Top class, well organized, very welcoming and a great experience
5/5

From beginning the booking, Noel from Serengeti Luxury Safaris was very responsive in providing all the details of what to expect via email and WhatsApp.
Then from arrival, everything worked perfectly, we were picked up from the airport, stayed at the lodge in Arusha and had a city tour that evening. The next morning we began the Safari. The tour guide was fantastic and with many years of experience, really knew where to go and look to find each of the many species of animals in the parks. We seen all of the big five, we even seen a lion stalk, chase, catch and kill a giraffe. Overall we seen a huge amount of wildlife.
The lodges were also fantastic after long days exploring the national parks. From seeing the campsites and the lodges we stayed in, I would highly recommend taking the lodges to have a better night sleep. It’s more expensive but the difference in quality is huge.
Overall, everything worked out perfectly as promised and you can’t go wrong putting your trust in Noel and Serengeti Luxury Safaris.

Absolutely incredible dream trip
5/5

We booked our safari directly with Serengeti Wakanda after reading such amazing reviews online!

Right from our first enquiry email Aishwarya was so professional, responsive and quick to send us information and a proposed itinerary. Then a couple of months before our trip we got an email saying that due to the migration patterns and the weather they’d like to adjust our itinerary a little to give us the best chance of seeing animals, obviously they are the experts so we went with their changes happily, and really appreciated that change as we would never have known if not for them!

We were in regular contact with Aishwarya via WhatsApp leading up to our trip she was absolutely amazing at replying super quickly and answering all our questions.

Everything was taken care of. We were picked up and taken to our Arusha hotel and then briefed for our safari. The following morning we begun our safari!

We’re a couple and our Safari guide was Andrew, and Aishwarya also accompanied us as photographer.

The vehicle was great for us, it was comfy and plenty of drinks available. We had picnic lunch on the first day cooked by the Serengeti Wakanda chef :) very yummy! The rest of the time we were well fed at all the lodges, and had packed lunches by which ever lodge we were staying at.

We felt so lucky to have Andrew as our guide, he went to the next level to give us a unique experience. He knows exactly how to find the animals, what behaviour the animal is going to do and how to position the vehicle for the best angles to see them and take photos. He was so skilful at driving, we experienced more rain than normal for this time of year and so some roads were quite muddy, we were always safe with Andrew’s driving. He was so patient and knowledgeable and you can tell he’s so passionate about his job.

Aisha took some amazing photographs of both of us, and she’s a very talented photographer of all the animals too, some of the shots she got could totally be in National geographic! We wish you all the success in the future with your photography dreams, and hope your shots go viral many more times!!

Andrew and Aisha are so friendly, great stories and such interesting conversations, we learnt so much and they went out of their way to make our experience as special as possible. We now have some amazing memories that wouldn’t have been possible with out them! They are THE dream team!

We will never forget our time with you, we hope to come back as we know there is so much more to see! Thank you so much for everything - you guys are awesome.

Fantastic Safari Tour Company
5/5

I run a travel adventure YouTube channel and travel a lot. Spirit of Kenya is one of the best, well-run companies I've worked with. Jorge, our trip organizer, was fantastic! He was super responsive and answered dozens and dozens of questions for us. Jorge priced many different options for us and gave us great recommendations. Everything he recommended like where to go and where to stay was accurate and worked out great. I had a of couple of special requests, I wanted some photography bean bags for example, and Jorge made sure they were loaded in the vehicle. Spirit of Kenya was very organized and provided everything we needed from the time we landed at the airport until our guide dropped us off at the airport at the end of our trip. Our guide, Rufus, was also fantastic! He worked tirelessly to make sure we saw the animals we really wanted to see. He was also very knowledgeable on animal habits and where and when to see them. We spent 9 days with Rufus on various game drives across Amboseli and the Masai Mara. He was very patient with us and we made plans every night for the following day. He let us decide on the type of game drives we wanted to do and when to go. A good guide is a must for a successful Safari. See my photos for just a small sample of all the animals Rufus helped us find. I found Spirit of Kenya also to be extremely affordable compared to other options. I've heard of safari companies going out of business after you have paid your money so picking the right company is the biggest and most important decision you will make. I can't recommend this company enough. They are the best! Check out my YouTube channel to see exactly how great our experiences were.

A fantastic country!

A fantastic trip to a fantastic country!
We had a combination of game reserve, the garden route and then the Cape Town area, wine district and the peninsula. Our highest recommendations! We used Safari bookings and their subcontractors. Excellent service and everything well organized. My contact person was Keith in Cape Town and our guide for garden route and the Cape Area was Maximilien. Both extraordinary persons, we became friends and had dinner together with their wives and Keith’s little son. We are 100% satisfied!

Clear indication and hints received upfront. Payment went also flawlessly in two tranches. Recommendations about what to pack were also given.
We were picked up at OR Tambo airport as expected, dropped at Hazyview meeting point after around 5 hours(return the same). Travel conditions were good. From Hazyview meeting point we were picked up by the lodge staff and taken to the lodge to have the check in done. Big rooms or big tents were available. Don't expect something small. Even the tents are huge, like a small house with everything in it. Dinner and breakfast included, and also two nights of accommodation. Lodge staff was nice.
There were two game drives included. The first for about 4 hours, and the second for about 8 hours. The experience was lovely. This is why we took also the third optional game drive as well for the last day.
Throughout the game drives the guides/drivers were very attentive with us, in order to make sure that we see everything that we can in the park. We were quite lucky and we saw all the rare animals, including the big five as well: elephant, rhino, hyena, giraffe, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah, zebra, monkey, impala, kudu, hippo, crocodile, various birds, etc.
I recommend to have windproof and rain clothes. Even if it is warm, the wind is quite powerful.

South Africa is best place ever!!!
Overall rating
5/5

I was expecting this trip to South Africa for a long time, so I was very thrilled once I arrived! I can say now after spending 15 days over there that the reality of South Africa is way better than my expectations! The experience in Kruger Park was wonderful; to see the wild life really near to me, the lights, the colors… all the big 5 and not just once! I will stop to say thank you to our guide Remember! And then the ocean with all its animals, and the scenic route of Cpe Town, the food and the people in the south but also in the north in Johannesburg. All was so overwhelming that I cried when I was about to take my plane back in Europe! Thanks South Africa for these precious memories!

Kruger Park is such a beauty! We did 3 safari there and all the time we experienced a set of emotions that was unimaginable. See elephants, tibia, lions, buffalos and even a leopard so near to us was magnificent! And lights and colors there are something that even the best filters in the world cannot give to you! You have to try to say it!

Lacked detailed communication but was a good trip.
4/5

We booked a 1 day trip to Selous from Zanzibar.
- Ask for discount right away. This tour was more expensive than others.
- Communication was prompt but lacked details about the trip. I like to know details about what happens before and during safari. Especially because I had children with us.

Our driver was prompt and professional (from One Africa). He took us to the airport cafe Johazi where we had breakfast (coffee and croissant) as we waited for our other members. They then presented us with the ticket and there were flights of 13 people per flight going to Selous. The 8hrs start when you land in Selous. Bathrooms are available at the airport. While on safari there are two stops planned. 1 for coffee and 1 for lunch. Bathrooms are going behind the bushes. There is one port o potty at lunch. Guides have waters and soda in each Jeep. We saw many animals but no lion. Apparently lions are easier to see at Mikumi.

Overall the tour I booked was fun and smooth but I wonder if I could have booked the same tour through someone with more details about the tour. Then I would have felt more at ease about what to expect.
