Amazing team of Safari experts
It looks complicated travelling during this time, but we are very thankful to African Wanderlust Adventures team for making our Kilimanjaro Trek and Tanzania Safaris all possible and a lifetime experience. I live and work in Tanzania, but my husband is in UK. We were recommended by one of our family friend who enjoyed a family Safari with African Wanderlust Adventures prior the pandemic.
Robert was always fast in accommodating our requests with enough details. Before the Trek we were briefed and checked if we had all required trekking equipments. Supported with an amazing team, a cook and wonderful Guide both during Trek and Safari.
Am very thankful to the entire team who made it all possible, stay safe.

Richard and EOS facilitated our arrival, reception, lodging and the safari in a professional and friendly manner throughout… even during COVID. The safari was EXCELLENT as our driver knew the most likely areas to observe the Big Five and other wildlife. Amazing, the guy we got explained to us everything we asked in detail !!
Lulu Safaris were to me very organized, communicated promptly. We got a clean car with a driver who listened to us and understood us I believe, he stopped for a few minutes every time we asked when there was something interesting to look at.
The trip was worth it, and very good value for money. 'The true Ugandan tourism experience is well done by Lulu safaris!!!

We Saw So Many More Animals Than We Expected Thanks to Marvin, the Guide
The Kenya portion of our Safari was handled by Karibu (affiliated/contracted by another company we booked with). Marvin was our guide for Masai Mara. He was reliable, knowledgeable, and able to get us where the animals were. We saw 4 of the Big 5 (no rhinos but they are rare there). We saw an entire pride of lions, a hyena nursing 2 cubs, a jackal, many giraffes, elephants, several cheetahs and cheetah cubs, zebras and wildebeests. Marvin had good relations with other game drivers, so they networked to spot animals and get us to the right places. He was polite, spoke excellent English, and could answer any question we asked. He suggested some modifications to the itinerary and left the choice to me. We did some of those and the activities we enjoyable. We as close as allowed to photograph the animals from the vehicle.
There was some kind of roadblock in Narok on the way back from Masai Mara to Nairobi. I am still not certain if it was legit, I suspect it was not. Our vehicle was detained but ultimately we were allowed to pass - I refused to answer their questions or to give inaccurate information. This was the only negative experience on the tour. That may be how things are in Narok but it does not appear that the tour operators are to blame.

Truly excellent safari experience
We booked a week long safari with Mufasa and had an incredible experience. Before we even left the states, we had issues with our Kenyan visa applications, and Mufasa was highly accommodating of the potential delay.
While on the safari, lodging and food was good and very fair for the price (we went for the budget experience), and Nelson was an excellent guide. Nelson helped us find all the animals we were after and was very willing to move the van the slightest bit in any direction to improve a photo. He had answers to all miscellaneous questions about Kenya, the Maasai, the parks, and the animals we saw, and was more than happy to share his knowledge.
When we ran into last minute covid testing requirements for our flight out of Nairobi, Mufasa saved the day and helped us get the testing we needed in time.
Overall, the tour and the company were both excellent and impressed me.
