Thorough, responsive, and comprehensive trip planning
We originally booked 4 nights in Zimbabwe and Botswana for April 2020. The original planning and booking process was simple. Megan at Discover Africa provided a variety of options for durations and locations, and we were able to select the number of nights and the hotels that worked best for our budget and what we wanted to see/do. It was easy to add excursions such as boat tours and a helicopter flight over Victoria Falls.
When Covid derailed our trip, we were able to defer all the bookings indefinitely. In Spring of 2021, we put everything back on track for May 2021, and Megan got us set up with appointments and the information we needed to get Covid PCR tests in Zimbabwe and Botswana.
Everything went off without a hitch. Victoria Falls was extraordinary. The land transit to Botswana was complicated, but handled adroitly by the Wild Horizons drivers. We would have had a real headache figuring out those specifics without an experienced guide on the ground. Our time in Chobe National Park was wonderful; we saw so many animals from pretty close-up! Again, the guides here were great. All of our covid results came in very quickly, and we had no worries about making our next transit to another country.
Can't recommend Discover Africa enough for getting you to and around Southern Africa. Even in these uncertain Covid times, it's very doable (check local conditions frequently though, as things seem to change rapidly).

Great Service, Great Price, Great Value
After visiting Africa with A&K a few times, we decided to be adventurous and go with Lion King Adventures this time. We did a 12 day tour of Tanzania with Lion King Adventures, and we had the most amazing time. Lion King Adventures was very responsive, and planning the safari was easy with them. We stayed at similar types of hotels that we stayed with A&K before (e.g. Four Seasons Serengeti Lodge), and the service was at 90-95% of the A&K service at 60% of the cost.
We had a private vehicle, and our driver Salehe was amazing - really nice, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. Salehe made us feel safe and comfortable the entire time. He also has an amazing eye for seeing the smallest of animals from a distance. We saw all the animals we wanted to see with Salehe.
The safari itself was more than what we expected - talk about lions climbing trees, a huge pride of 17 lions, lion cubs with mothers, memories of elephants up close, etc. We went to most of the "regular" national parks, but we also tried one off-the-beaten-path region called Ndutu in the South Serengeti. The experience at Ndutu was mind blowing - lots of animals and not as many tourists. If you are in the right season, we highly recommend visiting Ndutu.

Very Organised
I just finished doing the 3 day tour and it was amazing, me and my wife really enjoyed it.
Lewis the guide was very informative about all the animals we saw during these 3 days and always picked for us great spots to take the pictures.The tents we camped in were big compared to the others I saw onsite and the locations chosen for spending the night were good. There was a chef with us that cooked for us the meals and we were always on schedule.
I would surely recommend this trip to others.

Amazing trip seeing multiple parts of Kenya!
I completed the 7 Day Great Southern Savannah Economical Safari Private Tour with Mufasa Tours along with my cousin and had an amazing time seeing multiple parks in different parts of Kenya. The tour took us through Amboseli, the Great Rift Valley, Lake Naveisha, Lake Nakuru, and Masai Mara. Our driver, Tony, was awesome, as he was very accommodating throughout the long drives throughout the country and very knowledgeable of where different animals were while driving through the parks. His driving skills in getting us around the Mara also allowed us to explore multiple places where there were little to no other jeeps in sight. He also made sure to take care of us on our last day to get us back to Nairobi in good time, allowing us to enjoy a few sights in the city before getting to the airport for our departure. If you want to see as much of Kenya as possible in a short time-frame that isn’t too overwhelming, this seems to be the perfect tour to do. Thanks for an amazing experience Tony and Mufasa Tours!

Went together to Masai Mara Park. I would like to express my gratitude for the positive emotions to the organizers. Best adventure
We had a very memorable gorilla safari with AAV. Our guide Najib was kind and knowledgeable about the destination. Our budget wasn’t big but the company booked us in nice lodges during our trip. We will come back soon for a longer safari in Uganda
