Out of this world experience
We had a better time than we anticipated on our recent seven day safari through Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.
There were not many people and we fot to see wild animals in their natural habitat.
Basili even organized for a hot air balloon safari and it was magical watching the animals from above.
We stayed in beautifully appointed lodges all through and it was splendid.
The weather was great and we had rain-free game drives all through.

Top Massai Mara experience
The tour was a great experience. The communication was easy and exact. I was picked up on time and off we went. I had a very nice group of fellow travellers. James Munyiri Wanjiru was our guide and I highly recommend him. Ask for him. He is extremely nice and knows a lot and the best places to discover the wildlife. If you have the chance, choose him. The scenery was great. I stayed in a tented camp and would do it again. In the evening we sat around the campfire with the Maasai. I was also very impressed by the visit to the Maasai village. We were given a very warm welcome and individual attention. Every question was allowed. Thank you very much James for this wonderful experience. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Outstanding Company!
Being a retired teacher, I was really impressed with the thought and detail that was put into our itinerary by Darren. The length of stay at each location was enough time that we didn’t feel rushed and Darren planned every detail down to the names and pictures of our escorts, drivers and accommodations. Our trip included travel to, and stays in, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Every place we stayed, the accommodations were excellent and the food was outstanding and plentiful. We enjoyed Safaris with local guides, scenic boat rides, as well as visits to both sides of Victoria Falls, and even a visit to a local township and school where our local drivers live. Our drivers, Ruth and Mortimer, made all of our border crossings easy and stress free. Not only did they escort us across each of the border crossings, they took us to our new accommodations and helped us check-in! The lodges chosen for us were all exceptional, and Senalala Lodge and its staff will always hold a special place with us.
We communicated directly with Darren on WhatsApp throughout our trip and he was always very prompt with his responses.
So many great experiences and memories. We will definitely use Compass Odyssey when we return to Africa.

Fabulous Kenya Safari
I visited Kenya in May 2022 and my trip was planned by Image Travel Limited out of Nairobi. Communication with them was very easy and replies to queries always timely. My accommodations were excellent and all arrangements were done by ITL with no problems whatsoever encountered during my trip. But most importantly, they were able to craft an itinerary for me which was absolutely perfect in every way. I would highly recommend this safari outfitter to anyone planning an African safari.

An enjoyable experience thanks to a professional operator
I was in touch with Bakari for about a week before my 1-day private safari to Tanrangire, and throughout he was both prompt and professional in his communications. His itinerary was detailed and his details/quote very clear. Eventually, even though I made a last-minute decision to go on a safari, he was able to accommodate my request. Plus, Aquila's rates are most competitive - all great!
On the day, my guide was Laurian, who is knowledgeable, polite and professional. He is also a climbing guide, and understand the local culture deeply - so if you like to understand history and society of the region, he is a good guy to speak to. We were lucky to be able to see most big animals that day (lions, leopard, elephants, wildebeest, giraffe), which made the trip all the more worthwhile, and I thank Laurian for his good intuition and timing to know where to be at the right time. Overall, highly recommended for all the above reasons!

Phenomenal experience from start to finish!
Our experience with African welcome Safari was exceptional. Kathi who handled all of our bookings for the entire trip and paid a great deal of attention to our needs and expectations. The trip stayed within our budget and the value for the money was better than expected. The tours in Cape Town, the Winelands and Safari were ALL wonderful. Our tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Our hotel accommodations were wonderful and what we were expecting. We traveled with our daughter and husband and you would think that it would be hard to to please all 4 people. Somehow we all came away extremely satisfied with the entire trip. I highly recommend using African Welcome Safari. You will not be disappointed!!
