Splendid 9 Days Family Vacation
5/5

My family started our Tanzania trip with Vervet Tours from our hotel in Arusha with Melkior as our guide. We had an extremely wonderful time: 1 day in Lake Manyara where we did the board walkway in the morning and nice game drive in the afternoon, 5 days exploring different parts of Serengeti National Park, game drives, hippos pool and balloon safari, 2 days in Ngorongoro Conservation Area, we did the famous Ngorongoro crater visit, Maasai boma visit and local elementary school.
We saw lots of animals including all the big 5, birds, and breathtaking scenery. Of special mention are the beautiful and friendly people we met in Tanzania who made our trip worthwhile.
We would love to do another visit soon.

Perfect Travel Companion ensuring security, comfort and enriching experience.
5/5

We had life changing experience in Tanzania. Meeting dedicated and hardworking citizens, knowing about the country's rich history, culture and ofcourse wildlife Safari ! For both me and my husband the countless number of Animal Planet and Discovery Channel episodes of Wildlife took life and suddenly broadened our horizon! Safari was an entirely new experience for us and we are sure we would like to engage in more such experiences in future. A large part of this credit goes to Earthlife Expedition!!!
Special credit goes to our Travel Partner Paul from Earthlife Expedition who was the perfect host for us. It was the time around Christmas that we took this trip. Paul, had no regrets about being away from family. He made us his family and took care of every detail of our trip. Earthlife Expedition had detailed out our trip in quite an elaborate manner covering Tarangeri, Serengeti and Ngorongoro National Parks. Our Safari was ofcourse a success given we sighted the big 5 :D
The stay was planned in high quality camps and lodges. Food was good in each of them. The staff at these lodges was welcoming and assuring of a safe stay even when we were in the middle of the jungle.

We would highly recommend earthlife expedition to people who are planning to take Safari in Tanzania and nearby contries.

We thank them for helping us create so many lifetime memories. We wish them all the best for a very bright future!

Compass Odyssey deserves its 5/5 rating.
5/5

From the first inquiry to the end of our trip, Darren was outstanding in providing a service with the aim of ensuring we had a holiday that met all our needs and expectations, leaving nothing to chance. We were never left wondering or waiting for a response.
Darren took the time to listen and understand our brief. Senalala Lodge delivered a beautiful understated, high quality standard of accommodation, meals and safari drives that left us with wonderful memories of a beautiful country full of extraordinary wildlife and a unique landscape. The extra touches such as the managers, James and Corlia and their outstanding guides joining us for meals made the whole experience very rewarding. We learnt that their lives are much broader than the Big 5.
If you ever thought a Safari was about driving around on a set route looking at the same animals then you will be in for a real treat at Senalala Lodge. Whilst on an early morning walk, we glanced side-wards to discover the surprise of a life time – a large white Rhino. With our guide's great skill we were able to spend time observing this magnificent beauty. Our guides, Ivan and Connor, had the greatest respect for the wildlife yet ensured our safety at all times.
We have no hesitation in recommending Compass Odyssey to travellers who like adventure combined with simple luxury and every detail ticked off. To know that there is a local person on the ground with every resource at his finger-tips was very reassuring.

Gladys, the sales representative planned a formidable itinerary for our family, according to our requests. She took good care of every little detail, small ones as well as the big ones. She came to brief us at the hotels, in order to make sure everything is clear and to go through safety regulations.
Our safari guide, William picked us up from Kilimanjaro airport and his welcoming smile, as well as the nice picnic he organized next to our Jeep was a sign for what’s expected for us ahead.
William turned out to be very professional , patient with a profound understanding of the animals and always happy to handle any request.
The Vehicle was brand new and had been washed every night and the food was above our expectations. We especially liked the picnic with the hot lunch.

Self drive and Safari with driver
5/5

We visited Tanzania in february for a month with our family with 2 children of 1 and 4 years old. We rented a Landcruiser with driver for a 11 day safari to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti and Lake Natron. After that we did a self drive from Arusha to Dar es Salaam in a Rav4. The cars were brought to the airport and our accommodation. They are not the newest but they are reliable and carefully looked after.

The contact with Didas (and the other staff) was excellent. He responded very quickly on all our questions and was always available. Moreover he gave us useful suggestions for accommodation and the planning of our trip and he arranged 2 children seats free of charge.

Special thanks to Dixon who was not only our driver, but also a great guide and great person.

If you want to be flexible and plan your own trip in Tanzania we strongly recommend Gladio adventures!

great travel in Tanzania
5/5

My friends and I stayed at the hostel on the first day and the last day of our travel.
We received a warm hospitality from Nelson and Adam(the hostel people), and they invited us to drink at night. It was so good time!
In the safari tour, Herman(the guide) showed us the Tarangire, serengeti, and Ngorongoro. He kindly stopped a car according to our animal watching pace.
So we took our time watching many kinds of mammals.
Personally, it was nice to be able to watch serval cats. They were so tiny and cute!
Also regarding arrangement of meal and accommodation at both safari and hostel, and pick-up between the airport and the hostel, it was so great and smooth.
Our travel was very comfortable all the time, except that often the shower got only water(but it was no problem). Thank you so much!
