The best
I went on a group safari tour of 5 days in the first week of June with my boyfriend. We found Taswira through the good reviews. We arrived the evening before the start of the safari and they came to the airport and brought us to our hotel for that night. They were very clear with instructions and expectations for the next day. The driver Johnson was very friendly and helping, you can have a great chat with him and ask him all your questions, even the dumb ones. We booked midrange and got upgraded 2 nights to luxury thanks to the owner of Taswira, George. He informs you very well, you can call him when there are issues and he will help you any way he can. After the safari, we had a drink with him and Johnson. You can see they are a team and just want you to have the best time and show their country and the beautiful animals. When you're scared of getting close to the lions or cheetahs, Johnson will soothe you and explain what to do when something might happen, but mostly they are harmless because they are kinda used to the cars by now. Johnson will give you clear instructions on what not to do. He is a great spotter, we were almost always arriving first at a group of animals. I'd recommend going in June, the weather is great, not too warm, not cold and theres not that many tourists yet. We also visited a local Masai village, beware they will ask for money to visit the village, while their tour is only 15minutes long. We went to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngoro Ngoro and Lake Manyara. They are all so cool, Ngoro Ngoro has the best views and nature! In Tarangire you will find soooo many elephants. Serengeti you will find a lot of lions and we were lucky to see some chetahs very close to the car. Also a lot of Pumba's haha and hippo's. We slept one night in Serengeti and it was truly magical. Everyone is so friendly everywhere, they make you feel very at home. We stayed two nights in Suricata Lodge, we were only the 10th guests since it just opened. It was amazing, the staff is very friendly and helpful. They are very well trained and you will feel like you're in a 5 star resort. The architecture of the whole place is breathtaking and you have a view over Lake Manyara. The tented camps in de parks are also very comfortable and have great views. When the chef comes with you, you will have the best food, I swear Taswira has the best cook! I would say a 4 day safari would also be enough, but I was glad we did 5 days. We saw so many beautiful animals and almost all of the big five, only the rhinos are difficult to spot, they were very far from the paths so we couldnt see them up close sadly. You will definitley see elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, buffalos and lions! And maaaaany monkeys haha. We had the best time and i would go back immediately if i could. Mesmerizing Namibia - I'll be back
What can I say? We've had an absolute blast, traveling through Namibia. Soooo many good new memories!
We booked our trip a bit last minute but had amazing support from Viatu to get all the information in time. The recommended route was perfect and to be honest, I was a bit 'scared' of the long distances in between the spots as I've read a lot of blogs, etc. before. And I didn't want to sit 'just in the car'. But the route was planned so well and we ended up having one long drive, then some short drives and then a long drive again. So it was very well balanced.
My absolute highlight was the north around Hoanib / Shipwreck Coast and if I would have booked it myself, I wouldn't have gone there (due to distance and also as it is quite a challenge to organize it) so thanks for putting it on our itinerary :)
As I usually organize trips myself (haven't booked through an agency in years) I was a bit skeptical as I love my spontaneity/freedom. But now, as I was in Namibia and saw how many times we didn't have a proper (wifi) connection, I am super grateful we went with Viatu. It was so relaxed!

I traveled from Romania to Tanzania with my family, my husband and two daughters aged 7 and 3 and a half and another family with one daughter aged 10.
We met at Kilimajaro airport at 2 in the morning with the 4 guides from Lomo who awaited us with refreshments and a good mood, making a fantastic impression right from the start.
There were 5 gamedays of wonderful safaris, along which, the long but extraordinary road, took us with our wonderful guides, from Arusha, Tarangire National Park, then to reach Lake Manyara Park, Ngorongoro Crater, to finally reach in the spectacular Serengeti.
Throughout the 5 days full of adrenaline to the max, emotions, life in the car that took us from place to place, on these wonderful lands, but also quite demanding as well as comfort, being proud of my children that they absolutely resisted fantastic in everything that the Africa experience meant, and of course we wouldn't have succeeded without the Lomo team that was absolutely always by our side.
It was wonderful that we traveled so much with 4 different accommodations along the way because we got to know Africa, we managed to surprise the Maasai settlements and tribes, we arrived at local fruit and vegetable markets, we ate with the locals who are welcoming and attentive people.
I would repeat this experience anytime, especially since I defeated some personal fears, the habit of a different daily comfort, the fear of wild animals, especially during the 2 days spent at the tent in the heart of the Serengeti. Everything went great, we felt safe and nothing happened, I can say that I traveled with the necessary medicine kit but I didn't use it at all, I didn't even see a single mosquito in Africa, only wildebeests, zebras, impala, pumba, cheetahs, rhinoceros, elephants, monkeys, giraffes, lions and lionesses, wonderful birds, a multitude of beautiful situations, from picnic in the heart of nature, on the endless plains of the Serengeti to driving through Savannah, Jungle, Deserts..
I am grateful for everything I experienced in Africa and thank you Lomo team for making everything possible.

Unforgettable Safari Adventure
Found Director George to be most prompt & helpful with all enquiries regarding our safari.
We visited Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara with Michael who was very informative and obliging, showing us the best of both parks before handing us over to Raj at the Tanzanian border.
The border procedure was seamless thanks to Michael and Raj.
The Serengeti National Park was the highlight of our safari, thanks to Raj
We really enjoyed the Ngorongoro crater, it was an amazing sight, and our night at Rhino Lodge was full of old world charm and unforgettable.
We were handed to George at the Kenyan border for a tour of the Amboseli National Park.
All in all an amazing safari, that we will remember forever, thanks to some great organization and very comfortable accommodation.

It’s a really unforgettable experience! We went to Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Masaimara, and we saw all BIG FIVE and migration.
