Wonderful holiday arranged by Twinkle Star Tours
We had a wonderful holiday arranged by James in Twinkle star tours December 27th to January 8th. We started with safari in Masai Mara, followed by Lake Naivasha, Amboseli and Tsavo west and east, before we headed for the beach in Malindi. Twinkle star gave us the idea to safari the way down instead of spending more days in fewer parks and fly down. This way, we got to experience different parks which all had their own characteristics.
Our driver Abdul was an experienced safari guide, and knew how to give us an unforgettable experience where we got to see all the big five in addition to everything else. He also helped us out several times in Malindi with scuba diving and other stuff we needed. The lodges were the standard we expected to a reasonable prize, and James did a excellent job to find out what we wanted and put together a trip that was perfect for us. I would definitely use Twinkle Star Tours again if the opportunity comes by.

Just fabulous and unforgettable!!!
Just fabulous and unforgettable!!!
My husband our two boys and I spent an amazing five days in the middle of nowhere.
Our guide Georges was incredible. He knew everything regarding wildlife and flora.
He was very nice and discreet. He was with us in Lake Manyara , Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti Park. He spoke fluent in French.
Soul of Tanzania answered all questions we had and helped us with everything: visas, country information, Covid form and above all accommodation, entries to parks, the guide and our special requests.
Our dream came true!

A truly lifetime experience
We spent part of our honeymoon in Uganda, where our trip was organized by Lifetime Experience Safaris. I contacted Jesse a few months before and he was super helpful all the way through the actual safari. He organized our trip which included seeing the gorillas in Bwindi as well as a short safari at Queen Elizabeth Park. He also arranged for our COVID test and was reachable any time before and during our trip. The lodges that were chosen by Jesse were super nice and Gerald, our driver, was simply amazing! On the top of being a good driver, he also knows a lot about Uganda and really made our trip even more enjoyable.
Seeing the gorillas was such an unforgettable experience! Everything was arranged for us, permits, guides etc. The rest of the trip was also very nice, in Queen Elizabeth we were sleeping in a lodge just next to hippos :) and people in Uganda are so nice and welcoming! I can only recommend Lifetime Experience Safari and would really encourage you to use their services for your trip to Uganda!

This was an incredible experience I will cherish forever, truly the trip of a lifetime
We recently returned home from our 3 day safari, 1/2-1/5 with our guide Ken. Words cannot express how much we enjoyed this experience. It was truly the trip of a lifetime, we are so lucky to have done this. I will never forget it. We saw every animal you could want, including the big 5, practically on the first day. I felt extremely safe throughout the entire process, including the transportation to and from the Masai Mara from Nairobi.
Ken was a big part of why our experience was so amazing. He was kind, enjoyable to spend hours with, extremely knowledgeable about the animals and where to spot them, and he truly wanted us to have nothing less than an amazing trip. He even coordinated our covid tests for us to be done in the park and then flown to Nairobi to be resulted (which was a huge anxiety for me prior to our trip, given the US’s strict 1 day before your return flight rule.
If you’re questioning booking, just do it!!! You will have the best experience ever. Tip- rent or bring a really good camera lens with long range, 500mm, we did and our photos turned out to be stunning.

Fantastic tour to the Tanzanian Safari
Our 5 days tour was a great experience! Our tour guide was so professional and knew literally everything! There was no question we asked him that he didn't know the answer for, no matter of it was about the parks, animals of all kinds, plants or Tanzania.
We managed to see everything we wished for - a huge variety of animals, both omnivores and carnivores and in large numbers. The guide knew exactly where to take us and was very patient to our requests and wishes.
To conclude - highly recommended!!

Don’t look anywhere else if you want a trip of a lifetime!
I cannot put into words how great it was working with Sun Safaris when booking our South Africa trip. Natasha worked with us from start to finish and helped us navigate an unprecedented travel period in order to have the trip of a lifetime. From the guides, to the accommodations, to the activities, everything was spot on and we cannot thank Natasha and the entire Sun Safaris team enough. We are looking forward to booking our next trip with the team in the near future!

Far beyond my expectations! A wonderful holiday!
I opted for the mid range 3 night/ 4 day tour in the Masaai Mara and Lake Nakuru. I arrived very late at night due to delayed flight but the driver was there waiting for me to transfer to my hotel in Nairobi. Even saw a zebra on the side of the road near the airport! I was picked up again in the morning and taken to the office to complete my payment then in to the van. We had the luxury of travelling during the pandemic so were only 2 of us in the van but I don’t imagine it would have been any less comfortable if it were full. The van has obviously wear and tear due to being used for game drives but that’s all part of the adventure! Driver was very friendly and knowledgeable. Stopped to see some baboons then stopped again for lunch before heading to the Mara for an evening game drive where we saw a heap of wildlife in only a few hours. I stayed in the mid range lodges which were 4 star+ equivalent. Delicious buffet food for dinner and breakfast, swimming pool, very spacious, up market presentation and comfortable rooms. Then we did the full day game drive, this time with another 2 people joining us, so still acres of room to move in the van. But with the pop up roof even if it was full you would still feel plenty comfortable and be able to see everything. The weather was stunning and we saw more animals than I could ever have hoped for, with the only things of note we didn’t see were Rhino and Leopard. Then we headed the next day to the lake and early to the next lodge which was literally in the National park with views down to the lake and zebra drinking from the pond just in front of the restaurant. Again pool and beautiful rooms, this time with a menu to chose for table service. We then saw one of the missing critters, the rhino. We also went to another lake for about $10-20 for a short boat ride which was a nice addition, lots of birds and a few more animals, then I headed back to Nairobi in another van and the rest of our small group carried on to another park. I had a day on my own in Nairobi and then the driver collected me at about 2am to head to the airport. Considering all meals, all park fees, all lodge costs (minus alcohol), all driving and the airport transfers were covered by the price of the tour, it was an absolute bargain really. I was slightly apprehensive when I found out the van was 2wd but my word, our driver and guide (who can spot a sleeping lion in the corner of his eye from about 5 miles away!), he could take that van absolutely anywhere a 4WD could get. It was incredible. Literally the best holiday I’ve ever had and I’m looking forward to coming back next time with friends and family!

Amazing trip with Almighty Kilimanjaro!
Climbing Kilimanjaro was the adventure of a lifetime thanks to Almighty Kilimanjaro.
Our guide, Tuliza, was incredible - he was friendly and knowledgeable (with over 870 summits and around 20 years experience) and thus comes highly recommended. Do yourself a favor.
The company itself was transparent, trustworthy and attentive. They treat their staff well, and seem to be a powerful force for good in the community.
The food on the mountain exceeded expectation and the tents and equipment are in decent shape as well.
I would definitely advise; spending a longer time on the mountain for better acclimatization, packing an excess of waterproof items, getting a local sim card (there is decent signal at the majority of camps), and packing a variety of snacks.
Uhuru peak is a reward for a worthy effort. Go for it"
