A romantic getaway to Loisaba luxury camp
5/5

I was looking for a romantic getaway for my wife's birthday and I found a safari to Loisaba luxury camp in Laikipia from African Challenge Safaris. On the day of arrival Mr Ken surprised my wife with flowers and a bottle of wine, she was so delighted. The staff at Loisaba were so friendly and gave us great service. The food was really enjoyable. Our safari experience was just amazing thanks to Mr Ken. We will definitely come back

Thank you Mr Ken and everyone who made our romantic getaway a success

Fabulous experience with young kids of 7 and 5
5/5

The experience was excellent from the quality of the car (amazingly comfortable Land Cruiser ) and most importantly the excellent experience provided by our Guide Elly !!! He has been awesome with us and our 2 kids aged 7 and 5 - he explained the wild life rules, the local traditions, helped us connect with the the Masai and local communities and schools : He went above and beyond to make this safari an unforgettable experience and his experience and determination has allowed us to see some incredible animals and live a unique experience !! Definitely recommended.

Fantastic wildlife sightseeing

Sabi Sand offers a high density and variety of animals as well as breathtaking scenery and lush nature. On our first game drive we saw all of the Big 5. Being in the reserve in early December, we happened to see many baby animals including young lions, elephants and giraffes.
The possibility of driving in open-air vehicles off-road makes the experience truly exceptional, as the animals are approached up close. Also this way it is possible to see animals (such as leopards and wild dogs) that do not tend to walk along the road. Finally, the company of experienced guides ensures an extremely enjoyable three-hour safari drive. Our stay at the lodge was very relaxing and made the whole experience wonderful. Definitely highly recommended.

About: Namibia
Epic landscape and lovely people
Overall rating
5/5

We did an 11 day wildlife, dunes and canyons trip, booked by Indigo safaris and organised locally by Chameleon safaris.

From the time we landed to the time we left, we saw amazing landscapes - it’s really a breathtaking variety of dunes, mountains, desert, canyons, and coast. I’d recommend Namibia highly just for the landscapes.

For wildlife, the drive up to Etosha national park is smooth. There are lots of gravely paths inside and out of Etosha (be ready for the “African massage”), but with a decent vehicle and a good driver, it’s all fine. In Etosha, we spotted lots of birds, rhinos, giraffes, ostrich, zebras and also a pack of lions and hyena from a distance, but really wildlife spotting is a game of time and patience (and this was our safari taster and so we have nothing to compare it with). Our guide Tinashe was excellent though in trying to make sure we see as many different animals in the two days of game driving in Etosha as possible. Also, we didn’t go in the peak season.

Everywhere we went, the places where we were staying were super comfortable, including the camping bits (it was a mix of lodges and camps) and the people. I’m a vegetarian, but still could find enough options in super markets for me.

There was no sense of the place being over touristy or people hounding tourists. It was more of a sense of appreciation of tourists for their contribution to the economy (of course you have to be a responsible tourist and appreciate that you are in the wild - in pure nature and not a park). So all in all the experience was very enjoyable, refreshing and peaceful.

Perfectly organized 20-day trip to the Pearl of Africa
5/5

We can highly recommend Home to Africa. We were on a 20-day trip with them. The itinerary was amazing. They adjusted the tour according to our wishes. In the end, we had the most amazing trip with so many different activites.
Our driver / guide, Karim, made our trip perfect. He drove us around safely while spotting tons of animals and in the meantime he also explained us so many things about the history, culture, nature and the wildlife of Uganda.
He made sure that all our lodges were spottless and that we always were served great food. If we had any wishes, Karim would take care of it.

Thank you for making our trip to Uganda such a wonderful and unforgettable experience.

Great company, great value, great trip...
5/5

Meru Slopes were fantastic from start to finish. I booked the 5 day budget safari with them and had my expectations exceeded at every step. Communications with Geofrey before arrival were easy and comprehensive, airport pickup and accommodation before and after the safari were exactly as promised and the trip itself was superb. Our driver and guide, Jacob, was very professional, entertaining and extremely eagle eyed, identifying wildlife before we could even pick them up with binoculars. I don't think he missed anything during our game drives and he made sure we got every last minute possible out of them whether starting at dawn or ending at sunset. Our "stomach engineer" Moshi was also excellent, making sure we always had plenty of quality food (including vegetarian options if preferred). Based on my experience, I strongly recommend Meru Slopes and I hope to be back with them for future trips.
