Amazing operator!
The communication was seamless with Polly, who is my planner of the trip and responded to my messages in a really quick manner, even on Sundays, I really appreciate that. I was short of time so I chose the fly-in option and it turned out to be well worth it, I managed to see many animals and took terrific pictures even with one night at Masai Mara. For those who are traveling with little time, the fly-in option is definitely something to consider! It saved me so much time to allow me to spend the most time with games.
I booked the Loyk Camp and it was a super comfortable and amazing stay - the room is clean and the amenities are well equipped.
My guide is professional and knowledgeable and knows very well the need for a photographer, always trying to find a good angle for my photos. Amazing experience overall and thank you so much!
Note: I am a solo young female traveler and was a little concerned about going alone on a Safari with a male guide. But the concerns were totally invalid as the guide is super professional and it was a classic experience for me. Thank you Elijah!

Good schedule and treatment
Everything was son good with Suricata during my 4 safari days. Driver, guides, food, schedule, treatment, facilities, etc were really good. That gave me a great experience with Suricata

They sent us some lodges options, fitting our restriction on days and budget, and for each option they delivered a well detailed document including all about the safari, what to expect in lodges and a schedule day-by-day, which was perfectly accomplished during the safari. (including a user-friendly map to the lodge, better than the standad suggested by GMaps).
They really undestood our needs!
All comunications was by e-mail, with fast and complete responses.

I was sceptical at first I must admit when we placed the booking , I perused social media pages etc but had to just decide to see what happens and it was nothing shot of amazing. Arthur went above and beyond all the time and nothing was a bother. He took everything within his stride and was always punctual and courteous. Dilo has the patience of a saint and I could never fault him. The whole experience as a whole was marvellous. We saw the Africa they never show you on TV and ASM made it all happen.
I didn’t know what to expect when communicating with Arthur but from the one that we landed in Victoria falls Arthur and his team where nothing but amazing. They welcomed us like family loved us and showed us the most amazing time even though we were demanding never on time for our itinerary and always gave them a hard time. Great tour with Lush Africa
Highly recommend this company. They concentrate on a handfull of African countries including Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania and a few more, so they are experts in these countries. I worked with Abbey in the US office to set up our tour of the South and West areas of Rwanda. Abbey was very responsive and flexible to requests. Our driver/guide was Cyprien. Since he is Rwandan, his knowledge of the country is excellent, as was his English. We also had Solomon, Lush Africa's Operations Director, with us on the tour. They showed us a great time on the tour including the Chimpanzee trek, Colobus Monkey trek, Canopy Bridge walk, Lake Kivu, etc. We did the Gorilla trek and Golden Monkey trek on a previous tour but would recommend Lush Africa for these tours also. The pricing was fair and transparent. My next tour to Africa will probably be South Africa, for which I will use Lush Africa based on my experience.

Amazing wildlife and perfect organisation
Travelling to Selous in Tanzania was an incredible trip to discover wildlife. Scenic views are very diverse and take you to a different world. On the organisation side, the trips are really smooth and qualitative (transportation, catering,...).
Guides are very helpful and ready to answer questions anytime.

After my inquiry via the website, Justine contacted me via WhatsApp. After providing my wishes for the tour, he organized a tailored package with a drive from Dar Es Salaam to Selous NP, a 3 day tour and a flight back to Zanzibar. Compass Oddysey provides customized travel at group prices, and is responsive and experienced.
Since post Covid travel has resumed, the big travel companies are struggling to provide responsive service. That is not the case with the family owned Compass Oddysey. They replied to my every question, with timely and informative responses. The dossier for the trip they prepared for me (a solo traveler) was full of valuable and detailed information. We designed my weeklong trip through Namibia and it was a varied experience of safari, Atlantic coast, cities, and dessert. I truly loved the diversity of environment and wildlife. My Guide, Elvis, was experienced and knowledgeable. He knows his way around Namibia, it’s people, wildlife, and landscape.
