Had a 5D/4N safari trip with my wife and 2 y.o son in November.

If you book with Axis Africa, make sure Jeff is NOT your guide
To be clear, it wasn't all bad. The booking went fine, the agent was informative and helpful, the price was right, and the tented camp we stayed in was pleasant. But what you need most on a tour is a tour guide, and Jeff was anything but. He was our driver, and nothing more.
At the beginning of day 1 Jeff told us to ask questions, and generally one would expect those questions to be answered in addition to the guided tour, but what we got was a few, simple words to answer questions, and further questions seemed unwelcome. In what probably amounted to 20+ hours in the vehicle over 3 days, he maybe said a total of 200 words to us. He would stop, point, and say "impala" (or something similar) and then continue once we were finished taking photos. We got no information about the reserve, the animals, or what to expect from the day. Over several meals at the camp we heard all the other groups talking about what great guides they had and that saddened/angered me.
So, my review is simple: If you book with Axis Africa make sure Jeff is NOT your guide.

Incredible great experience
We went on a 5 day midrange Safari with Godi. It was such a great experience. We could choose our Parks and where we wanted to go. Godi booked the Hotels there where the animals are at the moment and so we were able to see the great migration! It was just so incredible!
Godi was a great guide with a lot of knowledge about the animals and where you can find them.
We also had a chef who cooked delicious meals everyday!

The tour with Focus in Africa was beyond amazing!
Definitely and highly recommend the safari with Focus in Africa. The whole experience was more than amazing: lovely guide (Augustin), very experienced and always patient and happy to stop wherever asked to, fantastic in spotting animals and teaching everything he knows about the parks and the wildlife. Joyful and attentive to our needs throughout the trip. Prosper, the chef, is also a five star. Extremely polite and the meals where beyond what we were imagining to get (tasty soups, african dishes, and never repeating his menu). If you are on a budget, do not hesitate in doing the group safari (6-people), the experience will be even better if you join an exciting and diverse group, as we had the luck to be part of. Camping at the campsites is just like being in the nature with the animals, an unique trip for life.

My first time in Kenya and my first safari tour. Incredible!
We arrived in the off-season and expected to see only elephants and birds, but we saw more than we expected!
We met a lot of giraffes, wildebeests, gazelles, monkeys, warthogs, herd of elephants and a wide variety of birds. The trip was unforgettable. Special thanks to Patrick and Livingston the are provided support on all levels.
Highly recommend and will definitely be back in the summer!

Wonderful three days in the parks, everything according to the agreement and plan.
We also used the AAA Express service during our second visit to Tanzania. In 2017, together with our guide Joseph, we conquered both Kili and Meru. This year it was all about having fun on Safari. our driver Peter was great and we really enjoyed Tarangire, Manyara and Ngorongoro parks. Safari is always about luck, weather and driver skill. It was the second experience with Ngorongoro and Manyara parks and we could compare. In Ngorongoro in particular, we were very lucky and the number of animals was almost double the previous visit. Unfortunately, it was the other way around in Manyara. I wish all travelers to be a "happy group" as the guides call those who see most of the big five and many other animals. We also enjoyed the accommodation at Eilennss Tree Inn, which Mr. Jalala recommended to us, the hotel was very nice and the food was good.
