Every single day was a highlight
5/5

Sedrick was quick to respond back when I first got in touch way back in 2020, and helped me to tailor an itinerary to my needs. Of course, 2020 didn't pan out so well and I ended up needing to cancel my trip due to travel restrictions, so was very grateful when Sedrick honoured my deposit, no questions asked, a full three years later!

The tour itself was INCREDIBLE. We did an 11 day trip through Uganda, covering many of the main regions. I'm not exaggerating when I say that every single day of the trip was a highlight - and I say this as someone who has done a few safari trips before (SA, Kenya, Namibia, Botswana).

Our guide, Darius, was down to earth, friendly and welcoming, and a great person to spend the trip with. We enjoyed chatting to him and learning about life in Uganda as well as the the sites we visited. Not only did he have comprehensive knowledge about both the animals and birds (including prior experience working at some of the national parks), but he clearly made an effort to focus on what we were interested in. I can't believe how good his eyesight was. For example, Darius spotted a leopard about 100m off the road in a cactus tree which I struggled to even find with binoculars. We were the only car of many driving along that main tarmac road that stopped to take a closer look!

We loved exploring Uganda, and it was completely different to anywhere else I've been (even neighbouring Kenya) in terms of landscapes, wildlife and culture. The chimp and gorilla tracking were the focal point for me and didn't disappoint - I'm still looking back though those photos often to relive those experiences. There is absolutely nothing like it.

On the accommodation side, each place was fantastic and unique in its own way, from an island in a lake to a lodge where elephants wander past in front of you as you have a drink at the end of the day. Similarly, the food was a consistently high standard. Neither of us got sick at any point, although we met people on other tours who had, so probably best to bring some precautionary meds in case.

Overall, this was the trip of a lifetime - I would unreservedly recommend Ngoni to anyone looking to visit Uganda. And if you're not specifically looking to visit Uganda... Maybe reconsider, it's really worth bumping to the top of your list!

A Trip of a Lifetime Thanks to Easy Travel and Herry!
5/5

It has been a dream of mine to go on safari in Africa and visit my sixth continent. When my adult son invited me to go with him on safari in Tanzania, I was thrilled! I began doing research and found the amazing reviews of the Classic Tanzania trip with Easy Travel. When my son and I travel together, I usually do all the planning from scratch, but it was glorious to be able to put everything into Easy Travel’s hands and just show up. Voice, the office manager, was there to answer questions I had.
Our delightful guide, Herry, met us at the airport and entertained us with lots of information and stories on the way to Arusha. Because of hearing issues, I missed some of the stories so the next day, I requested to sit in the front seat with him, and he graciously moved all of his equipment so that I could be closer.
Herry’s concern for my well-being continued throughout the trip as I dealt with daily stomach issues which often caused us to delay our plans. He encouraged me to see a doctor in a local hospital and waited patiently with me for several hours until I could be seen. He never made me feel like I was an inconvenience and I appreciated his genuine concern.
The safari was everything I could hope for and I didn’t even have to do all the work! It included amazing places to stay from the hotel in Arusha to the Tortilis camp sites which welcomed us like family. The three campsites with delicious food and comfortable en suite tents were well above the basics of camping in my youth. This was particularly important to me as a senior citizen.
Like everyone on safari, I wanted to see the animals, but I was particularly interested in seeing as many African birds as possible. When Herry found out about my interest, he took me to a place where I could purchase a bird checklist and each day he enthusiastically helped me locate birds (final count almost one hundred species) and used his personal bird guide books to help me with my identification.
I could go on and on about all the things that we saw and did, but what stands out to me is how absolutely happy I was in spite of my stomach issues. This was a trip of a lifetime, thanks to Easy Travel and Herry! Asante sana!

