Review about Tarangire National Park by Bob Lyle
Shockingly good park. Close to Arusha. I recommend a full day. Don't skip this one!

Awesome Experience
My daughter and I had an astoundingly wonderful safari experience with Martin Vigambo of Fede Tours and Logistics.
When exploring possible destinations and safari options for a 2020 trip, Martin very quickly responded to my online questions with helpful specifics about his safari recommendations, and clear options and cost levels from which to choose. In our first phone call, he said “I will be your driver and guide.” This level of personal service from the start led me to choose Fede Tours, and his personal commitment was evident throughout 3 years of delay (my choice) due to COVID, and through the entire safari experience.
Martin is very knowledgeable about the wildlife, terrain, history and culture of Kenya, and shares facts and stories at the perfect moment to enhance the experience of witnessing animals in the wild. He is a wise and careful driver, and I always felt safe in his vehicle, even in very rough terrain. His passion for the beauty and magic of his country is evident in his genuine joy in sharing.
I never dreamed we would see so many animals and such exciting moments (for example, both cheetahs and lions hunting and killing wildebeest). We saw every animal we’d hoped to see, and many more. Martin knew where to go and how to position our vehicle to see wildlife in action, while always respecting the animals’ needs for space. He took us to three parks (Samburu, Lake Nokuru and Maasai Mara), and knew them very well. He told detailed stories about individual animals and their specific family histories.
Martin selected very comfortable accommodations for us which surpassed our expectations. We particularly loved the personalized services at two smaller camps: Ashnil Camp at Samburu Park and Mtito Safari Camp at Maasai Mara. At both of these, the level of personalized attention and care was superb. One example: after a tour of the organic garden at Mtito, our dinner that evening featured the vegetables we said we most liked
A private safari offers an opportunity to learn about one’s guide as well as wildlife. When asked, Martin was open about the rich human culture of Kenya as well as his own life experiences. He was likewise interested in ours, while always careful to respect our privacy and comfort. We left Kenya with a dear friend in Martin.
Martin met our every request with ease, and a fun and playful spirit. From start to finish, he was true to his word and went above and beyond to make our experience the best it could possibly be. I cannot recommend Fede Tours and Martin Vigambo more highly.

Memorable lifetime experience of Kenya
This was our first visit to Africa. We are world travelers and we must say our first African safari was wonderful. We did a private tour of Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Naivasha. Emmah helped a lot in fine tuning what we wanted to see, when and in what sequence . We got a good 4X4 vehicle and Kim as our driver was great too. The game drives were awesome, the balloon ride in the sunrise was unbelievable and the hotels were good choices. Overall memories of a lifetime .

Great experience, go with the flow
We had a fantastic experience on the 4 day Masai Maara and Lake Nakuru Safari. Seth was very quick to respond to all communications. At some points we weren't exactly sure what our itinerary was, and we changed game drivers between Masai Maara and Lake Nakuru which was unexpected, but totally fine because we got to hear from the expertise of two different drivers. So, just go with the flow and they will take good care of you!
We were super lucky to see the big 5. Our first game driver, Peter, was fantastic and made sure we had an excellent experience in Masai Maara, and our second driver, Jimmy was also awesome and made sure we saw everything we wanted to see in Lake Nakuru NP. Food and accommodations were also great, and as expected.
Thanks for the great trip!

Amazing experience with delicious food and an incredible team
First time in Tanzania with my sister and had an amazing time with the team at Suricata. Our guide; Gordon was incredibly accommodating and made sure all members of our group were well taken care of. He also has a vast amount of knowledge to share and a keen eye for spotting the incredible wildlife in the parks. Our chef;
Tito also of himself with all the freshly prepared breakfast, lunch and dinners we had over for days. Food was top tier and catered to everyone's diets! All tents were prepared and packed perfectly each time we arrived at the campsites by the team of porters behind the scenes.
Speaking of camping, I am not a huge fan of it but this experience certainly made it a comfortable experience.
Transactions were handled smoothly and instructions were clear for each day and activity would proceed. Our group were also very lucky to have seen the big 5 and more on our first two days (four on the first day) with a day to spare. Would highly recommend this team. Asante sana! Thank you for having usp

Smooth planning process, well organized and flexible during the trip. Amazing team and perfect guide
The tour operator was great and while planning Edison suggested a great itinerary uniquely for our group of three including all our preferred activities with the possibility of adding optional activities along the way (Volcanoes National park for golden monkeys, Mt Sabyino hike & Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi).
Our guide Jackson made the trip even more special! His English was great and he was like an encyclopedia, could answer all our questions and had a great knowledge of culture / nature / society … anything we asked. Jackson was like our 4th friend in the group going on the trip with us, he even joined our Sabyino hike :) Jackson also overheard and noticed us not being overly excited about a buffet dinner at one lodge so he automatically changed the itinerary with Edison to accommodate us at a different lodge the next stay where they knew food was a la carte and great.
Would suggest Bamboo Eco Tours to all my friends and especially Jackson as their guide!

Perfect Safari
We saw a lot and had a great time thanks to Francis our amazing guide.
And Jocky Tours was even kind enough to let us change our program while we were on the safari. Well earned 5* for both Jocky tours and Francis!

Amazing. Guidance, service, knowledge and mist of all, friendship.
Peter is just great, from all round knowledge and campfire stories to driving skills to being flexible.
He always has a plan B for when nature doesn't cooperate and he always has a smile ready too.
Have been on a few trips with him and when I return, will definitely be with Peter too!

Very well organised and all we could wish for.
We did this tour with a group of 6 pax, starting from Kigali, Rwanda. Our tour guide Peter was already very communicative before the start of the tour and turned out to be an even nicer man in person. He was always on time, always atuned to our needs, and met all our wishes. When we had some hick ups due to our own groups lack of organisation, it was resolved quickly. Every single thing of our 3 day trip was organised in every small detail and extra wishes and changes were not a problem at all. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, we loved it.

Very professional and flexible with attention to details.
We recently embarked on a journey with African Big Cats, and it was truly a memorable experience! As a family of four (myself, my wife, and our two boys), we were keen to experience the diverse adventures Tanzania has to offer. We were thoroughly impressed with the variety of activities available through the tour operator, not just the conventional Jeep safari.
Communications: From the start, the team was responsive and accommodating, ensuring all our queries were promptly addressed.
Service: One of the highlights was the flexibility they offered. We loved that they catered to our desire for more than just a Jeep safari, incorporating hiking, cycling, and canoeing into our itinerary.
Value for Money: Given the diverse activities we engaged in and the overall quality of service, we found the package to be of excellent value.
Reliability: Throughout our safari, the itinerary was followed meticulously. There were no unexpected hitches, which made the experience smooth and enjoyable.
The Tour Itself: The Jeep safari was beyond words. Tanzania’s landscapes and wildlife are mesmerizing, and experiencing them up close was a dream come true. The canoeing segment was also a highlight for us. It was serene and allowed us to connect with nature in a different, intimate way.
A quick note for those passionate about hiking: while we had a pleasant stroll during our tour, if you're looking for a more extended hike, it might be worth discussing the duration with the operator in advance. Similarly, for our French-speaking friends, just double-check on the fluency of the guide if that's essential for your experience.
In conclusion, our safari with African Big Cats was an adventure we’ll cherish for years to come. The sheer beauty of Tanzania coupled with the operator’s excellent service made this trip unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking a unique and comprehensive safari experience.
