Everything you could want and more!
We used Lobo Africa Company for our 7 day safari in Kenya and Tanzania. Great experience and well planned. All of the camps and lodges that Lobo arranged were top notch and offered a variety of experiences. We also got to tailor our safari based on what areas we wanted to explore in both Kenya and Tanzania. Our guides were experienced and extremely knowledgeable about the animals and different habitats. We not only saw the big five but so many animals that I can’t even count. We saw well over 30 lions which were hunting, eating and sleeping! Herds of elephants, rhinos, crocodiles, cheetahs, leopards, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras and many more. We even got to see the wildebeests crossing the river for the migration! The guides knew exactly where to look in the Massi Mara and Serengeti for optimal animal spotting. We also visited a Massi tribe boma and a coffee plantation which were very interesting and educational. This was our favorite trip we’ve ever been on, due to Lobo Africas arrangements and guides. We will be returning and would definitely recommend Lobo!

Archie is very easy to work with and very flexible and helpful
My Husband, daughter and myself visited Zimbabwe and Botswana for about 12 days and we had the best experience ever.
We started planning in May which was a little late. I contacted Archie after reading excellent reviews online.
Archie from the beginning was very easy to work with and gave good suggestions and booked excellent accommodation .These accommodation by themselves very so good that we felt we should have spent 2-3 days in each of them.
We missed connecting flight in Addis Ababa and went 1 day late to Zimbabwe. Archie quickly rearranged the Itenery, so in the end we did not miss anything that we had originally planned.
Muza , our guide took the experience to the next level. He is a very reliable and knowledgeable guide who went above and beyond to make our trip as comfortable as possible. His passion for what he does is commendable. We felt very safe with Muza.

Experience of a lifetime
We are a couple who recently went on a 11 day Kenya and Tanzania private trip with Tanzania Roadside Expeditions.
We spent a lot of time researching safari companies before booking our trip, and Tanzania Roadside Expeditions checked every box we were looking for. We specifically wanted a local operator rather than an international middleman, fair pricing, mid-range to luxury stays, experienced guides, and, most importantly, a company that operates ethically around wildlife. Tanzania Roadside Expeditions delivered on all of these, 100%.
Our biggest concern was trust. We had heard some scary stories about safari companies taking large upfront payments, providing accommodations very different from what was promised, or even leaving travelers stranded. Being so far from home, that was a real concern. Paul, the owner of Tanzania Roadside Expeditions, completely changed that experience for us. From the very beginning, he was personally involved, patiently answered all our questions, and was incredibly transparent and responsive. He met us before and after the trip, introduced us to his family, and even gave us something thoughtful to take home. By the end, Paul, our guides, and the entire experience genuinely felt like family.
Our guides, James in Kenya and Steven in Tanzania, were absolutely fantastic. Both were incredibly knowledgeable, experienced, observant, and respectful of the animals and their natural behavior. They seemed to anticipate where the animals would move and positioned us for some unforgettable moments. We saw the Big 5, witnessed the great migration and a wildebeest river crossing on our very first day, and many other natural wildlife phenomenon. They were genuinely as excited to show us these moments as we were to experience them. Huge kudos to Steven in Tanzania!
The accommodations were excellent as well. We normally plan our trips ourselves, but organizing multiple stays across two countries is challenging because many camps and lodges aren't easily found online. During the busiest season, several of our preferred options were already booked, but Tanzania Roadside Expeditions's local knowledge and connections meant they could suggest great alternatives until we found exactly what we wanted, often at very good rates.
Tanzania Roadside Expeditions delivered everything they promised and more. We would 100% recommend them to anyone planning a safari in East Africa. In fact, we're already planning our next trip back, and this time we'll be returning not just to Africa, but to visit our newfound family there. ❤️🌍

Our tour guide and driver was Kikitu, such a wonderful person and driver, who knows how to make travellers feel comfortable and safe in his presence. Very charming, cool person got great hospitality attitude and warm welcome to everyone who joined his tour.
Can’t expect anything more than how Jockey tours was organised my trip. It is affordable and easy to book online from London. Mineh was a such a professional person to ask any questions about the tour, all organised on time and no glitches anywhere I felt.
I would strongly recommend Jockey tours for safari tours and of cozy Kikitu as a driver. I would give 10/10 for Kikitu 👌😁

Knowledgeable and courteous
Our tour guide (Job) was excellent. He was engaging throughout the trip. He was on point with schedules and and where to go to maximize seeing the animals. He was respectful of space for the animal and to other tour guides. We would recommend him to any party on Safari.

Awesome Tanzania adventure
Oh my what an adventure. Our guide was James and he was awesome and always found animals when others could not. We visited tarangire national park and it was amazing then to lake natron to see flamingos giraffes and elephants and a visit with the local Maasai tribe which was remarkable. We also visited a bush tribe family that live off the land hunting animals with bow and arrow. Then to lake manyaro national park with monkeys baboons and elephants.then to the ngorogora crater with animals every where including rhinos and lions. So beautiful it’s the largest intact volcanic crater in the world. Then we headed north to the Serengeti for the real safari. The first morning was a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti which was surreal and would strongly advise to do. Then on safari. Many lions cheetahs leopard elephants giraffes crocs and more. Then the highlight of the trip, witnessed a Huge river crossing of the great migration of the wildebeest and zebra. Amazing! Then off to beautiful Zanzibar for tours of Stonetown then off to beautiful jambiani beach where we snorkeled and had boat ride to an island and lastly rode horse on the beach. Magical gorilla put together the best trip you could imagine. The lodges and clamping tent camps where the best and the people could not have been nicer or treated us better. This is the second time we have used magical gorilla adventures. Last year Uganda to trek with gorilla and chimps. You can’t go wrong with these folks! Highly recommend

What a great experience. Our guide was Muzi.
What a great experience. Got to see so many animals. Our guide was Muzi. He educated us on all the animals. From the leopard to the elephants, hyenas with beautiful little babies, which was so cool. We were only several feet from hyenas nursing It’s three newborn babies. crocodiles hippos and Impala everywhere. So many other animals I can’t even remember all their names. Initially it took a while before we saw many animals, but our guide was very persistent and towards the evening we began seeing them everywhere. He stopped and allowed us to take pictures as long as we wanted to answer our questions and was very Pleasant. this is a must trip to do in South Africa. The accommodations were amazing. Food was great I’ll give six stars if I could.
