Great safari at a great price
We had a great experience with this company. We booked on the night before and they managed to pick us up on the way and not in Nairobi so they were super accommodating.
Safari was great and our guide Robert was very knowledgable. The rooms were nice with a double bed and mosquito net which an en-suite attached which was way more that I expected for the cheap prices.
The food was pretty basic and served in a mini dinner hall which wasn’t luxurious but for the price we paid was more than reasonable!
Would recommend for anyone trying to do a cheapish safari!

Don’t trust him!
While looking forward to exploring the beautiful country of Tanzania, we thought we could use the guidance and expertise of one of the locals. We contacted Arnold, and he presented himself as a local guide and travel agency, with all the right connections and experience to help us create an unforgettable trip.
After discussing our travel plans, Arnold made us pay a deposit 5 months in advance. He needed it to pay for our accommodations and make reservation with several other travel institutions.
One month prior to our departure we discovered that NONE of the reservations in the accommodations where made ( nor in our name, or his) and nothing was paid. After contacting Arnold he came up with a bunch of excuses and promises to make it right. No real explanation. In the end he stopped answering emails or text messages, and no rectifications were ever made. We ended up booking (very last minute!) through another agency and loosing about 2400 USD. What would have happened if we never double checked with the hotels ourselves ?! Arnold may present himself as genuine and authentic, but unfortunately he is a SCAM!

My husband and I had a very special bush experience in Botswana with Phillimon and his team
We received very good service from Phillimon from our first inquiries about doing a trip with Walking Stick Safaris. He was informative and answered our questions and dealt with our expectations clearly and succinctly. My husband is 76 and we were never made to feel that he was 'too old' for a bush camping trip. We had a very good week from start to finish. The 2 nights Mokoro trip, the guides, and the camping experience worked well for us. We then spent 2 nights in Moremi and 2 nights in the Kwai area. The plan worked well as there was a lot of variety in both terrain and daily routine. Both areas have their plus points. Philemon was relentless in his pursuit of finding good animal sightings for us. The backup staff of cooks and helpers made sure we were well fed and looked after. Running a bush mobile safari requires a certain type of all-round person and Phillimon certainly has all the qualities that this takes. We will go on another trip with this company. We feel that we certainly got our money's worth

A truly magical experience from booking to safari
From the very beginning planning and booking the customer care by Daniel was exceptional, kept us up to date with everything. The additional requirements we needed were all taken care with, a personal touch made us feel at ease. Upon arrival our guide Antony was so welcoming and before we could catch a breath we were on our way. The Hotel and lodge at Lake Naivasha was truly lovely, with amazing views of the wildlife right outside your door. Arriving at Masai Mara was breathtaking and Antony our guide was excellent he really made the Safri come alive. Antony made sure we seen all the big 5 and many more, memories we can keep for ever. I would recommend Transtrek to anyone who wants to have the magical experience we had.

Fantastic tour guide, individually customized to our needs and budget for a family of 5
For the first time we had 4 day a safari for our family of 5
Wilson, the owner and main guide, is an extremely experienced Safari guide,
He organized for us to complete and very individual tour program.
We have had our own choice of a accommodation, and Wilson managed to book it directly for us at Better conditions.
During driving Wilson was always able to provide us additional information about country and wildlife, cultures and habits. So we were amazed that there is much more than spotting the big five, A lot of smaller details were caught by his sharp eyes.
What was most important to us, we felt always very safe and comfortable, The tour was timely very well organized, same moment it left enough space to wait patiently in the wilderness spotting animals. No hassle, no stress, pure relax and adventure.
Frankly were two other visitors. We chose N’goron’goro crater beside the Serengeti, However we settled down in the crate or more like Disney park visitors, cruising around in circles with at least 150 other vehicles. Finally be regret, that we did not pick any other national park instead, which are worth to see around Arusha.
Very nice that we rested next to the crater national park entrance up in the hills within coffee plants in a farm house, T.E.C. coffee farm rest house, Oldeani. But be sure you have a 4WD with you.

Amazing Tour & Amazing Company
Our trip to Maasai Mara exceeded our expectations. Throughout the booking process Ms. Joyce Njeri (Operations Manager) was extremely patient, informative & understanding. She answered all my questions patiently through emails (lots of emails). The communication was too good that Ms. Joyce replied to every email with details very promptly.
Our driver/ tour guide Ms. Joseph Mayungu was amazing. He knew the park very well, he knew all the animals, and he explained to us everything very well. We were not fortunate enough to spot the Big 5, but we have seen the Big 4 & several other animals & birds.
Matira Main camp was awesome. We are very much impressed with all of the lodging.
Joyce & Joseph, once again, Thanks for everything.

An excellent 4-day tour with LWSS!
Thanks to the guide named Al and the KWSS' owner Otieno, I had a safe, enjoyable trip with unforgettable memories about the safaris as well as people I met during the 4-day trip to Maasai Mara National Reserve and lake Nakuru. Everything in the trip was just perfect and the guide was so experienced and helpful. Since I traveled alone and no one else joined us in the tour, so he was the driver, guide, and friend of me over the 4 days.
The trip enriches my travel experience in general and in Africa in particular; it also helps me to have better understanding about the culture and people at the places I visited. The tour is over my expectation. If I come back to Africa, KMSS is my first choice for safari trips. 5 stars for them.

Highly recommend!
I can highly recommend African Pangolin Safaris! We did a 3 Day trip to Mikumi and it was excellent experience. Booking process and communication was easy. We had a private safari with our driver Mike. Mike was great and funny guide and he made our trip more amazing, thank you! We saw many animals like Lions, leopards, elefants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, buffallos, monkeys, colourful birds etc. We had enough time to watch and photograph animals and Mike told things about animals and environment.
Mikumi was nice and there were only a few car in the whole park at same time, so it felt like we had the whole park to ourselves and we saw other cars only couple times. Trip was worth every penny and would definately book them again if I have a chance to go back Tanzania. Asante sana!
