This Safari was a destination anniversary for my wife and I.
Locations and weather were all we might have expected - stunning. Joshua, our expertly trained and finely practiced guide along with his intern Robbie made the Safari more than we could have hoped for! Like being in a "Wild Kingdom" episode but with a team that couldn't hide their enthusiasm for the animals, land, and the Masai; all capped with a passion for Kenya.
We chose the luxury accommodations because of our celebration. We were very pleased with Jambo Mara Safari Lodge and the Sarova Woodlands Hotel. Excellent rooms, meals and remarkable as well as pleasant staff.
This was an anniversary we will cherish. Thanks to Axis Safaris.

Excellent Safari Experience!
We booked an 8-day Safari Tour with Africa Starpal Tours & Safaris and we had a wonderful experience.
Paul was very helpful is organising our tour, providing quick responses via email. Our tour guide Glenn was amazing! Super friendly guy, very knowledgeable about the animals in the wild, and taking great care of us during our tour around Kenya.
We visited Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli National Park, and Tsavo East. The tour was flexible as well so we could add things of our interest.
I highly recommend booking a Safari through African Starpal Tours & Safaris.

Leslie and Tanzania Choice Safaris are absolutely the best!
I scheduled my safari very close to my travel date. Brenda coordinated the trip beautifully, and arranged everything. Leslie, my guide, is the absolute best! He was able to locate animals at an incredible distance, and instinctively knew exactly where to stop to get the ideal view. In addition, he was like an encyclopedia for the various creatures we found. (He had a book available, but generally referenced it only to show me something as a comparison; I think I stumped him only once with a question about ostriches). We were able to see all the usual safari sights; but a number of unusual sights as well (including mama and baby cheetahs, and a serval cat). Leslie just "instinctively" knew where to be and when. He is like a magician!

An amazing experience with obviously the best company around
Wow! I can not recommend Suricata safaris enough and I will be doing to all my friends and family. If I could give more than five stars, then I would, from beginning to end, Suricata were amazing. From the initial email communication and organisation to on the ground support. They were flexible and great communicators, catering to every need. As soon as we arrived in Tanzania, we were greeted very warmly and given a full briefing of what to expect from our safari, so we were fully prepared.
We asked to do a local tour of Arusha which they organised last minute with a great guide Chuke, who showed us the real Arusha, including important monuments, hidden gems and visited a local restaurant with delicious food, Chuke educated us so much on the culture and history of the town.
Then we started our safari with Mandela as our guide for the 3 day safari across the Serengeti & Ngorongoro and it’s safe to say we were in the best hands. Mandela is a clear expert on the animals, culture and environment and also shared so much insight into Tanzania as a country, the most knowledgable, skilled guide in both safari & driving, this was also recognised by other guides that we met on our trip, he really is a genuine, nice and honourable man. We’re so grateful that we got to have him as our guide and are leaving Tanzania with a once in a lifetime experience, seeing incredible animals and meeting brilliant people. The food and lodges during our trip were incredible too and everything was organised to a tee, we already can’t wait to come back!

Accommodating, responsive, experienced !
African Big Cat Safari surpassed my already high expectations of what our safari was going to be. I picked them because they were very responsive from the beginning of the planning process, they added me on whatsapp and we discussed all options at length.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by our amazing guide Obed, and felt in very good hands.
The lodges we selected were excellent, we decided to book a range of accommodations from luxury tents to five star hotels - simba lodge, four seasons hotel, intimate zebra camp, Melia Ngorongoro lodge.
Obed was very knowledgeable, flexible, an expert at finding where the animals are, explaining what they’re doing etc and overall a great companion/ fun guy to hang out with!
We had the best time. We visited local tribes and had an especially amazing time at the hadzabe tribe visit, which was a completely last-minute request from us, that african big cats immediately accommodated.
I recommend them highly !!

Excellent organization and kindness
We are very satisfied with the organization of our trip with this company. From our pick-up at the airport to the last day, everything has been very well coordinated, the guide has been excellent, and we are very happy with the experience. Highly recommended!

No point in using them
If you are using a travel agent to give you guidance and insight knowledge about where to stay and what to do, this is not your agency. In our trip to Rwanda and Tanzania, we stayed in five hotels in total. We payed for what we thought was a luxury package. One hotel was excellent, which we chose ourselves, one was ok, but not what we were expecting, two were old, outdated and tired hotels and the last one was an all inclusive, terrible service, nightmare of a hotel. We spent the last part of our vacation complaining while being offered no real solution to the issues. They are very polite, but basically you are left to deal with the hotel yourself. If you want a luxury, smooth experience in Africa, find a different Travel Agent. Trust me on that one…

Amazing safari
Thanks a lot for this expérience ! It was amazing to visit the safari, to look at the animals : lions, girafs, zébras,… in the middle nature !!!! And the guide, Gérald, was very nice. He is very patient and listed well! It’s important to live the safari with a good guide because Gerald contributed to a great vacation. Thank you so much Gerald ! See the big cats and more!
This was an amazing trip! We took a 4-day safari from Arusha to Mwanza and African Big Cat Safaris was fantastic from communication before the trip until we said good-bye. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area, how to get the best views, local culture, and all the animals. He knew the genus and species of all (almost 100!) birds! This was a great value for money. We stayed in beautiful lodges with good food. Everything was taken care of. I would highly recommend them! We did indeed see the big cats-- lion, cheetah, jaguar-- in addition to so many more animals.
