Perfectly organized Safari with Hosea
Joseph organized this trip from the beginning to the end and everything was above our expectations. He even helped us with rebooking the flights after Kenya Airways cancelled our flight from ZNZ to Nairobi.
The lodges he booked for us were fantastic, perfectly clean, great locations, and the food was good. We had a private Safari tour of Amboseli, Nakuru and Masai Mara with Hosea, who is the most amazing guide-driver. He found all the animals on our check-list, including the Big Five. Advice – pay an additional fee for the open roof Land Cruiser as we did. Totally worth it and it is better for crazy Safari roads

Absolutely amazing, highly recommend
We just finished a 9 day, 8 night luxury safari and 2 night, single day Mt. Kilimanjaro trek with Lion King Adventures (11 days, 10 nights total), and it is difficult to put into words how incredible our trip was and how fantastic Lion King Adventures is.
I’ll start with our safari: for many months, we worked with the Lion King Adventures main office team, including Nick and Pendo, to plan the safari of our dreams. The office team was very helpful and patient as we asked numerous questions and waited to assess the travel landscape amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. We explained exactly the type of safari, lodges/camps, and overall experience we were looking for and the team crafted the perfect itinerary for us - taking into consideration that my husband doesn’t like flying, while I don’t like long car rides! After many months of fine-tuning our itinerary, we finalized what ultimately became the best trip for us. In advance of our travel, Pendo also provided all of the useful information we needed, including a packing list, safari guide, information on visas, COVID testing requirements, and more.
We began our trip in North Serengeti, and upon arrival at the airstrip there, we were greeted by our amazing guide/driver, Mwita. It became clear instantly that Mwita was a true expert in all things safari, from the animals to the driving. During our time on safari, we were able to see THREE river crossings of the Great Migration in North Serengeti, all of the animals you could possibly see in the Central Serengeti, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, gazelles, hippos, buffalos and more, the endangered and rare black rhino in Ngorongoro Crater, hundreds of elephants in Tarangire and more. In addition to his expertise around the major animals spotted on safari, our guide Mwita was also extremely knowledgeable about birds, and we spotted dozens of ibis, storks, lilac breasted rollers, pelicans, egrets, herons and rare eagles. We were often among the first, if not the first, to arrive to see key animal sightings.
Mwita was also an excellent driver, and navigated the dirt roads of the national parks and the highways outside the parks with great skill. We always felt very safe in Mwita’s car, and it turns out he actually has taught many safari guides how to drive!
Our trip was also enhanced by the strong relationships that Lion King Adventures has with the beautiful lodges and camps throughout Tanzania, and the respect that all other companies and accommodations clearly show for Lion King. Mwita knew many of the other drivers and guides throughout our trip, and received very valuable information via the radio in our safari vehicle that helped us to see some of the best animals. Over the course of our 11 days, Mwita became like family and in addition to his expertise, he is also a wonderful person, passionate about Tanzania, animals, nature, family and more.
What made our trip so great was that Mwita was an expert in both the big things, like where and when to spot the best animals and how to navigate the parks, to the small things like shortcut roads and where we could find good bathrooms all throughout our journey! Overall, our safari far exceeded even our greatest expectations thanks to Mwita’s expertise and the Lion King team selecting such stunning and luxurious accommodations for us at each destination.
After our safari, we also arranged a single-day partial hike of Mt. Kilimanjaro with Lion King Adventures. Upon arrival in Moshi, Mwita introduced us to our trekking guide, Imran. Before we even set out for the day, we realized that Imran was a true Kilimanjaro pro - he has been climbing there for over 12 years, and has summitted over 200 times!
We had a very memorable day hike, getting to see the first base camp Mandara Hut and the Maundi Crater. Imran always put safety first, while also gauging our preferred pace and pointing out notable things along the way, such as mountain flowers, waterfalls, birds and rare black & white Colobus monkeys! Imran was also very thoughtful and stopped us for numerous photo opportunities to help us memorialize our hike! It was a great end to our time in Tanzania - being able to say you’ve climbed part of Kili is something you’ll never forget - and I’d also strongly recommend it as part of any Tanzania travel itinerary.
All in all, our safari and hiking experiences were truly “once in a lifetime”. We left Tanzania very happy with how our vacation went, extra grateful that we chose Lion King Adventures for our journey, and quite sad to have to leave. It’s also worth noting that my husband and I have been very careful with COVID-19 and we were quite worried about traveling so far from home ahead of our trip, but the entire 11-day adventure was very COVID-safe, we never felt concerned at any point, and all of the accommodations that Lion King selected had strict pandemic protocols in place to ensure guests’ safety.
I’d highly recommend Mwita, Imran, and the entire Lion King Adventures team to anyone and everyone looking to travel to Tanzania for safari, trekking and more and we hope to come back again ourselves one day!

