I cannot complain about anything as being in nature was luxury for me being in the wilderness and heart of mother Africa. I was honored to be apart of this journey. My expectations were low at first but as soon as I arrived in Kenya & started my safari with Raymond I just couldn't believe the things and experiences I went through. Literally had the best time of my life! Saw all the top 5's except for the black Rhino, we also saw lions plenty of them and feeding on their kill, a vulture nesting with her child and a leopard, how remarkable.
Raymond he went beyond the extra mile for us making sure we saw all the animals up close and personal we even got stuck in the mud a few times but that was fun the adrenaline of it all was impeccable. I cannot express how grateful I am and I want to let everyone know that it was a beautiful experience. The weather was amazing surprisingly after the safari it was raining quite a lot so I was blessed.

Perfection
My husband and I booked a month long holiday with Marieke and Marijnke of African Travels. In January 2020 we arrived in Cape Town to begin the 30 day journey that was perfect in every way. From our initial meeting in Cape Town to our airport drop off in Tanzania 30 days later, all was perfectly orchestrated. There were open lines of communication at all times. Our guide and driver in Cape Town was a remarkable human being and a knowledgeable, well informed citizen of this unimaginably beautiful city. All of the guides, drivers and tour companies we dealt with on this trip were top notch. The hand off from one country to another was seamless. There are no words to describe how absolutely satisfied we were with African Travels. This trip went far beyond our expectations leaving us with indelible memories of people, places and experiences.

Was a pleasant trip
We ordered 1 day before the safari via whatsup. Everything went quite smooth. We got a pickup at the airport, hotel before departure, hotel after comming back from the safari amd transport to the airport which we upgraded by having the guy to take us to the waterfall under kilimanjaro and visit a coffee farm where we made a coffee from the bean to the cup and had a banana wine. Very nice experience.
In the safari we’ve visited Serengeti, Ngoro-ngoro and tarangire. Except rhinos(which we saw from very far) we saw all the big animals and the experience was amazing.
Be prepared to be in a big jeep on the very bumpy roads with not much chance to get out of the car in the parks due to the park policy. The whole safari is very tiring. So get ready. But its really worth it!!!
We slept in the tents which was also very cool. Above ngoro ngoro there came in the night buffalos right in between the tents and serengeti we had few hyenas walking through the camp. Super cool:)
About suricata all thenorganisation was very easy, all was taken care of and the food was thanks to the great chef amazing! Everything what was promised was fulfilled
To give a recommendation If we went again we would choose a to go just 4 of us and driver and a chef. We went in 6 plus the tqo surricata guys and the car was a bit packed. Not really a problem but if we would have a bigger bags i think we would be squeezed.
We enjoyed the trip a lot with surricata and highly recommend this company

Perfect 2 week honeymoon.
We booked our 2 week honeymoon through Anya and from start to finish she was so kind, helpful and gave an all round excellent service - we couldn't recommend her highly enough.
We had a vague idea of a route through the Eastern Cape to Western Cape in mind but Anya recommended places to stay (and reasons why), activities to do and was on hand to answer any questions we had very quickly, including changing plans last minute. She even sorted extra bits for us such as arranging to have someone collect us in Johannesburg to help transfer us to our next flight, she recommended several places for NYE and booked a restaurant for us and even managed to get us an upgrade on our car.
Our luggage was lost from leaving London (through no fault, except the airline) but Anya made sure we were sorted and OK, even though she was on her own holiday outside of South Africa.
All of our accommodation was excellent (we're rating them all 5*) and the safari was simply incredible.
To be honest we were slightly anxious about booking with a local company, but we can't recommend the company and Anya highly enough.

Great Budget Safari
We chose a 5 day safari that included Masai Mara, Lake Navisha and Amboseli and opted to extend to 6 days. A few things to keep in mind when booking your own safari 1. The mini vans used for the safari are not the most comfortable and 2 people out of a possible 8 will NOT have window seats (but will have access to the roof). 2. They are not four wheel drive so if there is a lot of mud you WILL get stuck. 3. There is a lot of driving between parks (4-6 hours depending on where you go).
Our guide Albert was great. He took into consideration what everyone in our group wanted to see and paid very close attention to the radio to make sure that we didn't miss anything. He was also a fantastic driver.
Our accommodations were a mixed bag. Lenchada Tourist camp has a baboon problem and several tents have holes in them where the monkeys sneak into during the day. The food and staff there were great though.
We also stayed at Navisha Resort, which was fantastic. We were able to take a boat to crescent island and walk around with the animals. Definitely a MUST do if you are tired of sitting in a car. In Amboseli we stayed at Kibo lodge which was a luxury camp site just on the boarder of the park. Gift shop was over priced and we had the worst bloody mary from the bar- but everything else was fantastic and the perfect place to end our adventure.
Over all, very good value for the money, well worth it.

I highly recommend African Savannah Trekkers for your experience in Tanzania. I selected the 4 day, 3 night Northern Tanzania safari and it was great. My communication with African Savannah Trekkers was good with fast, clear responses. They delivered on everything that was promised in the trip outline. I found their website to be more precise than others where they specify certain trips for a certain price.

Amazing Safari Tour Service ❤
First at all, I want to show my appreciation to this magnific Safari tour that in all the tour they had an incredible service in all the senses. Me and my friends we had 3 days safari with Smile With Us and from the first day we had very good connection with the driver and the cheff (Thanks Amani and Erasto), they explain to us everything about the animals and spots that we had during the trip. The cheff was awesome with all the breakfasts, lunchs n dinners. People was jealous from us for having such an amazing meals jajaja TOP!. #Erasto number 1. The driver was totally good in the whole trip. We enjoyed so much with him, his pattient and good humour with us for taking pictures everywhere and talk about everything of the safari was very good. He struggled a lot to search the best animals around for looking at them. The jeep is super comfortable, the roof is nice to have other views. The windows is ok. Generally, the car is perfect for the tour. Thank you so much Amani. Finally the conection by whatsapp with the guy fixing the planing and the options for the safari was very good. He answer really fast and help in everything u need if u have doubts about the trip. So if I have to give a rate to this marvelous team is 100 of 10.
