An Unforgettable Tanzanian Safari Experience
We are absolutely thrilled with our recent Tanzanian safari, and it would not have been possible without the exceptional planning of Erick from your sales team. Thank you, Erick, for crafting such a perfect and seamless itinerary for us. We were incredibly satisfied with every detail, from the comfortable accommodations to the well-paced game drives.
The safari itself was beyond our wildest dreams. We were blessed to witness the magnificent Big Five in their natural habitat, a true privilege. The highlight, however, had to be the awe-inspiring spectacle of the Great Wildebeest Migration, where we watched thousands of wildebeest bravely crossing the river—a moment we will cherish forever. Every single day was filled with excitement and joy, offering new and breathtaking sightings.
A huge part of our enjoyment was thanks to our guide, Champion. His expertise and incredible "eagle eyes" were unmatched; he always seemed to be the first to spot animals, from a leopard camouflaged in a tree to a pride of lions resting in the distance. His knowledge, passion for wildlife, and friendly demeanor made our trips both educational and immensely fun. We felt completely safe and in the best hands throughout the journey.
We cannot recommend Champion highly enough. Thank you for an unforgettable adventure that exceeded all our expectations. We will be dreaming of our return to Tanzania!

The company is not professional with minimum customer care
George Killas, owner of Terrain Tanzania Safaris, left us completely unsupported during multiple trip failures—and never took responsibility.
After a full day of travel, our group (which included elderly family members) was denied check-in. The hotel informed us that George had failed to make payment, even though he had told us everything was confirmed. Later on, he tried to explain the situation and then we realized that he knew this could happen weeks ago but chose not to inform us.
When the hotel rejected the voucher, George told us to “just show it again” and dropped the call. We spent over an hour begging hotel staff to let us stay while he did nothing. It was humiliating, stressful, and completely avoidable.
Throughout the trip, George showed no accountability. From disappearing during emergencies to making excuses instead of solutions, he abandoned us when we needed him most.
We booked this trip expecting reliable support and coordination from a trusted safari company. Instead, we were met with negligence, dishonesty, and total lack of professionalism.
Do not book with this company. George will take your money—and leave you stranded.

They are scammers! Stay away from them
I paid an advance of 257USD back in April for an3 days safari to Masai Mara in September. In the 3rd week of August, he sents me a msg saying he has to cancel the safari and he will initiate the refund.
And then I have tried to text him, no more responses. I had to pay another operator to do my safari, but these never got back

Dishonest company
DO NOT BOOK!!! They scammed us out thousands of dollars! My husband and I booked a 5 day honeymoon safari, paid in full, through them in January and checked in with them a few weeks before arrival to make sure everything was confirmed and our itinerary was set- to which they reassured us it was. Upon arriving at our 2nd nights accommodation we found out not only was that hotel not paid for but the rest of the accommodations, park fees and driver were also not paid! They claimed they are having money issues and the “bank took the funds”. We have not been issued a refund despite them saying we would be receiving one. I encourage everyone that has been scammed by them as well to contact the tourism police and file a claim. They should be held accountable!

The safari was amazing, Axis Africa was a great tour group
Tabitha was very easy to work with to set up the safari, coordinating all the logistics, deposits, and hotel pickup. Msaga was an excellent and friendly tour guide, who has decades of experience and knows a lot about the Masai Mara and the animals. The lodge that we stayed in, Wild Nest Mara Camp, was clean and the food was really good. Overall, this was an amazing experience and Axis Africa made everything run smoothly. The overall price was very reasonable.

Wonderful experience seeing Rwanda
We were in Rwanda for a gorilla trek and Mansoor was with us for the entire duration - taking us to and from Kigali airport, many hotel pick up and drop offs, showing us around the Kigali, and accompanying us to Volcanoes National Park. He was extremely reliable and knowledgeable, sharing with us the Rwanda culture and history. He spent a lot of time explaining the gorilla trekking process to us as well and got us a great trek option. I loved hearing him talk about the Kwita Izina, which is the gorilla naming ceremony held once a year. Unfortunately, we just missed this year’s by one day, which means we’ll have to come back and will definitely book Mansoor again!

Good driver and knowledgeable
Had a very good experience, the Ashnil lodge we stayed in Masai Mara was fantastic, i was impressed by customer service,the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, the rooms exceeded my expectations, clean and spacious will definitely be vising again.

We just returned from an unforgettable African Safari, and we have to give a huge shoutout to Axis Africa Safaris!!
Right from the very first planning discussions months ago, they were fantastic, especially Lucy Precious, who was our Tour Consultant. She is truly amazing - always quick to respond, full of great tips and advice, and her attention to detail made all the difference. When we visited their office in Nairobi, she and her Director, Cynthia Itambo welcomed us like family and made us feel so comfortable.
Our safari guide, Yasin Abdi, was excellent!!! His knowledge, patience, and passion for wildlife truly made our experience special. He went above and beyond to ensure we saw an incredible variety of animals, and we loved watching how he and the other guides/rangers worked together to share sightings. He never ceased to amaze us - with his keen eye constantly scanning the horizon and he could even spot a lion or cheetah relaxing under a tree or in a bush, from a distance!! He wouldn’t disclose what he had sighted until we came close to the gorgeous creatures, and then, we were just in awe!! Thanks to Yasin’s expertise, we not only saw the Big 5 and more, but also learned to appreciate the magic of nature and how animals instinctively respond to everything around them.
If you’re planning a safari in Kenya, we cannot recommend Axis Safaris enough and especially Lucy as your Consultant and Yasin as your Guide... This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we are so grateful to the entire team for making it so smooth, exciting, and memorable!

Amazing experience with Explorers Wild Safari
We travelled in June 2025 and had an amazing experience with Explorers Wild Safari from start to finish. Johann was very helpful and put together a competitive customised package to meet our requirements. Communication throughout with the company was very clear and hassle-free. The final arrangements were exactly as we were promised and we had a wonderful guide, David, who was very knowledgeable and took efforts to make our whole experience very enjoyable. I have already recommended them to my friends and wouldn't hesistate to use them again!