AMAZING!!
This was an amazing experience that I will never forget... Throughout the whole trip de staff provided us with assistance and guidance which made the experience a lot better than expected. We also got the chance to meet people and made friends from other countries and different cultures. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to live something special.

Safari Exceeded Expectations!
Good Earth Tours exceeded our expectations and made our honeymoon truly unforgettable. Everything was taken care of from the moment we arrived at the airport, to the moment we departed. Narry, the co-owner of the company, was very informative and honest. He never pressured us into booking and never misled us, as other tour companies had done. After doing a lot of research, I found that Good Earth Tours offered the best value for the accommodations and game drives we were receiving. Other companies were charging thousands more! Narry made the planning and booking process very easy for us, and I was confident that we would be in good hands. He answered every e-mail and any questions we had very quickly, even on his own personal days off. Upon arrival, Narry went out of his way and took the time to greet us on the first day of our trip! Richard was our tour guide for the week. He was very kind and personable. He ensured that we saw everything we dreamed of seeing on our safari and more! He was extremely knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and provided us with a lot of information about the animals, villages, and country. He helped make every moment of everyday count, as we enjoyed game drives from sunrise to sunset. Every day was exciting! Richard took us through Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Central Serengeti, and the Northern Serengeti over the course of the week. It was the perfect itinerary for us. We were so fortunate to end our safari by observing huge herds during the Great Migration, and we even saw a huge wildebeest herd crossing the Mara River! Richard ensured that we had the best views and knew exactly where to take us. He was an excellent driver and we always felt safe. We returned home with the most beautiful photographs to show our friends and family. We were very grateful to have Richard with us for the week! Our jeep was very comfortable and was cleaned after each day. Every lodge and camp that Good Earth booked for us was extremely clean, had excellent staff, and amazing food. We were always comfortable and very well fed! We would highly recommend Good Earth tours to anyone looking to book an amazing safari and trip of a lifetime!

magic moments in the wild !!!
I went on safari with Mufasa tours as a solo female traveler. I was a little nervous at first just because I didn't know what to expect but I had the BEST time!!! Patrick was my driver and guide and he was wonderful! I ended up doing 11 days / 10 nights in Kenya exploring Amboseli NP, Aberdare, Lake Niavasha, Lake Nakuru, Samburu and the great Maasai Mara. These were all truly remarkable places filled with unique and beautiful wildlife and with the kindest people. The lodges i stayed at were all amazing, comfortable, clean, spectacular and had some cool moments of animals as well. Patrick, my guide, was always trying to get me to see everything we possible could and boy did we! He was kind, friendly and informative. i got the 4x4 jeep and literally had it all to myself and it was amazing!!! I love photography and to be able to move all around and get shots from wherever i wanted was the best. They were very fast to get back to my request and questions and were very easy to work with. I feel very blessed to have gotten to enjoy just a little bit of what Kenya has to offer and i highly recommend Mufasa!!! Great travel facilitators
I would love to recommend Mufasa travel as I have had a great experience in exploring national parks in Kenya.
Peter was my driver on a five day safari tour i took in July 2021 along with my daughter.
He showed us more than we expected:) we were finding sleeping lions in bushes and giving way to rihno crossing our path.
Acoomodation provided was very good as well as all the travel options including pick up and drop off.

