Best Tour Operator
5/5

We had a trip to Amboseli National park and Juancy tours and travels organized for us from where we were pick up and where we were dropped off at the hotel and the game drives which really amazed me most and the return day they ensured we were safe and sound

Very knowledgeable, fun and professional
5/5

Our tour to Masai Mara Lenchada and tented camp and nakuru national park was a great experience. Our guide Francis was very knowledgeable and professional and allowed us to view a vast range of wild animals. Only one missed was the leopard! Only draw back was our planned hotel
Wasn’t available and required a last minute change to a lesser hotel. But good value overall

Recommend
4/5

I had a good experience with this safari! We saw a lot of animals, and the guides had a lot of knowledge. The only negative thing is that they drove very close to a lion, which stressed it. Other than that, I found the safari ethical.

Passionate
5/5

The communication with Jocky tours was excellent. They were responsive and helpful with accomodating our groups needs.

The first few days in the Mara were the highlight. I would say it really depends on your guide, and we had the best man for the job, Francis. He was passionate and well connected, knew where to find the animals.

We opted for the village tour which was great, learned a lot about the masai culture but then were pressured into buy dodgy and expensive souvenirs. There was also an option to buy other souvenirs which we did (at a decent price). The village people were very friendly and accomodating.

Lake Nakuru was great, we saw many rhinos. The accomodation was dissapointing because we were expecting a nicer resort for the night but last minute change.

Great experience on safari in Masai Mara with Karibu Safaris in Kenya!
5/5

Karibu Safaris in Kenya with safari in Masai Mara was a great experience. The driver was informative and it was clear that he had a lot of experience in the profession. He really put an effort into finding the animals we wanted to see, and we got as close as possible to them. The tour operator seemed very professional.

A good trip, a little too close some of the animals
4/5

We did drive a little to fast sometimes and way too close to some of the animals, but the rest was very good and we did see all the animals we wanted to! We also had a amazing lunch!

Experienced
4/5

It was was a very good Safari. We got to see all the big five, which is really rare. The drivers drove a little fast and they were sometimes maybe a bit to close to the animals. But it was worth the money and we had a lot of fun!

Best safari tour and experience ever
5/5

Lawrence, our tour operator, went above and beyond to ensure our happiness, providing thorough information, impeccable service, and a worry-free experience that exceeded our expectations.

Raymond, our guide, was a true gem—exemplifying politeness, a wealth of information, and seemingly possessing eagle eyes that effortlessly spotted wildlife from afar during our unforgettable 4-day safari across Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara. The seamless airport transfers and varied accommodations each night further enriched our adventure, creating a journey filled with awe and comfort.

With Lawrence and Raymond at the helm, we wholeheartedly recommend this exceptional experience.

Majestic!
5/5

We are a group of 5 who booked via safari bookings website for a four day tour. Jockey tours was excellent in accommodating our needs, we changed the hotel pick up several times and that was not a problem (Hakuna Matata).
In short: Francis, our tour guide, is the BEST tour guide you can wish for! Extremely knowledgeable of all the different reserves, different animals and information about all the animals. He has worked as a tour guide for 13+ years and you can imagine the knowledge as his father was also a tour guide. Very well connected with other tour operators and reserve rangers and you will be able to see at least 30 different type of animals on any day!
Francis loves what he does and that spills out into positivity while on the tour! He has two rules: Be Positive and Be Patient :)

In length:
We were picked up at the hotel on the first day and we head to their office to pay for the tour. Then we head to Maasai Reserve. On the way, we stopped at the Great Rift viewpoint (unlucky for us there were clouds). Upon reaching the reserve, you have lunch, settle in your tents and then go for a Game Drive for a couple of nights before ending the day.
Next day is an early rise for a full day at the Maasai Reserve with a picnic in wild. We saw everything from elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, wild beasts, buffalos to cheetahs and lions. (Among many others)
You have the option to get a tour of Alligators and Hippos for a small charge of (200 shillings pp).
Third day you can elect either for a tour of the Maasai Village ($20 USD pp) which we went for or a hot air ballon tour. The Village was very interesting and worthwhile. You get a touch of how the Maasai live and their culture. The rest of the day is the drive to Nakuru.
Last day we had more Game Drives at Nakuru national park and saw Beautiful Rhinos and flamingos!
Highly recommend this experience and specifically request for Francis!
