Sunworld has the best guides, especially Nick Maluki
We were lucky that Sunworld assigned Nick Maluki as our guide on our trip to Samburu. I could not have imagined a better guide for my first African safari. Nick was genuinely kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. Our four hour drive to Samburu went by quickly as we learned about life in Kenya from Nick. And then we got to the Samburu and Nick made sure that we saw all that it had to offer. His years of experience as a guide was obvious, but he was not at all jaded--he shared our enthusiasm for the animals with every sighting. And for those that love photography, he knew how to get all the right angles. The second half of our journey in Kenya was not coordinated by Sunworld and we knew that we were going to miss Nick. We were truly sad when we had to leave him behind.
The third part of my trip was again coordinated by Sunworld, and I felt grateful that Sunworld took care of every step, from airport transfers to hotel pick ups. Sunworld staff were always on time and always dependable. The only downside is that I would recommend that you have a good idea of what you want to do before contacting Sunworld. There was a bit of back and forth communication to get things all set up. But if you do know what you want, and where you want to go and when, go with Sunworld. And definitely ask to have Nick Maluki as your guide.

Lack of communication
Complete lack of communication. Had us pay for a person that wasn’t even there! If a deposit means something different in Tanzania than America it would have been nice to know. African Big Cats advertises one lodge on their website but downgrades last minute to another. The downgraded lodge is on the complete opposite side (East/West-of Zanzibar) and rooms smell terribly of mold/mildew. Two safari days were not needed (the first and last). Those need to be removed from the itinerary completely. Note that most of these safari companies go to the same exact spots. As evidenced by the massive amount of jeeps at every stop and animal sighting. Skip African Big Cats and go with one of the MANY other companies. Our guides (Zab and Jumma) were good!!

This is the best company to book with . Excellent customer service. The tour guide has so many years of experience with the best knowledge on wildlife and reserves. Knows all the wildlife areas and where to find animals. Has the best knowledge on maasai mara, samburu etc.

Very efficient
Great customer service, prompt and patient replies.
The lodge was nice and the overall experience went extremely smoothly for me, from pick up from the hotel to drop off at the airport.
The game rides were very well organised, and so the boma dinner (dinner in the bush).
I'll definitely recommend it.

What an amazing trip with Serengeti African Tours
We were taken care of from airport pickup to airport drop-off - even if our stay in Arusha was longer and we booked another accomodation for the rest of the trip.
During the safari, our driver Aboh has been great sharing his wide knowledge of animals behavior and 10-year of experience. The food is a real plus, thanks to fresh meals coocked everyday by Chef Richard
The mid-range lodge and tented camps were amazing: great scenery, staff services and highly comfortable.
Overall, Serengeti African tours staff are nice and arranging for all your stay in Arusha region, adapting their services to your needs

Informative well trained guides, excellent service
A great experience I had, was picked up at my hotel by a well trained guide who drove me to pilanesburg national park, he handed me over to park guide who was very informative he explained and he knew every animal with names 6 hours and lunch was included aswell in the park, what a wonderful experience I had .

Great experience!
The safari was a great experience with good care all around.
The driver told us a lot about the animals and the history of the national parks. The meals were delicious local food and you were allowed to express your wishes in advance.
The only negative was that the description said breakfast would also be provided on the first day, but there was not.
