan company for the first time, this was very important for me.

And of course, after the payments were made, Ongeri Expeditions delivered on the travel package. They passed with flying colors.
- VIP meet and greet was arranged for us the moment we landed in Nairobi International Airport. Fast baggage collection and swift transfer to a luxury van waiting to take us to our hotel in Nairobi. After 1 night, we were driven from our hotel to Wilson Airport, so that we can take our internal flight to Masai Mara (the internal flight was included in the travel package offered by Ongeri Expeditions).
- The Masai Mara safari experience was flawless. Every request we made to Ongeri Expeditions about the camp was communicated well in advance. I didn't have to make a single request or voice any complaint during our stay at Masai Mara. Nothing needed to be changed. It's very rare for me to experience a completely flawless stay at a travel destination - but this was one of them!
- After the safari at Masai Mara, we took an internal flight from Masai Mara back to Wilson Airport. We were personally greeted by Cazeah and the CEO of Ongeri himself at Wilson Airport, eagerly asking us how the safari went. This is a level of dedication which impressed me.
- In our last couple of days in Nairobi, another staff at Ongeri Expeditions was also kind enough to take us to a few travel attractions in Nairobi.

I can't speak about Ongeri Expeditions highly enough. They really did deliver and provide us with a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Reliable!
5/5

I hired a transfer to and from Madikwe via Safari Link. Very reliable work, good service support and the driver, Andre, was great.

Beyond just offering quality, on-time transfer service, we actually got to exchange on various topics in regards to the local culture. Truly a satisfying experience.
