Great personal and local experience
A truly outstanding experience!
This was an incredibly beautiful and authentic local experience. The porters were exceptionally friendly and worked unbelievably hard—truly nothing was too much to ask. They did everything with a smile and made sure we lacked nothing.
Choosing a private tour made the experience even more unique and personal. During the hike, we were treated to luxurious breaks with chairs and a small table, along with warm drinks such as tea, coffee, and hot chocolate—an unexpected luxury along the way.
The chef even came to speak with us personally to discuss our own customized menu, which made the service feel extra special. We had two highly capable guides, with one guide per person, ensuring maximum guidance, safety, and comfort.
The organization was also flawless: reliable and punctual transfers to and from the hotel, the airport, and the starting point of the hike. What stood out most was the strong group spirit—clearly a team that knows each other well, can rely on one another, and does their work with visible joy and pride.
Highly recommended and an experience we will cherish for a long time to come!

Wonderful experience!
Our Tanzanian safari with samora explorers was an unforgettable experience! Reggie's knowledge and passion for Tanzania's wildlife and culture were evident (our guide). He was incredibly attentive to our needs and ensured we had the best possible experience.
The trip from Arusha to the coast was smooth, with every detail thoughtfully planned. I highly recommend Samora explorers to anyone looking for an extraordinary safari adventure!

Excellent tour operator
I had two amazing tours with Kentau (Tsavo and Amboseli). Dominic always responded quickly and did arrange everything well.
We (Modi and I) spotted a lot of wildlife in Tsavo and stopped at every animal that I wanted to see. That gave me the chance to make some great pictures and identify every animal I saw. Aruba lodge was wonderful surrounded by elephants and beautiful bird species!
After a lot of gamedrives I did not expect to see a lot of new species in Amboseli, but Freddie still managed to show me some new species like the Cheeta and Martial eagle! We took all the time to observe the animals. Sentrim was a bit more basic compared to Aruba lodge, however it was great!

Highly responsive, incredibly professional, deeply knowledgeable
We booked our safari with Lion King at very short notice. Within a day, the Lion King team came back to us with a tailored itinerary based on our needs and timeline.
We were picked up at the airport in Kilimanjaro by Justin, who was very friendly and gave us our first introduction to Tanzania and our itinerary and took us to our first lodge.
The following day we were greeted by Haruni, who was our tour guide for the duration of our stay in Tanzania. Haruni is not only a great guide and tracker, he is also extremely professional and friendly. He understood that as we were on honeymoon we did not necessarily want to have a very demanding schedule, and he showed a lot of flexibility with our schedule and tardiness! We managed to see all Big Five and so much more.
Haruni also helped us deal with issues that came up during the trip (unrelated to Tanzania or Lion King), for example finding a hospital to have stitches removed that I had from an operation just prior to arriving in Tanzania.
I could not recommend Lion King more if you are looking for a professional, friendly, and locally knowledgeable operator!

Poor Service
We have been to many countries around the world, We never experienced such a bad service from any tour group. One of the worst experiences. I am completely disappointed and regret that we choose this company over others based on the reviews. True feedback is this is a rip off company who only cared about getting 100% of the money two weeks prior & after that here was no communication, I had to call them 3 times to get the information for the start day. There after not a single time they checked on us or with us if everything was going well. If there are any issues or concerns. Nothing at all until the program was over we received email the next day. They plan of providing dinner and breakfast was processed or pre-prepared food and the tour guide/driver was going to prepare dinner at unhygienic conditions. We refused to take anything from the guide. The company never bothered to check why we refused to take anything. We spent additional money for our breakfast & dinners. The tour company profited 60% of the total costs. They charged us 5 star pricing and provided 2 star.
Our friends who wanted to travel to Safaris this year were planning to go with the same group. Now we advised them not to. Only good part of the safari was the guide Daisaon who was very helpful.

Great Safari experience!
We as two female travellers had a wonderful experience with Tausi Trails. From the beginning with the planning of our trip, throughout the Safari and even after we had an amazing support from Catherine, who supported us in every possible way. Thank you so much for your outstanding support!
We really recommend booking with Tausi Trails, especially when taking a shared Safari. Our experience was, that we were able to stay with one driver-guide the whole Safari, when other travellers from other companies meeded to change the vehicles within the tour. This was a hige game changer for us. Also the food and the accommodation were good!

Perfect Communcation
Very friendly staff. We got affordable experience. Thanks a lot Xadija, very polite girl. With this company, one feels at home and safe. Materuni experience on the first day, Safari on the next 3 days and a trip to the Hadzabe and Datogo tribes on the last day made our trip amazing
