Amazing trip with an exceptional guide!
Our expectations :
9-day family stay, with 2 teenagers aged 11 and 14 in a private 4*4 with French-speaking guide
Program: 6 days of safaris and meeting with tribes
Agency :
Exchanges by email. Responsiveness, quick responses and good advice.
Pleasure to meet the employees in Arusha who helped us prepare the trip.
Safaris: 1 day in Tarangire, 1 in Manyara, 3 in Serengeti and 1 in Ngorongo
6 wonderful days meeting many animals in our private 4*4, lifting roof, ideal for observing everything up close. Great respect for animals.
Varied accommodation: high-end lodges, comfortable tents, very good evening meals, quality of welcome from professionals and bedding, magnificent landscapes, swimming pool in the lodges and wifi at receptions.
Please note: lunch picnic boxes with little variety.
Tribes:
Incredible experience with the Hadzabés: participation in a morning bow hunting in the bush with 3 young people + tasting of grilled squirrel!
The Datogas: demonstration of their metal work (arrows for bows, knives, jewelry, etc.) and flour manufacturing
1 day with the Maasai: exchanges, visit to a village, walk, sale of pearl jewelry
The guide: Nahum is a great guide. He speaks French very well. He is passionate about his country and loves sharing everything he knows about the wildlife, plants, local culture, and history of his country. He is very attentive, caring and anticipates all our needs. A very nice meeting, he enchanted our stay!
Thanks Nahum!
And thank you to the Kimgoni agency for the perfect organization!

Professional safari operator who organised a tour for us according to our wishes at a good price
The owner (Albert) communicates very quickly and obligingly on every request and at almost any time of the day or night.
We made a five-day safari (four nights) in the middle range with Serengeti North, Serengeti Central and Lake Manyara NP.
As time was short we opted for an early morning flight from Arusha to Serengeti North, so that the safari could start in the Serengeti just one hour after take-off from Arusha. Including the flight, the package was available for US$ 2,080 per person for three travellers. That was unrivalled value for money.
As mid-range accommodation was no longer available, there was an upgrade to the luxury segment for one night at the expense of the operator. Money transfers from Germany, which we still arranged from Tanzania (from Zanzibar), arrived at the organiser in two days.
The guide (Baraka) arranged by Serengeti-Smile was not only friendly and personable, but also had great knowledge and an excellent sense of tracking down the entire animal spectrum (including the Big Five). We were also lucky enough to witness the great migration from an impressively close distance.

Great Safari!
Thank you Marurumi for our wonderful safari. Robinson was our guide and was great! We went to Amboseli, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara and had a fantastic and memorable holiday.

Warm and friendly.
This was one of the best vacations ever. We rate this tour guide and company very highly. Our guide Mr Samwel picked us up at the airport and drove us for a few days through Tanzania. In Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Mount Kilimanjaro. He was very nice and knowledgeable. The car was perfectly suited for Safaris and clean as well. We managed to see more animals than ever taught possible and even saw a successful lion hunt. Would go again any time!

A super friendly knowledgeable character
My daughter and I enjoyed a Mombasa city tour with Ruben. He not only showed us the usual tourist highlights - he was very communicative on life in Mombasa and in Kenya in general. Nothing was too much trouble, and he was a joy to deal with.

Amazing tour in Masai Mara
We did 3 days Masai Mara via Hellsgate national park. The tour was amazing - we saw 4 of the big 5 several times and our guide Walter was very friendly and super knowledgeable about the animals, land and even plants. He was also accomodating on any requests we were making around where we wanted to go. Other people I dealt with to get your booked was professional too - quick to reply and reliable. The accomodation we stayed at was great - clean, spacious and we had WiFi and hot shower. Food was also good. Overall I had the best time. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience! Value, safety, knowledge, kindness, experience, organization, all tops!
My wife and I booked a 13-day tour (offered by GT's sister agency Habari), and worked mainly with Annette in the Kampala office. Annette was very helpful, professional, providing complete and very informative answers to our questions (what to expect, what to bring, money, health, visas, etc). (This was our first trip to Africa - no clue. We have had many trips to SE Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, Middle East.)
We joined a group, made up of 3 single women, and two other family women members. The group dynamics do influence the trip and we had a fun group!
In our trip, we visited 5 national parks - our favorite was Murchison Falls, though all have a special flavor. Murchison had savannah, Nile River, lots of animals (elephants, buffalo, hippos, birds, lions, giraffe, etc) it does take a full day to get there from Entebbe, but you do have a stop over to see rhinos at reserve - amazing! Chimp tracking was a blast, they're so personable! The shoebill bird in Lake Mburo, a treat.
Our driver/guide was Isma, someone who we all grew to admire and really appreciate - conservationist, teacher, guide, all around great human being. He kept us informed, on schedule, safe, fed, and bio-braked. What's more, he inspired us.
We went at start of rainy season, which means fewer people but more risk of rainy days. It did not get in our way except for one day. There's no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing....
Lodges were our style - well located, comfortable, clean, very welcoming staff, with a bar, and not overbearingly luxurious or stuffy, great value. We reminisce about hearing the hippos in the evening, colobus monkeys just outside our door, the sunsets.
I would love to bring my adult kids and my parents. The 13 days does require some stamina for long vehicle drives, but what you see along the way is all new, sometimes funny, exciting. It always felt safe, was always full of wonder, excellent value, worthy of repeating and expanding. Gorilla Tours has my vote for a great tour company with excellent staff!

It’s a really beautiful country with several animals, vegetation and cultures - very nice to visit!
We were in Uganda for an internship and wanted to book a Safari last minute - therefore this website was great! We found the perfect match and the company managed to Organise the Start of our trip within to days!
The Country itself was really beautiful and we were surprised about the variety of the different National parks within Savannah and Rainforest. We felt safe the whole journey with our Safari-Guide and the park-Rangers. The weather was still good in the beginning of august, but it started to rain in the end of august(->Tip: visit country before rain-season). All in all it was a really lovely trip and we enjoyed it!
(One last tip: look for a proper car- the roads are really bumpy nearly everywhere and the “african-massage”, like our guide called it, isn’t that enjoyable after some hours of driving)

Simply amazing.
Our first Safari and it did not disappoint. We had booked a 3 day Safariwith Ku Sungula and had seen all of the big five within 48 hours.
Accommodation was clean and comfortable, especially loved the outdoor areas for each room. Staff extremely helpful and friendly.
A fabulous trip!