Anna is Amazing
5/5

My husband, Marc, wanted to see the mountain gorillas. We began planning a trip to Rwanda and Uganda with one tour company, then got lucky and found Anna, who made our dream trip a reality. She stayed in contact with us throughout the planning process, was incredibly knowledgeable and responsive to our questions and needs, and went out of her way to make sure we knew we were in good hands. She helped us plan a wonderful and varied itinerary, paired us with the most exceptional guide, Kenneth Muhindi, a star in his own right, and stayed in touch during our travels to make sure all was going well. We felt completely safe and utterly pampered throughout our visit, and Anna saved us so much money compared to the rates quoted by the first tour company that we were able to include a stay at one special accommodation we couldn’t have afforded any other way. Our trip was perfect—we still talk about how perfect it was—and we owe it all to Anna. My husband is now hankering to go on another safari, this time to Kenya, and he just said the other day, totally unprompted, “I want to plan it with Anna.” Me, too!

Super Satisfying Serengeti Safari
5/5

I went with my mom on the Classic safari and had a great time with Herry as our guide. The man knows his stuff and works hard to make sure everything works and is on time. He also goes above and beyond when unfortunate things (sickness) happen to make sure you're ok. If you're a bird lover he is a must have guide. He knows all the birds in the area and will help you find them.
The Safari was a lot of fun and hit all of the major parks and spots to see the Big 5 and Ugly 5. The accommodations were wonderful and food was great. Who knew Glamping was so much fun! Overall I was very happy and enjoyed my trip a lot!

A beautiful country with amazing people!
Overall rating
5/5

We spent 16 nights in South Africa and in addition we visited Zimbabwe and Mauritius while on vacation. We visited Cape Town, drove the Garden Route spending time in Franschhoek, Hermanus, Knysna, and Gqeberha (PE), before traveling to Hoedspruit for a safari in the Karongwe Private Reserve.

Cape Town was incredible as we were able to tour Table Mountain, Seal Island, Boulder Beach, The Cape of Good Hope, Kirstenbosch, and Constantia for a taste of their excellent selection of wine. The food and wine in Franschhoek was amazing. The scenery along the way through Hermanus, Knysna, and PE was breathtaking! We even visited the Knysna Elephant Park and had a close up encounter with elephants and zebra.

We were able to see the Big Five in Karongwe as well as zebra, hippo, giraffe, and cheetah and many other animals on the list along with many bird species. The food and service at the Karongwe River Lodge was 5 star.

We have already recommended South Africa as a destination that should be on anyone's travel bucket list!

Beautiful

Our safari with Kiboko tours was amazing. Even though we did not had much time in amboseli and tsavo. Our driver Harry was really nice and he knows so much about the animals there. We had also been at a massai village. The people there where really nice but it is so „touristic“ there. But all in all, we as tourists can do so much to the people there.

About: Kenya
Kenyan Adventure
Overall rating
5/5

I had the pleasure of spending an incredible trip in Kenya, with 3 days in the mesmerizing Masai Mara and a total of 2 weeks exploring the vibrant city of Nairobi.

My visit to Masai Mara was a wildlife enthusiast's dream come true. The game drives offered a front-row seat to some of the most magnificent creatures in the animal kingdom. The thrilling encounters with lions, elephants, and the Great Migration were awe-inspiring. The landscape itself was a breathtaking spectacle, with the vast savannah and the Mara River making the perfect backdrop for these remarkable sightings.

Nairobi, on the other hand, provided a dynamic contrast to the serene wilderness of Masai Mara. The city's energy and diverse culture were captivating. Exploring the local markets, museums, and trying authentic Kenyan cuisine was a delightful experience. I was particularly impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the people I met during my stay.

During my trip planning, I discovered a fantastic safari package on SafariBookings.com, which played a significant role in making my Kenyan adventure a reality. This platform not only provided invaluable information but also offered an array of well-organized and exciting safari options, making the trip planning process a breeze. I am grateful for the resource and the opportunities it provided for an unforgettable journey.

Writing this review not only allows me to reflect on the wonderful memories I created in Kenya but also gives me the opportunity to contribute to the promotion of this incredible travel destination. It's heartening to know that my experiences can help support local businesses and communities who depend on tourism.

I encourage anyone considering a trip to Kenya to take the leap and explore this beautiful country. I'm more than happy to share my experience and hope it inspires others to embark on their own Kenyan adventure.

