Excellent organisation and amazing safari
5/5

Everything was super smooth, no issues and we had a fantastic safari. The 3 day tour worked really well with our itinerary and also allowed us to pack loads in from a boat tour, to a game drive to a Bush walk!

It was an unforgettable trip. Kaiser is a very very good guide, really. He knows everything about animals. My husband was mostly interested in birds and Kaiser was an especially good guide. It was a great days and I would not hesitate to entrust Kaiser with our trip. Thanks for everything. You made our trip a great adventure!

A hugely enjoyable, well organised experience.

The company communicated well with us, both before and during the excursion.

We were only surprised once; to learn of a last-minute change of one hotel; from the Crater Rim View to the Tanzanice Lodge. But we had no complaints there, because the Tanzanice is stunning! We would happily have stayed there all three nights if it was possible. Actually Tanzanice gave us two family rooms for the price of one, because no-one else was staying that night.

Our only gripe on the hotel front was the final one - the Twiga Lodge in Mto wa Mbu. (Don't confuse it with the one in Arusha!) This was more of a campsite with some rooms around; check-in was like a military camp and our "family room" was one tiny room with three equal-sized beds crammed into it. Barely room to move, but it was for one night, and the food was OK. But it was explained - you pays your money you takes your choice, we went for a low-end deal so they had to choose hotels which fit the budget. We got lucky with the Tanzanice.

The Green Mountain Hotel in Arusha (our first one) was fine - clean, friendly, and had a very impressive restaurant, where everything is cooked from scratch (even the bread) as you watch!

Our 3 day safari took in Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park. And we thoroughly enjoyed each day - plenty of lions at Ngorongoro. We only missed out on cheetah, didn't see any of them. But that's not the fault of the safari guys!

Our Toyota Land Cruiser had seen much better days - bits falling off it en route and the horn sounding of its own accord occasionally - but we found that rather charming. And we enjoyed the company of our fine guide Julius. A really nice chap with his own interesting history.

I'd have no problem using this company again. Many thanks guys!

An exquisite feeling to be home in the middle of an exotic and untouched Africa.
5/5

I did a fly-in safari through Zimbabwe with African Bush Camps in October. I stayed at Somalisa Camp, in Hwange National Park, Bumi Hills Safari Lodge, on the banks of the Lake Kariba and finished with Zambezi Expeditions and Kanga Camp in Mana Pools. Each camp was so different and geographically diverse that this itinerary gave me a complete overview of the country's most remarkable landscapes. I learned a lot about the animals and listening to guides telling little stories about the bush was fascinating. Is was also a pleasure to go back to camps after the activities because the staff members were so welcoming and so considerate that I really felt like a special guest or maybe... it was simply a feeling of going back home... in Africa.

I would love to say Smartview is the best tour operator in Kenya. They made our Safari successful with their best professional and friendly approach. They placed our comfort before anything else and provided services that must have limited their profit i guess. Their driver, the vehicle, the hotels and resorts that they provided in the package was worth more than what I paid. They gave us finest driver on Kenyan roads and in game parks plus a good communicator. His knowledge and understanding of wildlife and nature around helps one enjoy the safari and see all that is there on offer. His patience and friendliness is non-comparable. I highly recommend SMARTVIEW TRAVEL to anyone going to Kenya for a short or long tour. I am 100% sure they will offer you what ever you want and at a cost you can not regret.

How to See Uganda's Gorillas, Chimps + Safari
5/5

Uganda is an incredible safari destination. Working with experts is key. Let’s Go Travel’s experienced team made our complex itinerary easy, exciting and seamless. Joan and Alfy run a trusted business with knowledgeable, local drivers and guides, who genuinely care. From arrival to departure, visiting three different national parks, the team was there to ensure all ran smoothly. The itinerary was full of once-in-a-lifetime moments and cultural immersion. We had a blast.

Xxx Review - Eco Bamboo Tours
My wife and I have just finished a 5 day tour with Eco Bamboo tour and are still reeling from the great time we had.
Our choice of operator came via a friends recommendation who said the company were great value and importantly, worked hard to ensure that local communities benefit from tourism. They were spot on!
We decided to start from Kigali (Rwanda) so that the transfer to Bwindi NP was shorter (then that from Entebbe/Kampala). Godfrey picked us promptly on the 1st day and we set off for the Ugandan border which we crossed with ease.
Not long after, we were in the town of Kisoro, staying at Golden Monkey our base for the next 2 nights as we tackled the Gorilla trek. This was a truly amazing experience!
On the 3rd day we checked out and headed for Amajambere Iwacu Community Campground by Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, where Mt Sabinyo resides. After consecutive days of heart pumping exercise, for the most amazing reward of wildlife and scenery, we then headed South to rest up at Lake Bunyoni. Our original itinerary had us staying one night, but mid way through the trip we felt we might want an additional night to rest before the long drive back to Kampala/Entebbe, and EcoBamboo tours were very accomodating in making this possible.
Our final day saw the longest drive, broken up by a lunch stop just outside Mbarara and picture opportunity at the Equator before we were dropped at Entebbe.
We cannot thank Edison and all the Godfrey’s enough for their help, patience (with all our questions) and fantastic company in making this tour one we will never forget.
There is still so much for us to see in Uganda, so we will be back, and when we do, we will look to EcoBamboo tours.

Exellent 5 days Safari trip with gide Kikitu
5/5

The main reason why we chose Axis Africa Safaris was the possibility to pay for the trip on arrival without deposit. And we were very happy with our choise. Our Safari guide Kikitu is very positive and funny person. He gave us so much information about animals. During game drives he did everything that we would have the opportunity to see as much as possible animals in their natural habitat. He knew exactly where to go to see them and get the best views. He took care that we get the best of our trip. The accommodation was good, especially Mara Lenchada camp. We had unforgettable experience. Thanks to Axis Africa!
Also the people we joined Safari were great.
