Family safari in South Africa.
The ‘bush’ as we call it changes you! I have never seen kids jump out of bed at 05h30 in the morning ready to go. Of course getting them to bed after sitting around the camp fire at night was a challenge..haha.
Travelling under these current times was a breeze. Thank you to World Escapes and to Tintswalo Safari Lodge for accommodating us so very well. Although the ground package was done by the lodge, we would like to thank your team for organizing the logistics as well as recommending the Lodge.

Most amazing safari
I travel at least once a year and I recommend Bonfire (The Kabuus) anytime. Our Agent Judy Njeri was very responsive helping us book the trip to Mara.
Our tour guide, Mike Gitahi (Ras) was super amazing. He went over and beyond to ensure we saw every single animal and bird available. We saw everything except a Rhino. He knows his “office” alright! Plus,he was super friendly, engaging and accommodating to everyone including the little ones. The real OG “Big Mike” as we called him at the end for making the experience amazing.
I will definitely be back and be recommending him and Bonfire to family and friends. Thank you for a beautiful trip.

The 6 Meet the Big 5
After alot of contemplation, we finally decided to go with Lenchada (Alex) and it's a decision we will never regret. It was an amazing week with our guide Richie, who tirelessly made an attempt to give us an unforgettable experience. Our every question was answered and every wish granted. We lived at some amazing properties (Masai Mara, Ambosili and Nakuru). Experiencing nature at its best is a memory I will cherish. Definitely worth the price we paid and the service provided. The ride was terribly bumpy but our Landcruiser steered by Richie made it possible to maneuver through the terrain. This trip definitely brought out the survival skills in me and if you ask me.. will I do it again?????.... Most definitely!!! Thanks, Richie and Lenchada for this amazing holiday that will be cherished forever.

William was courteous, thoughtful and a magnificent guide!!
Our safaris with William and Gosheni Safaris were above and beyond anything I had expected. Every question was answered, every need met, every concern covered. Over months of putting our safaris together, Pendo had absolutely everything covered. The hotels were great -- even the tent hotels! All the food we had was outstanding. We had 8 days of safaris where William was able to answer every single question we had, found every type of animal we wanted to see, and met every need that arose. His knowledge of the area, the people and the animals is amazing. The owner, Peter, was also always ready to help if need be, was always aware of what was going on. He met us upon arrival at their office, and he hosted a very nice get together before we left. I would never dream of choosing anything but Gosheni Safaris and William for my next safari!!

Our tour guide - Lord - was the best tour guide ever (in my humble unbiased opinion).
My friend and I went on a 4 day, 5 night safari with African Big Cats and I have only amazing things to say about this experience - literally not a single thing I would change. The person who coordinated our trip, Justice, was extremely helpful, personable, patient, and responsive with all of our questions leading up to and during our trip. Our tour guide, Lord Lugard, aka 'the Lord' ;), was the best tour guide ever (I've never been on another safari to compare, but I know for a fact that my opinion is unbiased and he is truly the best lol). Our guide had an answer to every single one of the hundreds of questions I asked him, plus tons more knowledge to share about the animals, the land, different tribe's cultures and much more. He was a sniper finding the animals & recreated the animal's sounds in order to get some of them to look in our direction for a great photo. We saw ton's of different kinds of animals, learned about all different kinds of plants, and the landscape was absolutely breathtaking throughout the entire trip. All of the lodging where we stayed was beautiful & had great meals for breakfast and dinner. & Lord always had the car stocked up with waters, & drinks for us. I would highly recommend Big Cats Safari for all your safari trip plans. 10/10, 5 stars.

Hustlers thieves, officials, police, ruin what would otherwise be a wonderful tourist destination
Zambia is a beautiful country with so much to offer, but traveling up from Botswana, there is a stark difference -the official's police and the Botswana people are friendly and efficient, (been several times) , have never been hustled in Botswana -the moment you arrive in Zambia there will be a hustler at your door -the Botswana officials expedite you quickly and efficiently -The Zambian side will keep you for hours -But that we can deal with.Livingstone(Vic Falls,) was empty this year of tourists, one would think they would welcome the ones who do come, but there we felt immediately like we were a mark, and constantly harassed and hustled, beware of the money exchangers and hustlers, do NOT deal with them, even if it costs a bit more, use a bank or ATM, where you are nor surrounded -they will come at you in gangs and try to distract you as others steal from you -this happened to us with our international guests who had money stolen, the police are no help,so don't expect any help there, we did go to the Livingstone police but they laughed at us and said we most probably dropped the money ourselves -so they find it a joke and obviously are not there to help tourists -our guests said it spoilt their experience there, and I doubt will recommend anyone else to go there

One of the best customer service experiences we have ever had!
We recently took our Safari tour with Lion King Adventures from July 6th thru the 14th, touring Tarangire National Park, The Central and Western Serengeti, Ngorogoro crater, and Lake Manyara. We booked the tour back in 2019 but could not go in 2020 due to COVID. We looked for many companies to take our tour with, and to say Lion King did not dissappoint is an understatement.
It all starts with Pendo, who does all of the administrative work, order processing, logistics, and simply holding your hand throughout the entire process. Her email responses were prompt, courteous, and always answered our questions. She went above and beyond several times, to include inquiring about a visa issue that we were having. She ensured that we were as prepared as we could be, and also made sure that our return COVID tests were booked while in the serengeti. We had zero reservations about the quality of the trip we were going to have based on how we were treated before the trip.
But it gets better!
We had requested Oussie to be our guide based on some glowing reviews about his service, and he came through with shining colors! We were glad the company was able to match us with him. He was very friendly, funny, knew great english, and was very informative about the wildlife we came to see, to include the birds. If he did not know something, he was quick to look up the information to see if he could provide an answer. He was very flexible with our needs and our schedule. If we asked him that we wanted to stop somewhere, or take a little longer at a certain location, he obliged. My wife had a minor illness one morning that got us on the road a little later than normal, but Oussie was very sympathetic and understanding, and did not make us feel rushed at all. He also served as an advocate at a few of the locations that required his knowledge of Swahili to circumvent potential dietary issues. I would highly recommend him for those who want a fantastic trip. He is also a VERY accomplished driver, and with some of the roads that we had to traverse, it was comforting knowing that he knew his way around, and was a great driver to boot.
At the end of our trip we were personally interviewed by the company president, which was a very nice touch.
We simply cannot state in words how grateful we were that we chose this company and our guide. It made the trip of a lifetime just that! Asante Sana!!

amazing safari with rocky - Suricata
We had a fantastic 3 day 2 night experience in Serengeti and Ngorogoro crater. Our guide Rocky was amazing and took a lot of effort to make sure our experience was as good as it could possibly be.
We stayed at the Serengeti Accacia and the standard was excellent. The food was plentiful and tasty. The rooms were very nice and very comfortable.
The tour days themselves were wonderful, the vehicle was a very high standard. I would highly recommend this company and I would be happy to go with them again in future.rocky for wild life experience
