Surprisingly amazing experience
Our tour guide was Rajabu. :) All good words toward him!
He is brilliant guide, smart and his knowlegde about nature and animals was super! He let us feel comfortable and we felt free to ask questions.
We didn't know much about Tanzanian life and he talked and introduced much about traffic, Tanzanian nation etc.
He was really calm in this super suicidal fraffic, never got nervous about other terrible drivers (bus drives).
He also cared about our food and was very polite in every communication - also with local people.
Food was good and accomondation was modest, but better than in tent :)
We saw a mamy different animals, more than we ever expected. Rajabu told us lot of storys about every animal.
Communication with tour operator (Donatus) was fast and fluent.
It was worth that money!

In ten days we did a trek on Kilimanjaro and multiple safaris and game drives in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Ndutu and Tarangire. We slept in exclusive facilities: tented camp in the middle of the savannah and breathtaking lodges. We spotted the big five and many other animals always accompanied by a professional and super helpful guide named Mainer.

Around Africa Safaris was wonderful to work with regarding our itinerary, dates, changes, information, and details. Our contact person was Robert Nyeko. He is extremely efficient and timely. No matter the time, he responded to questions and concerns immediately.
Our itinerary for Rwanda and Uganda was extremely active with a lot of driving and sightseeing. The itinerary that Robert sent us was very detailed. He continued to send updated versions as we made date and accommodation changes. I worked in the travel industry for years and have traveled extensively, Robert is as good as it gets!
We traveled as a family of 5 adults. We were a “team” with our leader / guide / driver, Ambrose. Ambrose is incredibly knowledgeable about each city and park we visited. He is also knowledgeable about the facts of animals and countries in East Africa. We adored Ambrose instantly and our affection and respect grew from there. We looked forward to hearing everything he had to share. Some of our days and drives were long, but Ambrose kept us entertained and interested. Visiting the chimpanzees and the gorillas were all time travel highs. Uganda as a country is amazingly beautiful. I was mesmerized by all the green and mountains.
Anyone wanting to visit Africa, I will highly recommend Uganda as a must-see destination. It is still a little off the radar, which is in my opinion, the best time to explore places. We encountered very few tourists. The Ugandan people are friendly and eager to please. All of our accommodations were nice. The standouts were: Rwakobo Rock / Hornbill House, Karibu Guest House, Isunga Lodge and Rushaga Gorilla Camp.
