Skilled and caring guide. Flexible booking.
We booked a 2-day Selous private safari to spend between two connecting flights. A tight schedule to catch the flight home. Heavy rain made the roads really bad, so the company made a last minute change in the itinerary so we could get the most of the safari and still manage to catch the flight. This meant the driver had to get up at 3 AM to pick us up. Took about 5 hours to get to the park.
Our driver and guide was Emanuel. Nice, funny, safe driver and with very good knowledge. Told things about most birds, trees, animals and about the culture. Very responsive in what we wanted to do. He could sense when we wanted to stop for photos etc. Saw zebras, giraffes, warthogs, crocodiles, hippos, African buffalos, monkeys, baboons and much more. There were tracks after elephants and Emanuel really struggled to find elephants and lions, but we had bad luck. That's nature...
There was a short boat trip after the first day's driving. Birds, crocodiles and lots of hippos. The lodge to spend the night was titled "budget", but it was really luxurious. Big rooms, modern design with big panorama windows, good food, pool etc. Really nice.
The second day started with an hour walk with a bushman who explained the details in the nature. Showed tracks, insects and what have been worshiped and used as medicine.
Because of the road condition we went back earlier than planned, but we felt that we got a really nice experience and didn't mind going back. There was so much we had seen and learned. Emanuel made sure we had fruit, lunch and water. But skipped lunch himself in order to get back in time, which we did without feeling stressed.

Great trip with Dickson
We spent a week with Dickson and are completely thrilled!
We always felt well looked after and treated professionally.
He is very experienced and always in a good mood.
He has many contacts that help you get to the parks faster and he responds to all your wishes.
We started in Nairobi then towards Lake Nakuru and then to Amboseli Park.

Supercharged special solo safari soirée
Decided to roll with Suricata over other companies as I had already booked Kilimanjaro with them.
Going solo on a safari was always going to be unpredictable.
I feel as though I got a truely unique experience. Over the 3 days I visited
- Tarangire NP
- Lake Manyara NP
- Ngorongoro Crater
With 3 different guides, who all had endless knowledge and provided entertaining insight as well as answering my many questions. Their eyes are incredible at locating animals near and far.
Thank you to Max, Osman and Lewis.
I never knew I had an interest in bird spotting before I met Osman.
The food was delicious and plentiful thanks to the many chefs I met.
The jeeps were spacious and had all the pockets and accessories you would ever need.
The camping was comfortable beyond expectation.
One thing I kept reminding myself was to relax and take it all in and go with the flow. Plans changed and people changed but the experience remained top notch.
Highly recommend!

Unforgettable Safari
Recently, Me and my mother went on a 4-day safari in Tanzania with Kanje Grand Tours. Iddi, our guide, displayed exceptional knowledge of wildlife and was a true expert in navigating the the parks. Innocent, the safari organizer, ensured answered all the questions we had to ask from the fist message through WhatsApp to the last one, it was fabulous. The overall experience was outstanding, with breathtaking sights and impeccable service. Highly recommend this team for an unforgettable safari adventure.

Amazing experience, very pleasant and fun staff and tour guides. Overall, not a single complaint.
Pickup
The pickup is on time and professional.
The Staff
The staff at the Tremisana Lodge where we were staying were all of them excellent, professional, but most of all pleasant and fun. The tour guides have a lot of knowledge, but also work as entertainers, we were laughing half os the time, especially with a guide called Smiley (makes sense :) ). You also get a different tour guide on each day which is cool to see their different approaches towards animals.
The Accomodation
Very clean, comfortable beds and AC.

Welcoming and accommodating
We book through whatsapp around 3 months in advance, we exchanged a few messages with different companies and Meru seemed the most responsive and accommodating. Unfortunately there was a mistake in our safari tour, we had to start 1 day earlier but things eventually worked out (probably better to have a few days margin if you want to go on a shared safari to get lower prices).
We’ve been picked up at kilimanjaro airport, hosted 1 night in Arusha and left early the day after with 4 other ppl (most safari trucks are made for 6 customers, still roomy enough imo), our cook and our good guide mister MUDDY. We did 4 days, with 2 nights in tent in the parks and 1 night at a lodge near lake Manyara. The tents are quite roomy for two and high enough to stand in the middle, equipped with camping mat and sleeping bags (haven’t been cold at all). The food was simple but plenty and good, you can bring some snacks but you don’t need. We went to Serengeti NP, Ngorongoro area, and Lake Manyara NP. Overall everything went well, the staff has been friendly, professional, punctual and flexible. Some days were a bit tiring but nothing unsurmountable, and definitely worth the reward of living this unique experience. Idk if we got lucky but we’ve seen pretty much everything advertised (rhinos were a bit far though, bring your binoculars).
Unforgettable experience.

Perfect Tanzania Safari
We found Gilmag Safaris randomly on Google Search and contacted them. Every question was answered quickly and the preparation information was spot on. The payment process was effortless with flexible payment plan.
Everything was perfect especially the warm welcome from our guide, Erick who was neat and perfect in everything with a clean and nice safari landcruiser. We visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti where we witnessed the Great Wildebeest Migration. Accommodation was well arranged according to our request and we had the best experience which exceeded our expectations. The Plantation Lodge – was the icing on the cake! The gardens, the rooms, the restaurant - fabulous!
We had the best vacation ever! I recommend Gilmag Safaris 100%.

Well organized group Joining safari
We were in kenya for some work training and we decided to join a group since we didn’t want spend a lot of money, the communication and bookings with Wecam went really good and Mercy was able to meet us at our hotel on a very short notice to confirm the safari.
The whole trip was well organized though there were some delays on the start day but they explained it’s a group tour and guests are being picked from different locations.
Overall, the tour was good.