Excellent mobile safari trip with a top notch guide!
5/5

We had a spectacular mobile safari experience with Tebla at Nalange Safaris. Our party of 6 (including two teenagers) had a trip of a lifetime visiting Moremi/Kwai/Savuti in August for 9 days. Tebla and his team attended to every detail, ensuring we had a true wilderness experience away from the crowds, while being extremely comfortable. Having traveled in Africa with many other guides, I can say that Tebla was the most knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife and his home country as I’ve ever encountered. And he is warm, genuine, funny and a pleasure to be around. As is his team. He will work with you to devise an itinerary that will suit your budget and interests. Great communication before, during and after the trip. I would highly recommend this company and Tebla specifically. You will not be disappointed!

Professional and experienced catering to our budget, wants and needs in every way possible.
5/5

From the very start of looking for a safari for my son and I, I wanted it to be a memorable experience for us both.

I had looked on several sites before finding Indigo Safaris and Kerry was the first travel agent who had made contact with me and asked if we could have a live chat over zoom. Kerry went out of her way to make sure that I had the best safari within my budget and that included all the experiences I wanted.

She had no doubt at all that I would see the 'Big 5' and that we would have the best experience. She talked of the safaris she had been on and even how she had been to the places she was suggesting, the layout, what would be provided with, the safari experience and in detail.

I couldn't find any reviews on TripAdvisor and Kerry provided personal references for reviews that I could contact and the people that I contacted were singing Kerry's and Indigo Safaris praises.

After a few different options I decided on Basecamp Explorer for our 4 night and 3-day Safari In Kenya.

We had a trip planned to go to Japan first before going to Keyna. Kerry made sure that she was in contact with us throughout our trip and leading up to getting to Nairobi.

Our Safari guide Simon picked us up at our accommodation in Nairobi and we drove 5 hours with two breaks in between.

Our accommodation at Basecamp Explorer was a glamping/camping style tent with yummy meals provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner and customer service that always went over and beyond our expectations. Our tent had hot running water, a flush toilet, and two twin beds which was super perfect and everything we needed. This camp is also know for being the place where Barack Obama and his family had stayed when they were in Kenya.

Within the 3-day safari we went out twice a day every day with our driver Simon and went out on a safari jeep with only my son and I in our jeep. There were times where we would see other safari vehicles with up to 12 people in one vehicle and we felt so happy it was just us in ours. It meant we had a really personalized experience with Simon, and he could work with us to see exactly what we were wanting to see and focus on.

Our hostess Esther thoroughly looked after us with every meal and made sure our stay was amazing. We even had personal security guards that would stay up all night and guard our tents.

We saw so many zebras, and warthogs and giraffes, it became so normal to see them every day. We also got to see Hippo's at breakfast one morning getting into the river. We saw Buffalo, a Cheetah with her little cubs, Lions just strolling around, Elephants with their babies, and a black Rhino as well which is super rare. We even saw Lions sleeping in a pack one day. Every interaction was so close it was surreal, to see these beautiful animals in their own environments living their best lives. Loved every single moment.

We enjoyed every single second and were so looked after the entire time by the Basecamp Explorer Team, Simon our Driver, and Kerry from Indigo Safaris. Couldn't have had a better time and would forever and a day sing the praises of Kerry and Indigo Safaris.

Thanks again Kerry for everything.

Satisfying Safari tour thanks to meektrail
5/5

A very satisfying African wildlife tour! We contacted many travel agencies before traveling, and meektrail's responses were very enthusiastic and sincere, which impressed me. Their prices are very cheap compared to other travel agencies, but other than that I would choose them because everyone seems to have a great time with them. It turns out that although meektrail’s quotation is cheap, it is not bad at all. Not only did we visit all the interesting places, we also lived well and saw almost all the wild animals. On the last day, we even went to Naivasha Lake. These are Other travel agencies don't have it. Our tour guide Juma was an important factor in why we had so much fun. He was very friendly, it was easy to chat with him, and he was always able to meet our various needs. Everyone we met was very friendly and at the end of the trip juma even told us that if we needed help in Kenya we could always call him. Thank you Kenya, thank you meektrail, thank you juma.
