We booked the "3 Days Private Lodge Safari" in Serengeti and Ngorongoro for the end of July in January 2021, and we can say that our safari was over our expectations. From the very first, Jackson was very open minded of the Covid-19 situation in Europe and he offered us a full refund policy due to cancellation related to Covid-19, we kept in touch during the period until the safari started, and he even made an update to our accomodation, because the prices changed in Tanzania. The team he selected for our safari was more than we could ask for, the chemistry was great, and we had a great time together. Jonathan our driver was very skillful in handling the rough terrain, and he also kept in touch with the other drivers to improve our game drive experience, thanks to him we managed to see many animals, includind a cheetah on a hunt, a rhino in serengeti, a leopard, lions, elephants, giraffes and many more. Jatan our guide had a vast knowledge about african fauna and flora, we could not ask him a question for which he did not have an answer, he also was very good at spotting animals. The food was tasty and the car was confortable. The day we left Arusha Jackson even managed to take us to the Cultural Heritage Centre in Arusha which we really wanted to see, but we tought we would not manage to. All in all I can only recommend this tour operator, because they truly put an efort to offer you the best experience you can get.

Gosheni Safaris Listens and Delivers – A Class Above the Others (Read Below)
Thinking about an African safari, I did quite a bit of research to learn about the top safari sights. I reached out to a couple of travel agents to see if they could arrange a trip to include the locations I wanted to see. Each came back with a cookie-cutter tour, with less than half of the tour including what I wanted and way over-priced. I decided to try Trip Advisor as I had success is using it back in 2014 for a Berlin tour guide. I came across Gosheni Safaris. It had well over 1,000 excellent reviews. I decided to give Gosheni Safaris a chance and reached out to them. I sent an email in the evening and I had a response the next morning. Peter Rovert, owner of Gosheni Safaris, listened to I wanted to visit. He and his staff planned an itinerary to include all the Tanzania sights on my list, including referring me to a partner company so I could visit Victoria Falls while I was in Africa. Gosheni Safaris provided a variety of lodging options to choose from and optional activities that we could do if we chose. Gosheni Safaris was very responsive and helpful throughout the planning process. Their communication and attention to detail instilled confidence in their ability to deliver. Gosheni Safaris planned a 10-day itinerary allowing us to visit Tarangire National Park, central and northern sections of Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara National Park.
When we landed in Tanzania, they did not disappoint. We were so impressed with their personnel, companies and camps hired to accommodate us. The tented camps booked for us were great; personnel, tents and food. The Gosheni Safaris tour guide, Ombeni, was great. He helped us spot the “Big Five” in one day. The Gosheni Safaris vehicle was excellent, very well-maintained, heated and air-conditioned with a refrigerator restocked every day. The vehicle roof opened up so you could stand up and see out, but yet provided shade in direct sun. The cloth seat covers were freshly ironed each morning. The attention to detail was extraordinary, just as it has been during the planning and communication process.
Gosheni Safaris handled all the details for our COVID tests required for our flight home. Who knew you could get a COVID test in the middle of the Serengeti?!
It became quite apparent that Gosheni Safaris was in a class by itself when we hit the safari trail. Our tour guide was in leadership position in the national association of safari tour guides, and his experience and stature showed as we associated with other safari vehicles during the day. When it came time for lunch, most other safari tour companies brought out box lunches for their guest. Box lunches are not good enough for Gosheni Safaris. Our lunch was served on linen tablecloths and napkins, porcelain tableware and silverware. Lunches were a three-course affair, served piping hot or cold, depending upon the dish. Each lunch started with soup, followed by three or four options for meats and vegetables followed by fresh fruit for dessert. It was interesting to see how many guests of other safari tour companies would stare at us and our lunch as they walked by at picnic areas. Gosheni Safaris had arranged for each place where we stayed the night to prepare our lunches in the morning before we left each day. Bottled water and our choice of beverage was provided on demand or our discretion throughout the day.
Ombeni, our tour guide, was very courteous, professional and friendly. He was excellent in spotting wildlife. He was very accommodating in providing excellent vantage points to take photos of wildlife and landscapes. He accompanied us wherever we went, to ensure things went smoothly, and working out any wrinkles if there were any. Ombeni was truly a joy to work with; we could not have asked for a better guide.
It was great to meet Peter Robert, owner of Gosheni Safaris and person with whom I had communicated, several times on our journey. I am glad I had the opportunity to tell him personally how impressed we were with the experience we had with his company and staff.
I highly recommend Gosheni Safaris. I will definitely use Gosheni Safaris again if I have the opportunity to return to Tanzania.

Professionals who have great care for their customers
We had a great time on our safari. Our guide Fidelis (the cheetah whisperer) went above and beyond to make our safari a memorable one. We were happy to have such a well experienced guide, who not only helped us see all of the amazing wildlife (Lions, cheetahs, leopards, rhinos, etc), but also explained the interesting culture, history and traditions of Tanzania.
The car we had was nice and new. We had delicious, fresh food every day. We were very spoiled!
Would definitely recommend Gosheni to anyone who is planning to visit Tanzania. You won’t find another company with this level of care.

Amazing! Better than we could have hope for =)
Our whole experience with Gosheni Safari was better than anything we could have hoped for. The pre-trip organization with Pendo was effortless and she managed to find the perfect solution for us. Once we arrived we experienced excellent service and a friendly welcome from everyone involved including all the staff at the camps and especially Fidelis, our driver and guide. He really did go above and beyond to make sure we had the experience of a lifetime - seeing all the animals up closer than we had dared to dream and even organizing an extra change to our plan to make sure we saw a River Crossing up North. We have good reasons to call him the Cheetah Whisperer =) We are very thankful to Gosheni Safari for not only having organized a wonderful trip, but also for upgrading us to better accommodation options free of charge for many nights and making us feel truly welcome!

Our tour guides were George and Arthur. They are amazing, well spoken, clear communication, well organized in arranged tours and safaris. They are reliable and the service was top notch. This trip was totally worth it-value for money. They ensured we got the real deal of Victoria Falls. Beautiful amazing country.

This has to be one of the best travel experiences for me and my family ! Antony , the owner at Tazama really knows his stuff . He is amazing at his job of ensuring the clients get what they come for .. The big 5 and more ! He is extremely friendly and courteous. Also very patient which is what is required . The choice of places were very impressive. They were always available when required .. Overall great experience ! Highly recommend Tazama for all Kenya experience !