Let me preface this review by saying that I rarely use travel agents as I enjoy researching and planning vacations. However, for a bucket list Africa trip, I wanted to make sure it was done right and was at a bit of a loss. Chalo was recommended by a friend who sang Sangeeta’s praises and am happy to report the accolades are well earned. My expectations were exceeded!
The biggest advantage Chalo provides is their knowledge about Africa (in our case, S Africa, Krueger, Namibia) and their incredible on the ground service. Our trip was shortened by one day because United Airlines cancelled our connecting flight (that’s a very different review, lol) and we missed the flight into Johannesburg. Whilst we were hurriedly getting retested for COVID due to expiring test results for S African entry, Sangeeta and team did the Lord’s work notifying various hotels/lodges, reconfiguring tours and itineraries and reticketing intra and intercountry flights (intracountry flight to Krueger, intercountry to Namibia). Her team did this quickly and with no effort on my part and I appreciated not having to worry about these changes.
Even more critically, Chalo has an extremely reliable agent on the ground in S Africa. Stanley met us at the airport to introduce himself. That alone assured me I was in good hands. However, Stanley’s benefit really came into sharp focus when the COVID testing lab produced “inconclusive” results for my son at 10pm when we were supposed to fly to Namibia at 10am! Even prior to that, Stanley was on the phone really pushing the lab for 3 hours, just to locate the status of our results as they had mistyped our email and the results were lost to the ether. I cannot imagine having to deal with this lab and communicate the quandary. Stanley ended up taking a cab to our hotel at 5:30am in order to personally walk us into the lab at the airport at 6am
To make sure we got retested in time for our 10am flight. EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE!
Finally, I know I haven’t referenced the actual itinerary. It was amazing! We loved our safari lodge (Simbavati Amani) and the hotels in Namibia (Sossusvlei Lodge and Olive Tree guesthouse in Windhoek). We had great guides in the safari and the food was spectacular. Sossusvlei was ethereal and magical and I would never have thought about visiting unless Sangeeta had suggested it. However, lots of different travel planners would be able to provide wonderful itineraries - where Chalo stands out is the attention to detail, amazing communication (seriously, they are so quick to respond and happy to entertain any number of questions and changes), and fantastic service in the event of hiccups.
What I thought of us as a bucket list vacation was such an amazing experience, thanks to Chalo, that we are already taking about our next trip to Africa. Not bucket list anymore, it is now my favorite place to visit, and I can’t wait to go back!

Jeff was perfect!
He arrived early for our pickup time. We immediately proceeded to Maasai Mara. Along the way, the road became a bit bumpy because it was unpaved. I was sitting in the back seat so I felt the brunt of it. Jeff noticed and invited me to come to the front seat where I would have a better experience. I agreed and he stopped the jeep to let me switch seats. That was just one of the many times that Jeff knew what I needed before I did.
Jeff was very knowledgeable and skilled at locating the animals. We saw 4 out of the big 5 during our safari. The highlight was chasing a hunting cheetah then racing off to see hyenas just as they overtook a wildebeest. It was a perfect ending to our first day at Maasai Mara.
As a travel professional, I had many requests and Jeff was very accommodating. His expertise and attentiveness to my needs as well as the needs of the group created a very enjoyable our experience for us and we look forward to going again.

Amazing Safari!
El safari ha sido espectacular, estuvimos 4 días entre Tarangire, Serengeti y Ngorongoro. El guía, Fua nos trató genial, al igual que desde la agencia, les estamos muy agradecidos por todo. The safari was amazing, we were 4 days in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Fua the guide was an amazing guy, he treat us very well, same as the company, we are very happy with them.
